This lively and informative show features kids conducting fascinating experiments, solving mind-bending puzzles, and performing magic tricks that can be recreated at home.

The show features two presenters, Jayla and Jayden, who use engaging animations to help them understand the principles of physics, chemistry and maths, which combine to make the tricks happen. They also introduce the kids to the latest advances and approaches in scientific research.

As our climate changes, the threat to people’s homes increases. Floods, fires and hurricanes can bring environmental catastrophe on a scale that houses were not built to withstand. Our homes are in the highest category when it comes to economic disaster loss, but whilst societies spend billions every year on disaster response, bailouts and recovery, little seems to be done to invest in building more resilient homes.
This film takes the viewer on a journey of destruction to find out whether today’s homes are ‘Built to Last’, featuring families in the US, the UK and the Philippines who are taking matters into their own hands, with the help of local and international non-profit organisations.

AFTER THE SIRENS
The suicide rate amongst First Responders, such as paramedics, in Canada has reached a crisis and continues to rise each year. Reports show that one in four will develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in the course of their career, but despite increased awareness around the disorder, there is still surprisingly little support for them.
Whilst more people are now aware of the condition, the old stigma still affects First Responders. This has left many desperate for solutions that keep their struggles in the dark, and lead them to some dangerous methods of coping. This documentary tells the stories of those on the frontlines of the crisis.
