THE GP3 SERIES HAS BEEN DESIGNED AS THE PERFECT TRAINING GROUND FOR YOUNG DRIVERSTHE GP3 SERIES HAS BEEN DESIGNED AS THE PERFECT TRAINING GROUND FOR YOUNG DRIVERS.The best teams were chosen to take part, whilst the hottest young motor racing talents from across the globe filled their race seats. There was drama and excitement in abundance, and with the championship going down to the wire in five of the six years, we were treated to an epic fight for the crown. And despite our Series only running for six seasons, three of our GP3 champions have reached the impressive heights of Formula One™: Valtteri Bottas, Daniil Kvyat and Esteban Gutiérrez. TheSerieshasbeendesignedtomakeittheperfectdrivertrainingground,notonlyforGP2,butalsoforFormulaOne™.2016seestheintroductionofthethirdgenerationcar.TheGP3/16hasabrandnewMecachromebespokedesignengine,revisedaerodynamicsandupdateselectronics.Usingthesamechassis,engineand tyre suppliers, our young drivers must showcase their skills both in speed and in managing tyres, just like they will have to do when they move up the motor sportladder.Withtworacesperweekend,reversegridsand24identicalcarsondisplay,theseriesneverfailstoenthralandentertain.
