Consejos para el éxito

Dormir Bien. Dormir bien durante toda la noche recarga su cerebro. Para obtener buenos grados se

nececita dormir de 9-11 horas durante la noche para sentirse bien para estar alertas, relajados y man-

tener la calma.

Comer Bien. Empezar el día con un buen desayuno nutritivo, comer comida sana que le dé energía,

como granos enteros y frutas. Comer bien ayuda a sus hijos a concentrarse mejor.

No Preocuparse. No tener preocupaciones ayuda a sus hijos a no estar estresados, anime a su hijo(a) a

hacer su mejor esfuerzo, recuerde siempre apoyarlo en sus esfuerzos.

Estar Feliz. Mande a su hijo(a) a la escuela con una actitud positiva, recuérdele que él/ella tiene ha-

bilidades, recuérdele que necesita estar relajado/a y estar tranquilo/a. Por último sea la alentadora

más grande para su hijo(a).

This is the month in which your son/daughter demonstrates what he/she has learned this year. The Arizona state test, AZMerit takes place from April 2nd – 8th. Students’ attendance and punctuality is required, as well as having a very good rest the previous night. Students must come clean and motivated to do their best. We ask that you have a conver-sation with them about why this test is important. Help them set a goal for it. Please take a frequent look into Power School to keep yourself informed about your child’s academic progress. We highly recommend you keep in touch with the class representatives for the upcoming school and level’s events.

Este es el mes en el cual su hijo/a demuestra lo que ha aprendido este año. El examen del estado de Arizona AZMerit será del 2 al 8 de abril. La puntual asistencia de los estudiantes es requerida, así como asegurar que su hijo/a haya tenido un buen descanso la noche previa. Thank you to all our parents for attending our conferences. Maintaining communication is key to helping your child grow and succeed at reaching and surpassing our level benchmarks. We are excited to inform you we will be going to Camp Cooper on April 16th for a full day exploration. We will be learning about our local environment and why we should cele-brate and protect the Earth. We will be working with an arts organization called Raíces Taller to connect art and nature. The cost for the exploration is $8. We are asking that parents pay $5, and our level will pay the remaining $3. We haven’t for-gotten about our exploration to the Santa Cruz River we will announce the new date as soon as we have it confirmed. Gracias a todos los padres que asistieron a las conferencias. Mantener la comunicación es la llave para ayudar a sus hijos a crecer y tener éxito en sus niveles académicos. Estamos emocionadas de informarles que iremos a Camp Cooper el día 16 de abril para nuestra exploración. April is here! We are so excited to begin this new month full of fun learning experiences! We will be having different activities and projects during this month more information will be sent soon in your child’s homework folder. This is the last quarter of the school year; let’s continue working together to make sure our kindergarten scholars reach their highest potential. We will continue with tutoring for those students that need a little extra help so that we can sup-port them as much as we can. Please continue reading with your child everyday and helping them with homework. This month is all about learning and growth. Thank you once again for everything that you do for your child’s educa-tion and for choosing the best school for them. ¡Ya llegó abril! April brings the beginning of portfolio and testing season for Level IV. For students, this means a chance to prove that they have grown as students, increased their academic knowledge, and can apply time management skills. Doing well on AZMerit and Portfolio will open doors for students be-cause both measures serve as proof that students have mastered the knowledge and skills that are appropriate for their grade level. Please encourage your Level IV student to do the very best they can on AZMerit and their Portfolio. Abril trae consigo el comienzo de la temporada de portafolio y pruebas (AZMerit) para el Nivel IV. Para los estudiantes, ésto significa una oportunidad para demostrar que han crecido y han aumen-tado su conocimiento académico y han aprendido a administrar su tiempo efectivamente de su tiempo. Demostrar un buen desempeño en AZMerit y portafolio les abrirá las puertas porque am-bas medidas sirven como prueba de que los estudiantes han dominado el conocimiento y las ha-bilidades que son apropiadas para su nivel educativo. Dear Level III parents, Quarter three has come to an end and we know students will do their best to accomplish their benchmarks! This first week of April we are having our AzMerit tests! Have a conversation with your son/ daughter about the im-portance of these exams, since they show what they have learned in the past quarters. Please have your child on time. th. at 3:30 p.m. to inform you about
