Long serving midday assistant hangs up her whistleThe staff and pupils at Woodfall Primar School said their farewells to Mrs Williams

who has been a midda assistant at the school for 37 ears. The children thanked her

for all the help she has given them, and in man cases even their parents, over the

ears. Mrs Williams said: Ive enjoed ever minute of it and the happiness I have

enjoed has come from the children.

the local charit Vision Support. The charit based in Chester is raising mone to open

Wirral Prostate Cancer Support Group and the Clatterbridge Cancer

Youth theatre group stage original play

Estuary walk for a good causeNESTON and District Christian Aid Committee is

organising its annual seven-mile Sponsored Walk

on Saturda 16th March.

The mone we raise will help the ver poorest

people, said Lnne Vaughan, secretar of the

committee.

Christian Aid works through local organisations, so

the dont waste mone on administration.

Walkers raised over 2,200 from the Sponsored

Walk in March 2012. you dont have to be a

Christian to join in the walk.

Walkers will set off from the United Reformed Church Hall, Parkgate Road, at

9am. The walk goes along the Wirral Wa, past Parkgate to the village of Gaton,

where refreshments will be served, then down to the Dee Estuar to walk along the

coastal footpath, re-joining the Wirral Wa at Backwood Hall. Hot soup and home-

made bread will be served at the URC Hall on return. This pleasant walk is mostl

at, and 6 miles in all. It can be muddy in places, but is suitable for all ages and

dogs.

Cheshire West and Chester Council will talk about the benets of home composting, showing
