NOVEDAD 2015 (LOMCE)
We present you the proposal for the subjects Music I and Music II in which we highlight:
TAll the units of the book begin with a competence chart in which the learning standards are linked with the abilities that they are going to work on along the unit. These standards are also organized in blocks: Performance and creation, Listening, Cultural and musical context, Music and technology.
The contents are structured in sections that incorporate numerous musical examples in order to make the learning of the subject easier and enjoyable. In order to achieve this goal, along the text there are multiple charts, diagrams, pictures and illustrations, as well as vocabulary sections, and complimentary information.
The methodology includes assignments by competences and projects, just as it is expressed in the proposal of exercises and activities in each unit, and in the final project of each book.
In order to reinforce the knowledge that they will acquire, numerous support, listening, creation and musical performance activities are suggested. The section called Challenge suggests a series of activities in order to put into practice the basic skills.
At the end of each unit there is a section that allows the students to check if they have acquired all the necessary knowledge, by using some evaluation indicators, which are gathered in a chart with four levels of performance.
The annexes provide the students with scores, diagrams, charts and fun activities in order to review the most relevant contents that they have worked on throughout the book.
The Final project allows the students to work with transversal and active methodologies that facilitate the participation and implication of the students. They also make it easier for them to acquire and use knowledge in real life situations. Besides, it is based on cooperative learning structures, because it is carried out continuously in teams along the course.
The book comes with two CDs with the listenings of all the examples that are proposed along the contents and activities.
