Born in the late 80s, Iz Lacson has always had a fondness for the arts. His favorite subjects in school mostly required the use of his hands and imagination like HomeEc, Science, Art, Mu-sic and Computer Class. In high school he joined various clubs including Theater, Art, Music, Drumline, and even the Choir. But it wasn’t until around 2007-2008 when he was taking up a degree in BS Nursing where he real-ized his love for Graphic Design and Multimedia. In December of 2010 Iz Lacson stumbled upon a cubeecraft design of Superman. He downloaded it, printed, cut, folded and enjoyed cubeecraft.

Cubeecraft, pronounced “kyo-ob-ee”, is a papercraft toy that features interlocking tabs for construction – completely getting rid of the need for tape, glue or any other messy adhe- sives. Each toy is designed to be printed on a standard piece of 8 1/2 X 11 A4 letter paper. All you have to do is download, print, cut and fold, then presto! you now have a cute and fun paper toy.Originaly started by Chris Beau-mont back in 2008, Cubeecraftt has spawned unlimited cubee-craft creations and unlimited contributing artists.

Having enjoyed cubeecraft, he decided to look for more de-signs, specifically DC Comics Characters. Although there are many de-signs in the Cubeecraft website, Iz was disappointed that there were no Green Lantern cubee-crafts.

You can download Chris Beaumont’s Cubeecraft template and create your own character. But remember, Cubeecraft is intended for private use and not to be used in a commercial capacity without permission!

Decidedly he Googled in “green lantern cubee- craft” and found out that there are countless artists who design cubeecrafts of their own.Still not pleased with the search results, He tried making his own Green Lantern design, which later spawned more and more designs inspired by DC Comics.

Some people would even ask him and request to make a

cubeecraft of their favorite mov-ie, TV show, or cartoon char-

acter and personalized cubees. He even did a bride and groom design for his friend’s wedding.
