News for Induction Programme

A three (3) weeks training programme on “Hydro Power Plant

Engineering” has been organized for probationary Assistant Directors of

CEA selected through UPSC Exam Year 2011 and 2012 at Hydro Power

Training Centre (HPTC) of NPTI at Nangal. As part of Induction

Programme, the Officers would be imparted training on construction and

O&M of Hydro Projects covering operational aspects on Hydro Simulator

along with site visits to various operational and under construction

Hydroelectric Projects.

Shri Major Singh, Chairperson, CEA inaugurated the training program

on 6th July 2015. Shri M.S. Khural, Engineer-in-Chief, BBMB, Shri A.K.

Bali, Chief Engineer, Bhakhra Dam, BBMB, Shri M.R. Chaubey, HoI,

HPTC and Shri Surata Ram, Director(HRD), CEA also addressed the young

engineers on this occasion.
