2015 State Habitat Meeting We are excited to announce that this year’s meeting will take place at a new location, the Younes Conference Center in Kearney on February 7th! With upgraded facilities and new hotel rooms, we are hoping to increase the overall attendance and quality of this year’s meeting. Events will begin on Friday evening at the Hampton Inn with a free PF/QF social and the State Meeting will begin on Saturday morning and run throughout the day. As always, the annual Volunteer Appreciation Reception will follow the meeting on Saturday night. Chapter Registration We hope your chapter makes plans to attend this year’s State Habitat Meeting, with a great line-up of speakers you are sure to take away valuable information that will make your chapter more knowledgeable and efficient. Register you chapter’s attendees and make your room reservations by January 17th for the special discount. Chapter Challenge All funds raised through the Chapter Challenge will help underwrite the many costs associated with the 2015 State Habitat Meeting. This is the largest habitat meeting in Nebraska and we need every chapter’s support to make it another huge success. Chapters who make a cash contribution of at least $250 to the Chapter Challenge will receive a chance to win a Browning Silver 12 gauge shotgun. In addition to a cash donation, we also need some unique items for our silent auction on Saturday evening. We are looking for unique art work, hunting trips, fishing trips, and sculptures. If you have an item or two your willing to donate, please contact Jerry or Colby. Food Plot Seed Orders Please email all food plot orders to me no later than January 17th to receive special pricing and free shipping for orders delivered to the State Habitat Meeting. This is a great way to ensure more birds in your local area! Grass Seed & Legume Mix Orders Make sure to place your chapter seed orders for best legume mixes and any custom grass/forb mixtures with Amber by January 17th to receive special pricing for pickup at the State Habitat Meeting. Over/Under Gun of the Year Introducing the first ever PF/QF over/under of the year the Browning Cynergy. The most technologically advanced over/under shotgun available, is sure to get people and excited and make some money at your banquets. Note that it is 4-6 weeks for this gun to arrive.
