Anne Lindberg’s subtle drawings and installations complicate viewer perceptions of space and place. Her graphite drawings of thousands of parallel lines appear to vibrate on paper, while her room-sized thread installations provide layers of shifting color, subtle lighting, and shadow.
Andrew Rogers Contemporary Geoglyphs
through August 26
Australian Andrew Rogers’ giant contemporary geoglyphs are located around the world. View images of these huge symbols drawn on the earth with stones through a new archive series of aerial photographs.
Gregory Euclide Nature Out Therethrough September 2
Gregory Euclide’s intricately crafted sculptural works explore the tension between idealized, picturesque views of landscapes and actual experiences of being in nature.

Southwest Pottery From Anasazi to ZuniMay 5 – September 9
See numerous pieces of Southwestern pottery made by Native American tribal groups from the Hopi, Cochiti, Maricopa, Santa Clara, and Zuni pueblos.
All the objects in this exhibition are from the collection of Brenda and John Blom.
Gail Wight HydraphiliaApril 21 – August 26
Probing the intersection of art and science, artist Gail Wight found great beauty in physarum polycephalum, otherwise known as slime mold. Wight recorded over 100 hours of activity as the organisms developed on brilliantly tinted agar plates in this time-lapse video.
BRDI and BRAF PresentCandy Chang | Before I DieThursday, May 17 / 6pm
In collaboration with the Black Rock Arts Foundation and the Black Rock Design Institute, the Museum welcomes artist, designer, urban planner, and wanderer Candy Chang as she presents her project Before I Die. Recognized as a leader in developing new strategies for the design of our cities, Chang will also discuss her installation of Before I Die in Reno. Networking and social hour with beer provided by Silver Peak Brewery at 5pm. Talk follows at 6pm. $10 / $8 MUSEUM MEMBERS
