The Data Security System (DSS) ensures the
entire mine’s data set, in large multi-user
environments, is managed safely and
efficiently. The DSS is an open database
connectivity (ODBC) management tool that
controls the use of a single common data set,
accessed by MineSight® users. Every object
has a unique reference identifier and the DSS
controls the checking out (borrowing),
checking in (submitting), and ownership
authority of all data.

Benefits of MineSight® OperationsBenefits of MineSight® Operations
MineSight® Operations is the centerpiece of our strategy for
establishing MineSight® at operating mines.
MineSight® Operations is an ongoing process, since it will
continue to evolve at operating mines as new sources of
information must be linked to it.
Mintec will continue to expand MineSight® Operations through
application at existing sites.
