Levels: Championship (Experienced), Standard (Less experienced), Senior Novice (First me orienteers) Start mes: First starts from 10.30am RELAY CHAMPIONSHIPS – Saturday 20 July Map: Hautope Scale: 1:7,500 Orange, Yellow and White Locaon: 55 km South of Hasngs (approx. 45 min drive) Terrain: Open Farmland with small stands of forest and tree detail. Level: All runners run Standard grade Start mes: First starts will be at 10.00am Teams: “Official teams” are made up of 3 students, of the same gender and from the same school, who are eligible to compete in the class. EMBARGOTwo areas are embargoed for the NISS Orienteering Championships 2019 to be held in

Hawke’s Bay 18-20 July 2019.

Sprint Championship:

Competitors and other persons, who, through knowledge of the terrain, may influence the results of the competition, are permitted to access the embargoed area (with public access) until further notice. However, use of orienteering maps, orienteering training of all kinds and route choice testing is not allowed in the area. The only exception is for those competitors who may live, work or study within the area covered by the map for running training only while going about their normal daily activity to and from their place of work or residence. From 20 March 2019 until the start of the sprint on Thursday 18 July 2019 the above embargo conditions apply to the area defined by: Te Aute College School Grounds.

Individual Long and Relay Championships:

From 20 March 2019 until the start of the long course on Friday 19 July 2019 the area covered by the map known as Hautope - the map borders Hautope Road and Mangarara Stream. All farmland along Hautope Road and Hautope Branch Road is embargoed: use of orienteering maps, running training of all kinds and route choice testing is not allowed in the area.
