GIRL’S GO EXTREME PROGRAM YEAR 7
This week the Girls Go Extreme Group participated in a session based around understanding Body Image and
Fashion.
The group spent time looking through modern day magazines aimed towards young teens and developed an
understanding of how models are photo shopped.
They also learnt how much images are digitally manipulated when producing the images that are then published.
The group watched a video which also showed
the ways in which images are enhanced and
manipulated.
The girls discussed positive eating and positive
body image. Afterwards they were involved in a
mock fashion parade and were asked to create
an outfit from cellophane for the parade.
I hope you will agree our Year 7 Girls Group
are stunning !
Next week the group is off to Melbourne for an
Orienteering Leadership Challenge.
