HEALTH AND SAFETY Visit this neighborhood for information on living healthier and safer. Test drive the Distracted Driving simulator, get a flu shot, have an oral cancer screening, or learn about bleeding control for emergencies. THE ARTS View intriguing art, make a craft or check out an instrument in the Instrument Petting Zoo. Guests will receive a free kazoo and are invited to participate in Kazoo-niversity at 2 pm near the stage. DISCOVERY ZONE Want to discover more about science and new technologies while having fun? Draw in the air with 3D Print Pens, race Pac-Man robots or watch how water changes landscapes in the augmented reality sandbox. This neighborhood will engage you in astonishing demonstrations and interactive activities. TRADITIONS Discover SBU’s amazing history through cultural activities and an exhibit of artifacts, photographs and film. Look for cultural presentations from our diverse campus, and a rubber duck race (secure your duck by 3 pm). Stop by the Frank Melville Jr. Memorial Library table to sign up for a special viewing of the original George Washington/Culper Spy Letter. FIND OUT IN 15 Hear SBU experts give captivating talks (only 15 minutes each) on a variety of subjects: Visit the Find Out In 15 tent for times and details on the speakers. While you’re there, check out the posters featuring undergraduate research. FOOD COURT Check out our food court with an array of campus and local community dining options. Visit the Farmers Market or discover the food entrepreneurs from our Business Incubator at Calverton. A variety of food items will be available for purchase.
