History of the MRET

Howard’s original policy was very

2006. Growth in the industry greatly

• Wind turbines require stable foundations at their base to hold them in

place to stop high winds from toppling them over.

• Suzlon S88 turbines weigh over 270 tonnes and stand 124 metres high to

the tip of the blade.
