In these times, help us to reach out to one another and to look to the community that You have created in us. Help us to restore one another’s faith by our faithfulness to Your ways of love and compassion, healing and forgiveness. Call us out of the darkness of doubt and help us to lean on each other for hope and perseverance. God of our ancestors, wandering Arameans named Abraham and Sarah: guide us on this journey of faith. In times of doubt, bring faithful people to us to encourage us. Help us to encourage others. LITERARY BOOK CLUB: Please join us today to discuss the autobiography of Debbie Morgan who played Angie for 30 years on the soap opera All My Children. The Monkey on My Back reveals her compelling family history of abuse and how Debbie overcame it. TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY: We are studying the Book of Acts on Tuesday mornings. This book is the first written history of the Christian church. The life of the early church is recorded: introduction to the beginning of the church, the church in Jerusalem, the church scattered into Palestine and Syria and the church advancing to the end of the earth. Please join us.

INTERPRETATION AND STEWARDSHIP (GGC) Thanks to all members who donated to the annual mission giving of, "ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING (OGHOS) on Palm and Easter Sunday. It is our first mission fund raiser for 2016 and we are still accepting donation/s, so please feel free to donate today. The totals will be posted in the near future. Also, we are in the second quarter of 2016 and hoping for the best... Remember to give generously.

BUILDINGS & GROUNDS COMMITTEE invites all committees, organization, and groups to participant in a church wide cleanup on Saturday, April 23rd between 8 am and 3 pm. Buildings and Grounds will furnish a large roll-off dumpster and two (2) trash carts for convenient disposal of smaller items. The dumpster and trash carts will be delivered on the 22nd and everything will be hauled away on the 25th. Join us in the disposal of unused, obsolete and damaged furniture, equipment and other unwanted items. Now is the time to clean up and renew our church facilities. Session Committees and others will be asked to support this effort. Look for specific instructions in your church mail box.

THE SOCIAL CONCERNS COMMITTEE needs you NEPC! The Social Concerns Committee is establishing a donation drive for several selected charities. Each month, the committee will choose an item(s) of particular need and give the accumulated items to local organizations in need. The item(s) selected for April 2016 distribution are washcloths and soap. A donation box will be placed in a specified area of the church. All donated items specifically designated for the month are welcome. Thank you.

THE SESSION OF NORTHEASTERN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH calls for a meeting of the congregation on Sunday, April 24th, following worship. The purpose of the meeting is to receive and act upon a report of the Nominating Committee to fill current vacancies on the session. Updated information will also be shared regarding the status of negotiation with the Stoddard Adult Care program.
