MTV RE:DEFINEMTV RE:DEFINE is a benefit art exhibition and auctionevent founded in 2011 by the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, The Goss-Michael Foundation and Future Tense. Since it’s inception the auction has raised over $4 million. In 2015 RE:DEFINE will present its biggest and best program to date and will also see us honor artist Michael Craig-Martin.

Proceeds Benefit:// MTV Staying Alive Foundation, a grassroots HIV and AIDS prevention and awareness charity which focuses on engaging, educating and empowering youth communities around the world

// Dallas Contemporary, a non-collecting art museum which presents new and challenging ideas from regional, national and international artists

RE:DEFINE differentiates itself through its tightly curated program and its commitment to promote fine art beyond niche collectors and into a broader worldwide audience.

MTV RE:DEFINEDEMOGRAPHICSAttendance: 350 – 450A cool and glamorous affair boasting a guest list of Dallas’ finest movers and shakers, including art collectors, financiers, entrepreneurs and sports and entertainment stars. Guests range from 25 – 55 years in age with the most prominent demographic being 35 – 45 years.

To date, MTV Staying Alive Foundation programming has reached 100% of the top 50 countries affected by HIV, and has awarded 429 grants in 63 countries around the world, distributing nearly $4.5 million to grassroots HIV prevention projects. The MTV Staying Alive Foundation is registered as a UK charity and as a 501c3 charitable organization in the US.
