2020 WEEK 1-4 MATCH REPORT

FACTION CAPTAINS - Congratulations to our 2020 Faction Captains:

Blue: Secondary- Harlan Auld & James Weckert, Primary Sophie Beard & Cameron Van Blitterswyk.

Yellow: Secondary- Jessee Normington & Cameron Chittock, Primary- Cole Fewster & Deryl Tapiru.

Green: Secondary- Alara Letchford & Eden Gomersall & Primary- Harrison George & Tye Gresele.

We are very excited about the opportunity and cannot wait to get stuck in about it!

COUNTRY WEEK BASKETBALL

Over the past couple of weekends, we have had some Gingin students participate in the 2020 Country Basketball

Championships. Great effort by the following participating students: Jordan Smith, James Weckert, Griffin Groves,

Eden Gomersall, Brock Brinkworth, Beau Wiltshire, Riley Jacklin, Shay Bogan, Lincoln Van Blitterswyk, Jaxon

Kabelka and Bella Gomersall.

NEW SPORT OBSESSION- BENCHBALL

2 teams, 2 benches, 16 dodgeballs, no outs, 7 sitting on a

bench to win! IT IS THE BEST! Students, keep an eye and an

ear out for the Gingin Benchball Championships.

LUNCH TIME SPORT

The Year 7 – 10 Lunchtime Softball games will be held in

Week 8 and 9 of Term 1.

DEVO GET’S REVENGE

After losing the 2018/19 Westbowl Championship game (Gridiron) and suffering a complete rupture of her MCL

(knee), 2 complete tears of ATL and AITFL (ankle) and a broken hand, Devo got revenge and WON THE 2019/20

WESTBOWL!!!

Devo also received the most valuable

player in her team at the Perth Blitz

awards night!

Canteen: The Canteen will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday this year.

The canteen will be offering the FULL MENU for lunch orders on the Faction Carnival day this Friday 28th February.

Staff and students can place orders via Quickcliq or the cash/bag system direct with the canteen, and all orders

will be delivered directly to Faction bays at the pool at lunchtime. Please clearly write Faction Colour in

comments or on bag. No orders will be accepted after 9.00am on Friday.

The canteen will be open as normal for students remaining at school. If anyone would like to volunteer their time

between 10.00am and 1.00pm to help prepare orders would be greatly appreciated! Please contact Sheena at

the canteen.

Uniform Shop: The Uniform Shop will be open on Thursday from 8.30am- 9.15 a.m.

Uniforms can still be ordered using paper order forms and left at reception or preferably via QuickCliq

Ms Foxon has some spaces for new students on Tuesday 3.30 and 4.00pm or Wednesday 3.00, 3.30 and 4.00pm.
