The complete renovation of the comfort station will include ADA compliance of entrances, doors and bathrooms, new roof, new windows & doors, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, bathrooms, fixtures, walls, flooring, finishes, interior and exterior lighting, bluestone & asphalt pavements, new benches, picnic and game tables. MPE is responsible for performing all NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) required Special/ Progress Inspections including Special Inspection services for all masonry work, Firestop, Draftstop, and Fireblock Systems, Dampers Integral to the Building Envelope, HVAC and Service Water Heating Equipment, HVAC and Service Water Heating System Controls, Duct Plenum and piping insulation and sealing, Duct Leakage Testing, and Exterior Lighting Power and Final Inspection. These inspections were identified by the DOB at the time of Plan Approval, and also included Required Items for Permits and the final Sign-off prior to the DOB issuance of Certificate of Occupancy. MPE prepared and submitted all required Inspection Reports and prepared all preliminary and final DOB Technical Reports (TR’s) required for Final Sign-off.
