NEWSLETTER NEW ECOLINE

As you already know our NEW ECOLINE reciprocating compressors are available for order and will be delivered

from 2 April on. Thanks to numerous optimizations the NEW ECOLINE series offers higher COP and wider

Application envelop combined with low oil carryover rate and low pulsations, but there are also some changes

that should be considered:

1. The ECOLINE and .2 generation compressors are no longer available and will be replaced with NEW

ECOLINE SERIES (Tables 1 and 2 at the end of this newsletter).

2. The NEW ECOLINE compressors are backward compatible with ECOLINE and .2 generation

compressors for existing installations by leaving the old valves on the pipes. Depending on

compressor type minor dimension changes in housing are possible (please check new drawings in

BITZER Selection Software).

3. ECOLINE reciprocating compressors are replaced by NEW ECOLINE compressors with motor 3 (can

be used with other refrigerants too)

4. Due to motor optimizations locked rotor amps might change from existing model to NEW ECOLINE

(please refer to BITZER Selection Software for detailed information)

5. Higher operating pressure: 32 Bar (operating pressure for C8 compressors stays at 28 Bar)

6. Wider Application ranges for all refrigerants and an additional motor size for R134A:

8. There are some minor changes in the housing of the new compressors; detailed drawings can be

found in our selection software. Small overview about some of them is shown below:
