The Shepherds Bugle is the voice of Shepherds Without Borders Lighthouse

Ministries; which comes out once monthly to highlight messages, news,

visions, projects, strength & weakness of the United Body of the Kingdom of

God. Inspired Shepherds come together monthly to write message etc for the

community of God chosen.

Every shepherd chosen, charged, and called by God (YHWH) to care for His

flocks is officially a member. Shepherds serve as an ambassadors of the

Kingdom of God , advocates for petitioning God for mankind, administrators

for the handling and distributing the truth of God's Word and they need a

watch tower on the hilltop to help them not to crash against the stones of

temptations placed in their path by the Devil.

This magazine is the shepherds’ consultant for wisdom and direction when it

comes to how the work of the Kingdom of God is being carried out in different

places around the world. It is also a confronter of the evil practices that are

carried out in the name of the kingdom of God. It is no respecter of any

particular doctrine, tradition, color, language, social status, or geographical

locations. It is the voice for the united kingdom of God's body of workers in

the vineyard here on earth.

This magazine is the discussion leader of any topic concerning the kingdom of

God and the warfare of God's people. Here you will see and post the work you

do for the kingdom; however it should be clear that every work you see here

is the responsibility/views of the writer who placed it there and not always

necessarily the views of everyone. It is a medium to serve as an encourager

for the shepherds around the world who are striving to get the truth of God's

Word out even at a risk to their own families and lives. As a spotlight, we

The following corporate prophetic word was given by Eileen Fisher on

October 11, 2011 during her weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit

meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado:

The Lord would say, "In My Word, have I not said I have commanded angels

to be in charge over thee lest you hit your foot against a stone? I know the

stone you are hitting with your foot. I know those things in your life that you

are tripping over. I know those people in your life that seem to block the path

where you desire, where you want your heart to walk.

"Remember there was a stone that tried to hold Me in the grave. But I came

forth. Remember, the same Spirit that raised Me from the dead will quicken

life into your mortal bodies. Be aware of My Spirit. Be aware of My angels. Be

aware you too are called to minister grace, hope, healing and love. Man may

call, but God equips, God calls, God anoints.

"I am pouring oil upon you right now – the oil to anoint you. I was anointed

for burial; I anoint you to rise up. Place your hands in front. Surrender,

submit. Let My oil come into your hands. Let My oil come into your

understanding to where those things that have been causing you to toss to and

fro in torment can slip away because of the oil of My anointing. Let those

things in your hands that have brought torment slip out of your hands because

I am anointing them with the presence of My Spirit.

"Let your mouth be anointed with the sweetness of worship and praise so you

can come before the throne of grace in time of trouble and I will answer you.

Learn to minister with My angels, but above all, learn to minister with My

Holy Spirit. He will teach you. He will lead you. He will guide you. He will

confirm. He will direct. He will assign. Do not let the favor of man determine

the call. Let the anointing of the Spirit of God complete the call. I have bid you

to come into My Spirit, to be filled with My Spirit, to raise you up and to train

you by My Spirit.

"My Spirit teaches the simple and the great. My Spirit is called to be your

Teacher. As He teaches you, He will train you. He will equip you to listen to

the way that He will direct you to go. He will train you to stand strong and to

rest when He says, 'Come aside.' He will equip you to recognize where He is

going, for I am raising up a militant army – one of radical love that loves the

brokenhearted, that casts down judgment, but comes forth with mercy and

goodness but with truth," says the Lord your God.

"The world is crying for a Savior. Know that the Savior of the Lord your God

is about to visit fresh His people once again," says the Lord.

OH NO YOU DIDN'T! {THE SPIRIT OF OFFENSE}.... PLEASE READ BECAUSE

The Lord placed this message upon my heart not only due to my own personal

experiences, but those of many others! This is a message that many of us

need to hear and take heed to! What is this message about? THE SPIRIT OF

OFFENSE! This 'spirit' is running rampant not only among believers, but

unbelievers alike! This 'demon' of satan's knows well that through division

and discord, there is no power. The Spirit of God cannot move FREELY through

us (believers) where this is strife! This lack of power in our lives, renders us

ineffective witnesses for Jesus Christ!

OFFENSE is the main reason why many people are leaving their churches,

many marriages are torn apart, why children run away from home; it is the

main reason why people leave their jobs, friendships are ruined, murders are

committed, etc. etc. etc....

OFFENSE... Oh how the enemy knows exactly what is needed to set us off! He

and his 'imps' have studied us long enough to know our target areas, or areas

of weakness and then comes in for the kill! Let's look at some things that may

offend us (now of course some of these things can really hurt us and rightfully

so, but it's how we deal with the offense that makes all the difference):

Someone looks at you the 'wrong' way...

Someone says something to you that you don't like (angers you or hurts your

feelings)...

Someone forgets your birthday....

Someone forgets to or just doesn't call you.....

Someone cancels a 'date' with you.....

Someone forgets to thank you for something or are just being inconsiderate...

You feel someone is ignoring you (when in essence they may be going through

some things themselves!)......

You are overlooked for a raise or other opportunity and someone you feel is

'less deserving' gets it instead...

Gossip...affairs...insecurities...etc...These all stem from offenses or can be

caused by offenses...

But today the Spirit is taking us deeper. He is showing us the ROOT cause of

offense: PRIDE!

{Proverbs 16:18} (Amplified Bible)

8Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Pride ALWAYS causes us to focus on SELF! I don't care how we may try to

justify it! Pride causes us to dwell on how someone had the 'nerve' to say this

or that to ME....They did this or that to ME...It causes us to ask, "Who do they

think they are to treat ME this way?" "How could they have done this to ME?"

"I'M tired of putting up with this mess from people!" "Maybe I did something

wrong?!" (Still a focus on SELF).... (Romans 12:3, Galatians 6:4, Proverbs

3:5,7, 1 Peter 5:6)

NO OFFENSE, BUT WHO ARE YOU?!!!! I'm talking to ME too now... I often

have to remind myself of all that Christ suffered, and He certainly did

NOTHING to deserve it! He in fact, took what I deserved, and what you

deserved (hell), and gave us instead that which we did NOT deserve(eternal

life and freedom from sin NOW)! Thank Him for His grace and mercy!

Now I'm not saying that every wrong done to us is something that we

'deserved' or brought upon ourselves! No way! But what I am saying is there

are times when we give others power over us by not letting go of an offense.

There are times when someone may not even be aware that they have

offended us! They go on about their lives, but we are being poisoned from the

inside out due to un-forgiveness, hurt and anger! We have to learn to, like

Jesus, be merciful and forgive those who done us wrong! (Before you say,

they don't deserve it... Remember we didn't deserve what JESUS gave us

either! Matthew 5:14-15) Sometimes being merciful to others may involve

going to the person who offended us to speak to them about the issue

(Matthew 5:23-24); and other times, it may be best to just let it go IF we can

move past it with no lingering negative effects...and if we know deep down

the person didn't MEAN to hurt us! But we should always go to God FIRST, to

see how and where He leads!

Bottom line: We have to learn just who we are in Christ, and to look to Him to

fulfill us, not man! "Man" can and will let us down at times, whether

intentionally or not, but God never will! Once we become so grounded and

deeply rooted in Christ, nothing else will move us! Be blessed!

4Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils

over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself

haughtily.

DIRECTLY so you will not be held guilty for their crimes.

then if he repents, forgive him. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day and

each time turns again and asks forgiveness, forgive him."

Proverbs 27:5-6 (NKJV), Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

The Kingdom is a country, not a religion, not any religion, not even

Christianity. How were you trained to be a Christian? What was your

cultural upbringing when it comes to learning God and knowing God?

Could you be a victim of religion?

Culture is so powerful that you actually become the culture that you associate

yourself with. Whatever group you become a part of is what you will have the

tendency to become. What denominational or non-denominational, or even

inter-denominational group are you a part of? When you gave your life to

Jesus did you join a Baptist or Methodist Church, a Presbyterian or Assembly

of God Church?

Did you become a part of a Pentecostal or Fundamental group? Whatever

religious group you aligned yourself with is what you became. Your belief

system is in large part impacted by how you learned God from the group you

joined yourself to.

There is no escaping it. There is nothing as powerful as culture. In large part

who you are, the way you think, how you act and what you do even spiritually,

has been greatly impacted by the dominate influences in your life.

Are you COGIC, PAW or Assemblies of God? Maybe you are Evangelical,

Conservative or Liberal. Whatever you are, in large part your theology is the

result of the religious culture to which you've aligned yourself and your

theology is the result of that culture.

Your belief system and experiences with God are directly impacted by your

commitment to the group that you've aligned yourself with. You may never

consider yourself religious but take a moment to reconsider.

I know you will say "God led me here" and you no doubt have probably had

great experiences with God and the people to whom you've aligned yourself

while in pursuit of God and spiritual growth. No one will ever be able to tell

you that you don't know God, and I totally agree.

But here is the challenge. While almost every group if they are truely

Christian at all will lay hold to the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,

He died on the cross for our sins and whosoever believes in Him will not

perish but have everlasting life, we must realize that having a fundamental

belief about Jesus and having the experience of being Born Again does not me

that we have really comprehended what God wants us to understand the most.

Tragically we become what we believe God is looking for, maybe have even

ordained, but sadly many are discovering that they could not be further from

the truth.

Let's talk about the Kingdom of God now. The Kingdom is a country. It is not

a religion, not even Christianity as we've known it. The Kingdom is God's

government here on earth among men. The Kingdom is God's will, His

dominion, authority and power that rules over all who submit themselves to

Him in all things.

COGIC, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian...doesn't really matter which group,

the question becomes, "are we being who God called us to be and do we really

understand the difference between Kingdom and religion.

Jesus said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness...." He

did not say seek a religion, not even Christianity. Now I know that by now you

think that we are just talking semantics here. That in reality Christianity is

just a term that identifies you as a follower of Jesus. Well here is the heart of

the matter.

To be a true follower of Jesus on His terms is to be totally removed from the

religious concepts that man has manufactured in his limited understanding.

So, now we come to God's concept of the Church. If you will admit it even you

have had enough of religion or perhaps not. In any case everyone of us should

want what Jesus wanted for us and requires of us regardless to the joys and/or

sorrows we may experience within whatever religious group to which we have

aligned ourselves.

Somebody say Kingdom! Jesus brought you a Kingdom, a country, a territory.

He brought you a government to which you were to yield and with that

government He came with a message, a message we have never been trained

to preach and therefore what religion became the Kingdom is not.

The Kingdom of God is God's sovereign, royal rule, dominion, authority and

the rule of God in your life moment to moment, day to day. The Kingdom of

God is God's action, His control in the life of the follower of Jesus. The

Kingdom of God is His will expressed through those who submit themselves to

Him. If we will admit it we would not do half of the things we do in the name

of God if we were to truly do what God has called for.

Religious culture is not Kingdom culture. Jesus came against the religious

system of the day and yet since the 2nd half of the second century until now

man has only rebuilt the very religious system Jesus came to do away with.

We think religious, act religious, and the greatest evidence of this fact is our

unwillingness, or perhaps even inability to change, even in the face of truth.

The Pharisees knew that what Jesus was saying was correct but it was easier

for them to oppose His right to say it than to repent and believe what He said.

Jesus said that His doctrine was not His own but the Father's. Our doctrines

about Jesus are our own in many respects, but not the Father's.

We have developed an unhealthy mix of mysticism, old testament realities and

in so many ways outright Catholic practices that even God I believe is no

longer winking at our foolishness but is command all men (religious

mankind) to repent.

Jesus came with a Kingdom not a religion. Today's Apostles, Prophets,

Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers we want to believe mean well, but in this

hour everyone of us that name the name of the Lord are going to have to

rethink and repent of what we've become and purpose to be like a child in

matters concerning the King and the Kingdom of God if we ever have hope of

truly living according to God's plan and purpose according to the scriptures.

Study the Kingdom of God. Study God's Word again with new eyes. Just go to

the Father like a child and ask Him to teach you the Kingdom. Religion

taught you about Jesus and used scripture to do it. Let the Holy Spirit teach

you the Kingdom. You see God is not obligated to tell you what you don't want

to know.

Let the power of the Holy Spirit transform you from being a religious servant

to being the son/daughter He has called you to be. You are a nation of Kings

and Priests. You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, citizens of the Kingdom

who are called to represent God's government to the nations of the world as a

witness. Rethink your purpose, rediscover your divine destiny, by

rediscovering the Kingdom the devil almost successfully hid from the Church.

Yes its going to be a struggle. You are in the fight of your life. The

battleground is your mind and the devil is putting up stiff opposition. He

knows that if you ever understand the Kingdom of God on God's terms, then

the enemy will have been rendered powerless to manipulate you again,

especially not through religion.

Study these words and don't operate in self deception. Don't make pretend you

know these truths if you haven't taken the time to study them on God's terms.

Apply yourself to this study. Search these words from the scriptures.

Seek (Matt. 6:33)

First (Micah 4:8)

Kingdom (Matt. 3-24)

Dominion (Genesis 1:26-28; Daniel 2-7)

Rule

Reign (1 Peter 2:9)

Authority (Matt. 28; Luke 10)

Royal (James 2:8)

Law

Commandment

Government (Isaiah 9)

Righteousness (Rom. 14:17)

Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9)

King

These words when studied in the context of the verses that contain them, will

suddenly open up to you a whole new understanding of what Jesus came to do

in the earth. You may even identify words and verses not identified here. Go

for it! God's Holy Spirit is waiting to lead you and guide you into all truth.

When a government comes to take over a people in a territory the first thing

that invading governmment will do is strip you of your old identity and culture

and will then seek to work within you a new culture and identity.

The Kingdom of God is not a democracy. It is not a government of individual

thoughts and ideas. The Kingdom of God is the manifestation of God's

thoughts, His ideas expressed throughout history as to His plan and purpose

for man.

When God issues a commandment it becomes law. You may have free will but

your will is to be freely expressed in choosing God's ways over your own. So

do this fascinating word stiudy and approach it as a child. If you approach

this study academically you are going to miss the whole point. When Jesus

said seek first the Kingdom of God He didn't want you to throw your brain

away...however, you cannot successfully seek first the Kingdom of God on

Jesus terms unless you do it as a child. Have great fun with your study. You

will be amazed at the life transformation that takes place.

Friend, the religion we became is not the citizen He (God) has called us to

become. Its going to take some serious effort to undo what the slave master of

religion has done but God is faithful. You prayed for direction. You asked God

to give you understanding. You praised and worshipped God and fasted and

even shut in wanting to get into the presence of God and know Him the way

He wants to be known.

Don't miss your visitation bound by self-deception. Now is the time to press

into the revelation of the Kingdom. Its been here for more than 2,000 years.

Jesus did not bring you a religion, not even Christianity. Jesus brought to you

a Kingdom, a government and restored to you your personal dominion. Read

the Bible for yourself. Don't side with those bound by religion. Many times

your worse instructors are the professors and their commentaries. Get to know

Jesus again. God took the greatest message in the world and made it so that

you would have to learn from the greatest messenger in the world, Jesus. So

allow the Holy Spirit to give you understanding in these matters. Kingdom

First!

The Purpose of the Church: BY BISHOP DERRICK DAY

The reason why many "churches” do not have the nature of The Church is

because there is a widespread lack of understanding of what The Church

really is.

First of all, The Church is not a building, a charter, or a gathering of folks.

The Church is a living, spiritual and natural being comprised of many

members that carry out vital functions.

Contrary to popular belief and contemporary manifestation, The Church is

not a "country club” for the saints or the museum of the "frozen chosen.”

When you become a member of The Church, you are not simply a number,

you are grafted in, as a finger to a hand. You are part of a glorious body. This

body nourishes each member and the Head, Jesus, gives each member

instructions for the work to be performed.

While I’m here, let me hang my hat for a minute…Each member has a

UNIQUE function. All of us are not called to preach, just like every cell in the

body is not called to be the eye. Imagine a body full of eyes…that is a freak of

nature! Speaking of the ministry, not everyone is called to preach the same

message or even to preach in the same manner. Each of us are fearfully and

wonderfully designed — individually and expressly — by the Hand of God

with a unique purpose to carry out equally unique assignments.

The Greek word for "Church” in Matthew 16:18 is "ekklesia.” It is a word

meaning "called out assembly.” More to the point, it is a GOVERNMENTAL,

not a RELIGIOUS word! Many folks dont know this, but the Government of

Rome at the time of Jesus’ earthly ministry called their upper legislative

assembly the Ekklesia. Furthermore, the ancient city-state of Athens called its

legislative body Ekklesia.

Now put this in context…When Jesus said, "upon this rock (the truth spoken

by Peter) I will build my Ekklesia; and the gates of hell will not prevail against

it, He was saying that upon the truth that He is the Christ, the Son of the

Living God, He will establish His everlasting government. This is what was

prophesied in Isaiah 9:6.

Jesus did not come to establish another religion; the world had (and has)

enough of them. What He came to re-establish was the governmental order

that was ordained from the foundation of time!

That said, The Church is not about religion. The Church is the point where

God connects with man through Christ. It is God’s earthly government, duly

deputized and empowered to have dominion over the earth!

Church should be an ER for the wounded, a kitchen for the hungry, and a

sanctuary for the besieged. It should be the point where God’s Heavenly

Government is dispensed on the earth. It should be the place where the lost

can come to catch the revelation of a loving Father, who wants to reconcile

them to Himself and loved them so much that He gave His very best in the

Person of His Only Begotten Son!

Exposed Be Careful Who you Hang Around JEFF GOODALL

Have you ever had someone whom you trusted in the church

say to you, be careful who you hang with? I did, and while the conversation

was going on, I felt angry with a bad taste in my mouth. Here is the

conversation, minus the names of the others involved:

(1st party); Hey brother im not gona tell u who to hang around,but im not so

sure (2nd party) best interest is the body of Christ, maybe you see diff,but god

gave me a word, he says he knows theres things wrong with his church but

just show love.If you came into church showing Gods love it would break

more than u think, (2nd party) never called me back because he knows i see

through things,you can do as u like your older than me,but time is now to

worship and show Gods love,Even if people hate me if i show love im more

like jesus is it easy no,I care for your soul brother, love what ever u do

(My response); I was helping (2nd party) move his freezer, I wasn't aware

that just helping someone constituted hanging out with them

(1st party); Dont take me wrong,i wasnt saying that just a friend that cares for

you i dont assume things,love ya brother jeff

(my response); I do worship God, but I don't need to be in church to do that

and I do love, I'm not picky fussy who I love, I love all and if not jumping

through hoops is not showing love, then people really need to get an

understanding of what God says love is and if being in service is some

prerequisite, is it more noble to obey God or man? I'm doing what I'm

supposed to be doing, if people don't like that, no skin off my teeth as long as

God is pleased with me

(1st party); I guess if theres love you, will know them by their fruit,well we are

there if u need us,

This conversation like I said previously angered me with a bad taste in my

mouth, I am the first to beat myself up with things I don’t understand, and in

this case, I didn’t understand my anger. I went to the Lord and asked Him to

remove this anger from me, I didn’t want it, when the anger didn’t leave, I

asked God for understanding, this is what He spoke and showed to me. Jesus

was accused of hanging out with sinners and whores, they virtually asked Him

if He knew who He was hanging out with. I will not say this is what we refer

to as a righteous anger, but at the same time, I will not deny it. The following

is taken from the first comment of the (1st party);and highlighted differently:

he says he knows theres things wrong with his church but just show love.If

you came into church showing Gods love it would break more than u think,

This statement also added to my anger, generally speaking, people reflect

those who influence them and with me having a knowledge of the leadership,

this is how this came across to me. This is God’s church and though there are

frailties and failings in this church, this is the only right church. The Apostle

Paul said; be like me as I am like Christ, to many today who are in the pulpit

are under some misguided understanding as to the meaning of this statement.

Paul spent much time in the presence of the Lord in order to gain a true and

greater understanding of what God wanted expressed to man. Paul was not

saying, be a disciple of me, but rather, spend time with God, be His disciple,

learn from Him through His Holy Spirit, who will teach you truth and no lie.

The (2nd party) that I was helping, when going into the church, was very

poorly received by the Pastor of the church, as if to say to the (2nd party) you

are a traitor. The (2nd party) had left the church, he like myself got fed up

with teachings of God being constantly and consistantly laced with untruths

and self understandings. The (2nd party), like myself, has been judged

unrighteously, and the above conversation shows the truth of this.

Though it is true, we do need to be careful who we hang with, we are to

consider what God said; preach the gospel to every living creature and restore

those who have walked away. The (2nd party) never walked away from God,

just went where truth is taught. How quick we judge and all for what we don’t

understand. Leadership and man judged the (2nd party) for leaving the fold

for truth, while me they judge for being some form of trouble maker, because I

choose to obey God and not man.

Let us all learn not to be so quick to accuse or judge, God does not have to

inform anyone else of what He tells other individuals to do, nor does He have

to ask anyone’s permission. As long as He has the authority to bypass human

thinking, then we don’t know what God is doing with or in someone else’s life,

and we for doggone sure don’t have a right to accuse or judge. Like Paul

implied with his words, be a God seeker and pleaser, rather than leaning to

your understanding and watch what the Lord will do. As far as watch who

you hang with, let God be your guide. God bless you!

WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH 57 CENTS: BY BABSIE VAN DER BERG

A little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away

because it was 'too crowded.'

'I can't go to Sunday School,' she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by. Seeing

her shabby, unkempt appearance, the pastor guessed the reason and, taking

her by the hand, took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday

school class. The child was so happy that they found room for her, and she

went to bed that night thinking of the children who have no place to worship

Jesus. Some two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor tenement

buildings. Her parents called for the kindhearted pastor who had befriended

their daughter to handle the final arrangements. As her poor little body was

being moved, a worn and crumpled red purse was found which seemed to have

been rummaged from some trash dump. Inside was found 57 cents and a note,

scribbled in childish handwriting, which read: 'This is to help build the little

church bigger so more children can go to Sunday School.' For two years she

had saved for this offering of love. When the pastor tearfully read that note, he

knew instantly what he would do. Carrying this note and the cracked, red

pocketbook to the pulpit, he told the story of her unselfish love and devotion.

He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise enough money for the larger

building. But the story does not end t here.... A newspaper learned of the story

and published It. It was read by a wealthy realtor who offered them a parcel of

land worth many thousands. When told that the church could not pay so

much, he offered to sell it to the little church for 57 cents. Church members

made large donations. Checks came from far and wide.. Within five years the

little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00--a huge sum for that time (near

the turn of the century). Her unselfish love had paid large dividends.

When you are in the city of Philadelphia, look up Temple Baptist Church,

with a seating capacity of 3,300. And be sure to visit Temple University, where

thousands of students are educated.

Have a look, too, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and at a Sunday School

building which houses hundreds of beautiful children, built so that no child in

the area will ever need to be left outside during Sunday school time. In one of

the rooms of this building may be seen the picture of the sweet face of the little

girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such remarkable history.

Alongside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor, Dr. Russell H. Conwell, author

of the book, 'Acres of Diamonds'. This is a true story, which goes to show

WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH 57 CENTS.

...Unconditional Love........

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having

fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.

"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd

like to bring home with me"

..."Sure,"they replied,"we'd love to meet him.""There's something you should

know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped

on a land mine and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I

want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."

"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us.""Son,"said the father,"you

don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a

terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let

something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home

and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more

from him. A few a days later, however, they received a call from the San

Francisco police.

Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police

believed it was suicide.

The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city

morgue to identify the body of their son.

They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they

didn't know.

Their son had only one hand and one leg♥

The Source of Faith: By David M. McNabb

It has been said that "Seeing is believing." Another common attitude is:

"Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see." Long

before modern computer enhanced imaging, sorcerers, wizards and magicians

were proving that your eyes are easily deceived.

In The Meaning of Faith, we saw that faith - true faith - is in the faithful God

alone, and in His Son Jesus Christ. All other religions, with their false gods

and false doctrines, are inherently faithless: empty belief systems with no

hope.

What, then, is the source of the faith that is in God through Christ Jesus? Is it

sight? Certainly, there are many people who saw the Lord during the course of

His brief ministry. In addition to the disciples who followed Him faithfully,

multitudes beheld Him, and were healed, fed, and liberated from demonic

bondage. Even after His death, we are given eye-witness accounts of many

who saw the resurrected Lord; the twelve apostles, Saul of Tarsus, hundreds

of other men and women all testified that they saw Him with their own two

eyes.

How many times have you heard (or possibly even said), "If only I had lived in

the days of Jesus! I know I would have believed on Him. How wonderful

would that have been!"? Would you have believed? There were many who did

not. Why did some believe, while others rejected Him? The miracles of Jesus

were seen by all. Jesus said, "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of

the world" (John 9:5). He told His disciples, "Ye are the light of the world.

A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. ... Let your light so shine before

men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in

heaven" (Mt 5:14-16). Jesus, our great example, did not merely give

instructions to proclaim the Lord and His goodness openly, He lived it. As

with Paul, "These things were not done in a corner."

Yet, many did not believe. How is it possible that they would see the great

things done by God, through our Lord, and deny Him? Apparently, seeing

does NOT equal believing.

Have some believed because they saw? Certainly, but sight is not the source of

faith. Thomas gets all of the bad press for his failure to believe prior to seeing

the risen Lord. The term "Doubting Thomas" has become a byword. But what

of the other apostles? The Scripture says, that when the women returned from

the empty tomb and told the apostles what had happened, "their words seemed

to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. Then arose Peter, and ran

unto the sepulcher; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by

themselves, and departed wondering in himself at that which was come to

pass" (Luke 24:10-12). Even when Jesus appeared unto the eleven, "they

were affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit" (vss. 36-37). He

showed them His nail-scarred hands and feet, and "they yet believed not for

joy, and wondered" (vss. 40-41). Finally He ate before them, "and he said

unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with

you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses,

and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their

understanding, that they might understand the scriptures" (Luke 24:44-45).

It was not only Thomas, but all of the followers of Jesus that had trouble

believing that day. Even when they saw with their own eyes, they could not

believe. What caused them to believe? When did their faith appear? It was at

the word of the Lord! When they heard the words of Jesus, and the Scriptures,

then, and only then, was their faith established.

Jesus asked the disciples, "Whom say ye that I am?" Peter declared his faith,

saying, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered

and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath

not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 16:13-17).

Where did Peter and the other believers acquire this faith?

Surely they saw many signs and wonders performed before their eyes. Was

that enough to sustain them? Was that enough to prove that Jesus was truly

Christ?

Peter refers to that which his eyes beheld in 1 Peter 1:16-18. Speaking

particularly about the transfiguration of the Lord, Peter said, "For we have

not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the

power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his

majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there

came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in

whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard,

when we were with him in the holy mount" (2 Pet. 1:16-18). Peter, James and

John saw this wonderful event with their own natural eyes, but Peter did not

end there. He went on to say, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy;

whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark

place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this

first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the

prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God

spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2 Pet. 1:19-21).

The written word of God is more sure than any experience, any feeling, any

dream, any thought. The word of God is more sure, because those men who

penned it did so under the guidance of the Holy Ghost, writing what the Lord

said, not what they thought He meant. Because of its infallibility, the

Scriptures engender faith in the hearer. As Paul said in Romans 10:17, "So

then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Therefore, we

walk by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7).

Many modern translations have gone beyond simply rendering the text into

the more contemporary vernacular. They have altered the text, omitting some

phrases and completely changing the intended meaning of others. One in

particular has the alternate context of various verses at the bottom of nearly

every printed page. This effort in fact causes doubt rather than faith, because

if it could say this, or possibly that, then it is unreliable. The Lord our God is

one Lord! He does not change, for He is the same yesterday, and today, and

forever.

Paul found no evidence of any discrepancy in the Scriptures. Like its Author,

it has not even the shadow of turning! He said, "Let us labour therefore to

enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For

the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged

sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the

joints and marrow, andis a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart"

(Heb. 4:11-12). There should be no place for unbelief, for the word of God is

sure!

All throughout the Scriptures are examples of the faithfulness of Jehovah.

When Solomon blessed the congregation of Israel at the dedication of the

Temple, he said, "Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people

Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all

his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant" (1

Kings 8:56).

Thus it is with all Scripture. Jesus said confidently, "Heaven and earth shall

pass away, but my words shall not pass away" (Matt. 24:35). And again, "For

verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in

no wise pass from the law [the Old Testament], till all be fulfilled" (Matt.

5:18).

In Hebrews 11, we read of the great faith of the people of God throughout

history. God inspired the writers to record their faith, that we, too, might have

faith in God. As Paul said to the Romans, "For whatsoever things were

written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and

comfort of the scriptures might have hope" (Rom. 15:4).

Paul commended the saints at Colosse, and referred to the moment they

received their faith. "We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus

Christ, praying always for you, Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus,

and of the love which ye have to all the saints, For the hope which is laid up

for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the

gospel; Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth

fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of

God in truth" (Col 1:3-6).

The word of God is the only source of faith. God entrusted His word to the

children of Israel, because He knew that they would preserve it faithfully

throughout their generations. Even today, the scribes meticulously copy the

scrolls, checking and re-checking that every word, every letter, even every jot

and tittle are accounted for. This trait was one reason God chose Abraham.

"For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after

him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that

the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him" (Gen.

18:19).

The word of the Lord is THE source of faith, and the source of salvation. As

James said, "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness,

and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your

souls" (James 1:21). For this reason, the Lord does not tolerate its alteration.

Severe punishment is proclaimed in Rev. 22:18-19, "For I testify unto every

man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add

unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this

book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this

prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the

holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

Why such dire consequences? It is because God's word is the unique

instrument by which God has chosen to instill faith in the heart of all them

that will believe the report of the Lord.

Let us, therefore, hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for

He is faithful that promised;) being born again by the word of God which

liveth and abideth for ever, and having the hope of eternal life, which God,

that cannot lie, promised before the world began. Amen.

TEXT: 1Timothy 3:1-5

The high the position a leader assumes, the more exposed he is to dangers.

The spiritual leader especially is exposed to 3 main dangers in his/her ministry

work:

1. TIME: The pressure of work makes time very inadequate. He/She has a lot of

things, places and ministrations to make such that he needs God’s wisdom to be

able to do exactly what God wants him/her to do and to be able to fulfill his/her

ministry. He/She often works for long hours, with irregular closing time. Even,

a circular leader faces similar time temptation. He/She has to attend to

seminars, assignments, meetings and day-today office and business related

activities. Without proper management of time, he cannot achieve his goal

both in business and family life. In the books of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 time is

mentioned 29 times. No doubt, time management is essential to success in life

and ministry even in business. 1 Tim. 3:2 you must be careful not to develop

Messiah Complex. Ex. 18:13-18. You need to delegate responsibilities.

Otherwise, you and your family may suffer for it. 1 King 19:1-18.

2. TEMPERAMENT: This has to do with the nature of the leader. Any leader who

fails to control his temperament may develop bad temper as a result of time

and work pressure. Prov. 22:24-25, pro. 14:17.

3. TEMPTER: The devil surely is after the precious soul. He often tempts leaders

more with money, women and pride Matt. 4:1-11. The leader needs to work on

these avenues through which the enemy usually befalls mighty men.

There are negative result of success as we can see in the life of Elijah called

burn-out. He became so confused as a result of this phenomenon. Samson fell

by a woman while Demas fell because of love for this present world symbolizing

money and what money can buy. Finally, the bible says, be angry but sin not,

let not sun go down with your wrath. Eph. 4:26. All these may result in neglect

of self, family, and God through sin of pride. Eli was so busy; he could not

communicate with his spouse or children 1 Sam. 2:22-25.

"Let he who thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall” 1 COR. 10:12.

DEVELOP YOUR FAMILY BASE

Leaders must develop their family base for the following reasons:

1. MANAGE – 1 Tim. 3:5 If any man does not know how to rule his own

house, how shall he take care of the church of God”.

First and foremost, you are the priest at home before ministry. Gen. 18:19, 1

Tim. 3:4.

2. CARE – 1 Tim. 5:8 If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for

his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

The leader must be a channel of blessing to his family first and foremost.

There are 4 different kinds of homes/family characterized by expectations of

the children and wife compared with support from the husband:

1. Apathetic family

2. Stressful family

3. Pampered family

4. Balanced family.

1. APATHETIC HOME

The children have low expectations, needs and low support from the husband in

form of care or commitment to the family’s needs as well as children

upbringing. The family members are indifferent and uncaring.

2. STRESSFUL HOME

This is characterized by high expectation and low support. The home becomes

tensed up as well as suicidal. The result is that children in such homes become

distressed, fearful and oppressed. They can result to running errand for

neighbours for food. Furthermore, it may have negative effect on their mental

faculty or reasoning.

3. PAMPERED HOME

Low expectation with high support. The children receive far more than they

need. They become petty and indulgent with the result that they are spoilt.

There is overwhelming leaning on the part of the children to their parents

without whom they may find it difficult to find their feet or fend for themselves.

4. BALANCED HOME

This home is characterized by high expectation and high support. The children

are confident and affirmed. The result is that their intelligence quotients

become high. They are blessed children with high moral value.

God’s will is the balanced home. To build a balanced home therefore, the

biblical principles must be followed tenaciously.

EPHESIANS 5:21-6:4

Since we cannot expect without supporting, and vice versa, it becomes

imperative that spouses’ relationship should be reciprocal.

(a) Husband: Love his wife vs. 25, 28, 33

Lead his family vs. 23.

(b) Wife: Submit to her husband vs. 22, 24

Respect her husband vs. 33.

(c) Both: To submit to God v. 21.

i. The greatest need of a woman is love from her husband while that of a man

from the wife is respect.

ii. Men need to understand their wife.

iii. Women love to give detail account. The woman also appreciates gifts no matter

how small it is, from her husband. 1 Pet. 3:7.

iv. Women are quite emotional being while men are logical beings. It is important

to be patient with each other to be able to agree. Amos 3:3.

(d) Husband, wife & children relationship Eph. 6:1-4

Children: To obey their parents vs. 1

To honour them vs. 2

Parents: Not to provoke their children to wrath vs 4 (a)

They are suppose to nurture the children in God’s way vs. 4 (b) Deut. 6:6-7.

e. SPOKEN WORD: Gen. 48:15-16, Eph. 4:29, pro. 18:21

It is important that parents speak words of blessings into the life of their

children. Usually, when a man is getting married to his wife, he shows care and

love. It is imperative that such love be bestowed on the wife always.

f. LAY HANDS: Parents should always pray for their children. You can lay hands on

the children to bless them. Matt. 19:14-15.

g. SPECIAL FUTURE: God is not only interested in the present of your family. He is

also interested in the future more so, future generations. As far as God is

concerned trans-generational blessings are for His people. Therefore, Parents

should be mindful of this fact. And pray for their children’s children even now. II

Tim. 1:5-6, Gen. 13:14 – 15, Gen. 49:28.

h. ACTIVE COMMITMENT to the family. Husband and wife are supposed to show

much commitment to their marriage especially children in order to raise

successful children with godly character. Success without a successor is a

failure. If Abraham failed to bring up Isaac properly, how can he explain that to

God? The ministry of Eli couldn’t continue after his death because of his

children. Therefore, success in ministry or business may be limited, impeded or

destroyed through carelessness in family commitment.

It will yield eternal dividend if we give adequate attention, love and care to our

family.

Unity: Unity in family brings blessings Isa.8:18, Gen. 18:19 b, Matt. 19:4-6.

Unity makes you fulfill God’s command of monogamy. Terrible problems come

when we deviate from God’s word. Every Ishmael will dent your Isaac while

every Hagar will mock your Sarah. Therefore, cast out the bondwoman and her

child now, repent and follow God’s blessed word. Let us lay a good foundation

for our children and our generations yet unborn to build on. God’s trans-

generational blessings are yours. Amen.

Training: Train or disciple both your wife and children. Even if she’s not called,

she’ll be able to effectively help you in ministry.

Self Control: Our Lord Jesus in His ministry on earth was always with the

disciples particularly John, Peter and James. This helped Him against

temptations. He Himself was tempted in all areas, but never fell Heb. 4:15. If

Samson had gone to Gaza with somebody else, he would not fall Eccl. 4:9-10.

the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the

hand of Saul:

22:2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

22:3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of

my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from

violence.

22:4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved

from mine enemies.

22:5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made

me afraid;

22:6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented

me;

22:7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did

hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

22:8 Then the earth shook (8691) and trembled; the foundations of heaven

Just as the ten tribes of Israel became lost to the eyes of the world after their

Babylonian captivity, so it is also with the true church which has largely

become lost to human view since the captivity began in the days of

Constantine.

God still knows what has become of the teln lost tribes of Israel, and God still

knows the members of His true and holy church.This pearl of great price,

though remaining hidden and buried from the prying, curious eyes of an

unbelieving world, stands far beyond the comprehension of a church system

that has worshipped and honored the works of it`s own hands. It is still known

and loved of God as a treasure hid in a field.

Century after century, year after year, day after day, and hours on end it is the

object of His continual care as He strengthens, establishes, and keeps each

precious member. In His love He causes them to grow in stature by secretely

feeding them the milk of the Word, the bread of Life, the strong meat of

Revelation, and the rich corn and wine of His coming Kingdom. With loving

paternal care He unerringly brings them to sonship. The chastening of the

rod falls upon them until they suffer such dire loss in all things of the world

that their sinking souls seem to be beyond hope and recovery.

But in the greatness of their distress they learn to sing with the joy of the Lord

in their hearts,"The Lord has given and the Lord has taken away; blessed be

the name of the Lord."Beneath the rod of His correction they learn to know

true values. They see them rise like a green bay tree, which, after it is grown,

has no known value. They see them grow like the grass which today is gree

and tomorrow is withered. They see all earthly things as the flower of the field

which blooms today but tomorrow is cast into an oven to wilt and die.

He makes their gold and silver canker and lose it`s value that men may see

that only in Christ are true values to be found. Men of earth have no

understanding of true value.They are much like Jonah who was very angry

that God had destroyed the gourd, which grew up in one night and upon

which he bestowed no labor, but was unable to see the value of 120,000 souls

whom God had spared from judgment by his preaching.Such is the

understanding of carnal men...

The Lord is merciful and gracious; slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

He knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

everlasting on those who fear Him. You say what are the Lords benefits? His

are forgiveness for all our iniquities, healing for all our diseases, and

redemption for our lives from destructions. He crowns us with loving-kindness

and tender mercies, so that our youth in renewed like the eagles.

JEHOVAH-JIREH MEANS "THE LORD WILL SEE." Genesis 22:12-14.

Jehovah-jireh tells us that the Lord will see our great need. God constantly

sees the needs of his children and provides for them.

Jehovah-Rapha - "The Lord That Healeth Thee" Exodus 15:25-26

JEHOVAH-RAPHA IS THE HEALER OF ALL OUR TROUBLES. Though

our days on this earth are few, they are full of trouble. He heals all our

sicknesses. And he heals our souls. "If you diligently heed the voice of the

Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His

commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on

you which I have brought on the Egyptians.

For I am the Lord who heals you." "Surely He has borne our griefs and

carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and

afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our

iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes

we are healed." Isaiah 53:4-5

Jehovah Nissi: The Lord Is My Banner. When your battle is over you will

have the right to replace your enemy's flag with your own. Set it on high for

all to see that Jehovah Nissi is your God who has secured your victory. God is

saying there will always be war; don't be surprised by it. He is also saying he

is always the winner.

Jehovah-Shalom - the Lord our Peace. Judges 6:12-16 "Peace be with you; do

not fear, you shall not die." And then Gideon built an alter in that place and

called it THE-LORD-IS-PEACE: Jehovah-Shalom.

In the spiritual realm however, weakness is our greatest asset. You see here

God mercies takes control of our weaknesses in this world over all our

troubles and battles.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 -10b "For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Roman

8:31 tells us "if God is for us who can be against us?”

Jehovah - Rohi - "Jehovah, my Shepherd" Psalm 23:1 "The Lord is my

shepherd; I shall not want.” The Lord knows what we long for because he

created us and understands our nature better than we understand ourselves.

Recognizing our deep need, he calls us to see him as the

Jehovah-M'Kaddesh - the Lord our Sanctifier. The Lord says: "Consecrate

yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God. Keep my decrees and

follow them. I am the Lord, who makes you holy." (Leviticus 20:7-8) God

wraps us in the cloak of his own holiness until we are totally transformed into

something we could not be except for him and his great grace. He shares his

own character and nature with us through Jesus Christ. The scripture tells us

that through God's divine power and our knowledge of him, "he has given us

his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may

participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused

by evil desires." (2 Peter 1:4) That's being sanctified; that's being holy. That is

the transformation that Jehovah-M'Kaddesh provides.

Jehovah-Shammah - The Lord is There Ezekiel 48:35; God is always all

around us no matter what we may endure. His presence is there for us to call

upon reach out to. Praise Him for as the heavens are high above the earth, so

great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; and as far as the east is from

the west which there is no measurement! Praise Him Beloved’s for what He

has done for you.

Hebrews 11:6, tells us that without faith it is impossible to

please God. In fact, the eleventh chapter is called the FAITH chapter because

it gives us many examples of the great faith and sacrifices of the elders of old

who obtained a good report because of their faith.

Then we are given an admonition in Hebrews 12:1. "Wherefore, seeing we

also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside

every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with

patience the race that is set before us.” Simply, since these witnesses show us

how they found favor with God, we must follow their example and finish our

race by faith.

The "sin that doth so easily beset us” is described in Hebrews 3:12. "Take

heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in

departing from the living God.” This was another admonition written to the

people of God. We must shield our hearts from unbelief by putting on the

breastplate of faith and love. (1 Thess. 5:5-8) Also Ephesians 6:11-17 says,

"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the

devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,

against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against

spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor

of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all,

to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having

on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation

of the gospel of peace; Above all, tak-ing the shield of faith, wherewith ye

shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of

salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

Jesus said in the last part of Luke 18:8, "Nevertheless, when the Son of man

cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” We are living in perilous times and

the love and faith of many has waxed cold. Saints of God, we have been given

great and precious promises by God. We must hold fast the profession of our

faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised). (Hebrews 10:23,35)

"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of

reward.” (1 John 5:4) "For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world:

and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

Let us be strong in faith and righteousness so that we may enter into the joys

the Lord has prepared for those that love Him.

WHY JESUS HAD TO COME TO EARTH , TO GIVE US A

REPLICA OF HIS FATHER. HE HAD TO COME IN FLESHLY

FORM, HOWEVER, OR WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE

TO SEE HIM WITH NATURAL EYES. BUT, GOD IS A

SPIRIT. THAT'S WHY HE CAN BE IN THE NORTH, SOUTH,

EAST AND WEST, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. HE'S OMNI-

PRESENT. HE'S A GOD OF VISION, ALSO. (EL ROI) HE

SITS HIGH AND HE LOOKS DOWN LOW, BEHOLDING THE

EVIL AND THE HOLY IN EVERY PLACE. SO, JUST KNOW,

CAN GET AWAY WITH "MURDER"? WHY ARE THERE SO

MANY THEIVES WHO STEAL AND ROB PEOPLE AND

THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH EVEN ROBBING A

BANK? AND WORSE YET, WHY DO SOME PASTORS THINK

THEY CAN "FLEECE" THE SHEEP OF GOD?

HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY THINK THAT THEY CAN

PREACH TO OTHERS WHAT THUS SAYS THE LORD, BUT

THEY DON'T HAVE TO LIVE BY THE SAME GOSPEL THEY

PREACH? WHY DO THEY THINK THEY CAN PUT ON AN

"ACT" ON SUNDAY MORNING AND TOSS THE WORD OUT

TO OTHERS , BUT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEY TREAT

THEIR WIFE AND PERHAPS CHILDREN WRONG? THEY

ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE USED OF THE DECEITFUL

ONE. BUT, DON'T THEY KNOW THAT GOD SEES BEHIND

CLOSED DOORS? HE CAN EVEN WALK RIGHT THROUGH

THAT BEDROOM DOOR AND SEE THAT A HUSBAND IS

ABUSING HIS WIFE. HE MAY NOT STOP HIS HAND RIGHT

AWAY, BUT IF THAT WIFE IS A PRAYING WOMAN , GOD

WILL MOVE SWIFTLY AND STOP THE HAND OF THE EVIL

ONE FROM USING HER HUSBAND. ASK ME, I KNOW FROM

EXPERIENCE. GOD STOPPED THE HAND OF MY EX-

HUSBAND , WHO WAS ABOUT TO USE HIS FIST TO GIVE

ME A BLACK EYE...BUT GOD'S WAR ANGEL WAS RIGHT

THERE TO STOP HIM FROM KNOCKING MY EYE OUT OF

ITS SOCKET. THAT'S JUST HOW FIERCE HE WAS COMING

AT ME. I SAID NOTHING OUT LOUD , BUT GOD KNEW

WHAT I WAS CRYING OUT FROM MY HEART AND HE

TOLD SATAN , "TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED ONE AND DO

SAINTS OF GOD , EACH ONE OF US MUST CRUCIFY OUR

FLESH DAILY SO THAT OUR FLESHLY DESIRES DON'T

WIN OUT OVER WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD WOULD HAVE

US DO. THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S A DAY TO DAY THING

BECAUSE THE TEMPTER IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO TRY

AND LURE US AWAY FROM WHAT THE FATHER WANTS US

TO DO AND THAT IS TO LET OUR LIGHT SO SHINE

BEFORE MEN THAT THEY MAY SEE OUR GOOD WORKS

AND GLORIFY THE FATHER, WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. GOD

IS A SPIRIT , AND THEY THAT WORSHIP, MUST

WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. DON'T EVEN

TRY TO TEMPT GOD, FOR THERE NO WAY YOU CAN. AND

HE TEMPTS NO MAN! IN OTHER WORDS, DON'T THINK

YOU CAN SIN AND THEN RUN AND HIDE BECAUSE THERE

IS NO HIDING PLACE FROM GOD. EVEN IF YOU WIND UP

IN HELL, WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR EYES...HE'S THERE.

HE IS THE GREAT I AM! HE IS THE RULER OF THE

UNIVERSE. HE IS THE GREAT SHEPHERD. AND IF WE

WOULD BUT FOLLOW HIM AND ALLOW HIM TO

SHEPHERD US, IT WOULDN'T MATTER IF THAT ONE WHO

YOU THOUGHT WAS YOUR SPIRITUAL LEADER FALLS

BECAUSE HE FAILS TO FOLLOW THE LEADERSHIP OF

THE HOLY SPIRIT, THEREFORE LOSES FOCUS....YOU CAN

STAY FOCUSED ON HOW THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS

LEADING YOU. AND YOU MUST PRAY FOR THE PASTOR

OR WHOEVER THE ENEMY MAY BE USING TO LURE YOU

ASTRAY FROM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. IT COULD

BE YOUR BOSS AT WORK AND YOU MAY LOVE YOUR JOB,

BUT THE BOSS MAY BE A SLAVE DRIVER AND VERY

MEAN......YOU HAVE TO RECOGNIZE WHO THE BOSS OF

BOSSES IS; THE LEADER OF ALL LEADERS IS; JESUS IS!

THAT'S RIGHT, JESUS IS THE ONE WHO OPENED THAT

DOOR THAT NO MAN CAN CLOSE. AND HE'S THE ONLY

ONE WHO ALSO CAN CLOSE THE DOOR OF YOUR PAST

FAULTS, SINS AND FAILURES. AND NO MAN CAN OPEN

IT.

COME ON SAINTS OF GOD, IT'S SIMPLY TIME TO

RECOGNIZE AND ACKNOWLEDGE WHO GOD IS AND THAT

HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE AND LIVING GOD. WE

ALL HAVE TO ANSWER TO HIM ONE DAY. SO, WE NEED

TO START NOW BY GETTING INTO HIS PERFECT WILL

AND NOT EXPECT HIM TO BE PERMISSIVE ALWAYS AND

ALLOW US TO THINK WE CAN HAVE IT OUR WAY. OH, HE

MAY ALLOW YOU TO MAKE MISTAKES AND TRY TO FLY

YOUR OWN WINGS WITHOUT HIS INSTRUCTIONS IN

THE RIGHT WAY . HE SAID THE STEPS OF THE

RIGHTEOUS ARE ORDERED BY THE LORD. SO, WHY NOT

ASK HIM TO SHOW YOU THE WAY AND THEN WALK

THEREIN. IN THAT WAY YOU WILL ALWAYS KNOW THAT

YOU ARE IN THE PERFECT WILL OF THE FATHER AND

THAT HE IS SMILING HIS FAVOR UPON YOUR ENTIRE

LIFE.

JUST SAY OUT LOUD NOW, "LORD, WHATEVER IS YOUR

WILL FOR MY LIFE, LET IT SO BE DONE." AMEN.

“Exposed II” Pulpit Predators

Sounds like something horrible and in this case you’re correct. Apostles,

Prophets, Evangelists, Preachers, and Teachers, each of these has something

in common with the rest of the body. Each are seceptable to demonic

influence, oppression, depression, and or possession.

Apostles, a greek word, actually meant in the Hebrew language a sent one

who is an emmisary, one who is supposed to be the exact likeness of Jesus

Christ, authorized to act in His stead with the same power and influence.

Apostles are supposed to show forth the very same love, charater, and nature

of God, but in this new Apostolic movement, pride has entered in and they

think their titles, entitle them to be something they were never meant to be.

They walk around in pride, a pride that crept up on them so slow, they never

saw it and they still don’t. They want to be served and recognised as the

ultimate authority in today’s church, and what they say goes and anyone who

disagrees with them is their enemy. Discernemnt generally shows you, they

have been overtaken by the Jezebel or Leviathon spirit, inflicting this same

self-serving spirit on their fold. These particular Apostles have a tendency to

mix truth with falicy, the food they feed their flock is poisoned. They are true

Judus’s, leading their flock straight to the gates of hell for the slaughter and

their disciples are more the servant of hell than they are.

Prophets, one who was intended to speak God’s words and God’s truth, in

it’s fullness. No where in God’s Word does it say a prophet has the right to

charge for a word from God. In fact, Gehazi, Elish’a understudy was fully

repremanded for taking goods that Elisha turned down for a word from God

that he gave. Prophets are also called to give blessings and warnings, but they

don’t, for reasons I can’t begin to fathom. Being a prophet and hearing God

and what a prophet says to individuals, I noticed they would give them the

good news or upcoming blessings, but witheld the warnings.

When I asked these prophets why they weren’t telling them the whole thing, I

was told that it was discretionary wisdom, as the person wasn’t ready to

receive the warning. My question with that, was am I hearing everything you

are, yet you choose not to telling the whole truth? Could it be their interests

are the need to be liked and the possible financial blessings that come from

that. That in and of itself is wrong as it shows a denial of trust for God to

supply all their needs, whether financial or fulfilling the empty voids.

Evangelists, these are those who God sends out to remind us of the simples

truths of God’s good news of redemption. They for the most part, re-establish

the excitement of our salvation in reminding us of the preciousness of God’s

gift of His love through His son’s atonement. At the same time, they are to

bring the congregation back to a sober mind, reminding them, each has a call

on their lives to go and preach the gospel of the good news to the world and

every living creature in it. They unfortunately drive or fly great distances,

sometimes at their own expense, leaving them with a need for financial

renumeration. They try to get everyone so excited with portions of the good

news that when it comes time for the offering, people are blindly giving,

instead of seeking God. This effect is true all the way around, they forget to

point us in the right direction, with all things, seek God. They play on people

emotions for the greater offerings, while leaving weightier measures out of the

message. This also shows a lack of trust in God to supply their needs, some

have even been known to spend at much as 15 minutes on a message and 30 +

minutes on the asking for the offering.

Preachers, these are called to teach truth and even bring forth revelations

of God’s Word for the better understanding, in accordance with God’s design

for that particular flock. Preachers have a saying, if it’s spoken of or pointed

out 2 or more times in the Bible, then it’s a preach or sermon. The problem

with this, to many have for years leaned to their own understanding about

God’s Word, this understanding has led to much misinterpretation and

presentation of God’s Word. This leaning to an understanding void of God’s

wisdom, truth, and revelation, leads to a corrupt and amoral teaching. God’s

Word say that the preachers are more responsible for truth and held

accountable for just that. This is a statement worth remembering, because

there is more to it that will be presented later in this note.

Teachers, these are the revelators, those who dig deep for that pearl, the gift of

revelation regarding God’s Word that will help the body to have a better and

deeper understanding of God’s character, nature, and ways. Knowledge can

either promote or destroy, dependant on the source. With today’s ability and

availabilty to search the internet and get all kinds of information, it is more

dangerous to do so than search God’s Word, seek God’s heart, and look back

through Jewish history, traditions, and rituals. How easily we can be misled

by something that sounds so good, but in truth ahs no truthful bearing on the

revelation from God’s Word. God’s Word tells us to study to show ourselves

approved unto God and not man, if we’re not seeking God for our

information, for whom do we seek approval and from whom?

The body, there are many facets to a diamond or other such shiny high

priced gems and God called us all to be gems for His use. Who is doing the

polishing on these gems, is it us, leaning to oour understanding or is it God.

If you’ve ever been rubbed raw by a gritty surface, it hurts, but it also heals,

God uses the sandpaper of His choice to smooth the rough edges or polish our

facets. How can we possibly know this unless we study God’s Word, how can

we know when we’re not being taught truth if we don’t study. How can we

know hidden truths without discernment, how can we know God’s wisdom for

our lives if we’re not seeking God and asking for His wisdom? How can we

know truth, God’s truth, if we don’t seek the Holy Spirit, who brings to us the

spirit of truth and none of it will be laced with lies, untruths, or man’s

wromgful interpretations. Going back to the earlier statement about

responsibility, though Pastors, preachers are held in higher accountability and

responsibility for preaching truth, we hold individually, just as much

responsibility to know God’s truth. They’re held in higher accountability

simply because of the number of lives they effect with their words and

teachings.

All in all, everyone in one way or another is suggestive in nature and

potentially open to the influence of the demonic, leaving us in a position of

vulnerability for the lack of trust and obedience to God’s Word, and even

those who wish to speak into our lives, but aren’t hearing or seeing from God.

Matthew 6:33 gives it to us very plainly, seek first the kingdom of God and His

righteousness and the things of God will be given according to God’s

promises. Matthew 4:4 says; man does not live by bread alone, but by every

Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:7 says, do not tempt

God with foolishness, in other words, our understanding.

Matthew 4:10 tells us worship the Lord thy God and serve Him only, the 4

verses are a strong mainstay and a foundation of discernment.

Please stop letting man’s ideas and ideals rule your lives, you never know their

intent or who’s behind it. Never forget, this is not true of all of God’s

ordained, do not hold all at bay, but seek God, He will let you know, whom He

has entrusted. God bless, seek God!

VICTORY IS YOURS child of God. It is assured and should never be foreign

to you. From the very beginning when God first had you in mind, He

programmed you for victory. Your end cannot be otherwise: Of necessity, it

must line up with the eternal determination of Almighty God whose purpose

cannot be bent. That is how it has always been, that is how it is, and that is

how it will always be- the victory of God’s people is a foregone conclusion. It

is not just going to happen, it has already happened. You do not need to ask

for it, anticipate it, or work on it, all you have to do is first accept it, celebrate

it, then manifest it. Nothing by any means is unbeatable to the son of God.

Beloved, in CHRIST, you have bound the strong man, rendered him

powerless, taken over the whole game; you are a winner over and above any

challenge. When HE spoiled principalities, you overcame with HIM. HIS

victory was not a personal one peculiar to him but rather a communal one

essential to all who believe in HIM. By this faith, that victory is as much

CHRIST's as it is indeed yours. Oh yes, it is your victory; it has your name on

it; your faith is the currency you employ to take possession of it. VICTORY IS

YOURS!!!!!

So what is it you are facing dear? Is it cancer, HIV/AIDS, arthritis, heart

failure? What is it? Is it death, the grave, is even all the forces of darkness?

Yes, whether it is demons, curses, hoaxes, magics, chants, name it; whatever it

is, whatever name it calls itself, whatever power it claims it has, regardless the

threat it sends; know this and know it well; in CHRIST, you won it over and

above any measure. YOU HAVE VICTORY AND IT IS YOURS in the name

of JESUS!!!!!

VICTORY BELONGS TO YOU.

THY KINGDOM COME ON EARTH : BY JOEL McNabb

Two thousand years ago two men showed up in Judea with the same

message. Their message was not, repent and miss hell as some would have

us believe. John the baptizer came preaching "Repent for the kingdom of God

is at hand”, and when his time was fulfilled, Jesus began His ministry and

preaching the same message. His Father was ready to begin setting up His

kingdom here on earth as He has it in heaven. To those who believe the

message of the kingdom and become a part of it, they will miss hell, and have

everlasting life.

"Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of

heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the

seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of

heaven worshippeth thee” (Neh 9: 6). It is God who has everything, it is His

dominion, this world was made to worship Him and it is His will to have

kingdom here on the just like the one He has in heaven. He devised a plan to

set this in motion from the foundation of the world. God created man in His

image to give man the control and dominion of the earth (Gen. 1:26-28).

How many of us, as believers, have prayed or said what is called the

Lord’s Prayer? These words, which Jesus taught were not necessarily a repeat

after me prayer, but as He said "After this manner therefore pray ye”. He

gave us an outline of how we can reach God. First, we address God as "our

Father Which art in heaven”.

Second, Jesus gives us an example to praise the Father and glorify His name

"Hallowed be Thy name”. Thirdly, to ask God to fulfill His purpose and will

on this earth. "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in

heaven” (Mt 6:9-13).

These three things come first in importance before our needs and requests.

The Kingdom of God on earth is God’s plan since the creation of man. Jesus

didn’t come just to save sinners, though it is a faithful saying. He came and

died for our sins, to enable us to become a part of His kingdom. Jesus even

told Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God " (Jn 3:3). "But as many as received him, to

them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on

his name” (Jn 1:12)”

Jesus’ death and resurrection allows mankind to attain a condition of spiritual

holiness enabling us to be a part the kingdom that God will have here on

earth. When Nicodemus asked Jesus, "How can a man be born when he is

old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born”?

Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water

and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born

of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not

that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (Jn 3:4-7).

The point Jesus is making is that to enter the kingdom of God, one has to be

born of woman. When a child is ready to enter the world, his mother’s water

breaks and the child comes forth. One has to be "born again” to see what the

kingdom of God is and enter it.

"The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given

to the children of men” (Ps 115:16). God sent His Son to earth in the form of

man, because the He has given the earth to man. He will also fulfill His

promise to David.

"Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father

that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in

my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to

their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me” (2Ch 6:17). The

promises of God the Father are sure, they cannot fail, there will be a man to

sit on the throne of David, even Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

God’s plan after the Lucifer’s rebellion, was to inhabit the earth with man to

worship Him, and to give the angels that remained in God’s heavenly

kingdom a visual lesson of how grievous the insurrection of Lucifer was.

But, while in the Garden of Eden, the first Adam relinquished his dominion of

the earth to Satan by disobeying the commandment and will of God to not to

eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

On the day of Pentecost, when it had fully come, Peter filled with an unction

of the Holy Ghost preached to the crowd, that Jesus was raise from the dead

to immortality, God not leaving his body in hell to see corruption, so that

there would be a man to sit on the throne of David (Acts 2:25-31).

I often hear believers talk of heaven and the desire to go there, how they

can’t wait to go home and be with Jesus. The songs they sing, the books they

write, are all filled with pictures of endless walks on the street of gold, with

family and friends. What happen to the promise to Abraham that he would

be heir of the earth? Or the blessing in Matt. 5:5 that Jesus gave to the meek

that they also would inherit the earth? I hear the words, "Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done in earth”, or it is in heaven. If it is on the earth, then where is

His kingdom on earth?

Jesus said to the Pharisees when they demanded of Him when the kingdom

should come: "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither

shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within

you” (Lk 17;20-21). Many have read these words of Jesus, and have gotten

the idea that once you are born again the kingdom of God is in you.

I would question this doctrine, and ask why was Jesus saying this to some

unsaved Pharisees? He was saying it to them, because God had chosen the

children of Israel to be His kingdom on earth, and even though they had been

under foreign country’s rule from the time of the Babylonian empire, they

were as King David thought, when he fought Goliath, "the armies and

kingdom of the living God” on earth (1Sam 17:26,36).

Jesus also knew the Jews of His day had the kingdom, when He was teaching

in the temple and the chief priest and elders of the people came to Him. He

spoke to them in the parable of the householder who planted a vineyard and

hedged it letting it out to husbandmen. he sent servants to receive the fruit

and the husbandman kill them and sent others and they beat and stoned

them. Then last of all he sent his son, they said among themselves, This is the

heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught

him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

Jesus then asked the question, "When the lord therefore of the vineyard

cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will

miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other

husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Jesus saith

unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders

rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing,

and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God

shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits

thereof” (Mt 21:33-46).

Here we see Jesus letting the Jews of His day know they were going to loose

the kingdom of God, and God would give it to another people (nation), who

when He comes will have fruits that kingdom on their tree. By their rejection

of the Son of God and having Him killed on the cross, they sealed their

judgment, and at the death of the testator the covenant, the ten

commandments which God made with Israel, was annulled. As Paul said,

"The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her

husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the

Lord” (1Cor 7:39). At the death of Jesus, God took the kingdom from the Jews,

and in 70 A.D. He took the promised land and scattered the Jews around the

world.

The promise Jesus made, that there will be a nation rise up with the fruits of

the kingdom of God, will come to pass. In Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the

image, (from the head of gold, to the feet mixed with iron and clay), God

reveals He will set up a kingdom in the days of those kings (ten toes), which

shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,

but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand

for ever (Dan 2:31-35).

We are living in the days of the ten horns and the beast (the G10 and the

UN). There will be a little stone, (a small nation), which comes out of the

mountain and it will smite the feet of the image. The stone became a great

mountain and filled the whole earth.

"That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in

one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth;

even in him” (Eph 1:10). We are living in the fulness of times. Are you

expecting our Lord’s return to rule and reign on this earth? The message is

the same as it was two thousand years ago, we still have time to repent for

the Kingdom of God is at hand, and He is ready to gather His wheat into His

barn. Are you ready, are you bringing forth the fruits of God’s kingdom???

It’s time to hear the trump of God and gather unto Him. Get ready saints, the

Kingdom of God is at hand!

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven,

saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and

of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever” (Rev 11:15).

Good works are a manifestation of the anointing of God. If you are truly

anointed of God, it will show in the frequency of good deeds emanating from

you. If Matthew 5:14-16 is anything to go by, it gives us a veritable link

between three variables: the shine of a believer, his or her good works, and

glorifying the Father. Anything you do that compels men to offer true praise

to God is a good work. As long as it is done by a believer in Christ, with the

right motives, and in obedience to God's instructions, it will elicit Heaven's

reward. A true mark of a disciple of Christ is the desire for God to be glorified

in all his or her deeds, speech or conduct. Your life is supposed to point people

to your Father. Can they see Christ in you?

It is possible to identify a believer by his or her conduct. A little child ran

home in excitement one Sunday morning telling the mother that he has seen

Jesus. "How do you know its Jesus you saw?" the mother asked. "He saw my

loosed shoes, bent down and laced them for me", he replied. "OK, can you

describe him for me?" she asked. By the time he was through, it was obvious

that it was their pastor. Do you have time to knot the tie, wipe the sweat or take

off the sand on your children? Little things like that could make great

impressions on the minds of these little ones. And adults too! I once travelled

to America; as soon as I arrived at the airport, I was conveyed to the church

where I was to preach. I kept going from one place to another such that I

could not rest except on board a plane. As I took my seat on board the plane, I

found myself sitting next to an old woman who had never travelled by air.

Since I knew starting a conversation with an old woman would cost me my

rest, I decided not to say a word. When she greeted me, I smiled without a

word. When we were asked to place our luggage in the upper-compartment,

she did not understand what to do, so I helped her. When they announced that

we should fasten our belts, she was also at a loss, so I helped her. She thanked

me and I smiled. When it was time to eat, she did not know how to release her

table from the back of the seat in front of her, so I helped her. She thanked me

and I smiled. Before we landed, I assisted her again and then she said, "You

must be a pastor". I said "Yes, ma" and she screamed, "I knew it". Can you

be identified as a believer without saying a word?

THE FATHER’S BLESSING "I pray for someone reading this message

today, who is getting tired or discouraged in helping people in need. The Lord,

the Great Rewarder of the diligent seekers will not forget your labour of love.

In due season you shall reap the reward. As you encourage yourself in the

Lord. You shall not be discouraged. People shall soon realise your good deeds

and give glory to our Father God. You shall continue to be fruitful in good

works of righteousness. Very soon you shall call for one, and hundreds will

answer you. Your fruits will abide and whatever you ask the Father in His

name shall be done in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord.”(Amen)

PRAYER ACTION POINT FOR TODAY: Pray that believers in your nation

will bear fruits of righteousness that will make unbelievers identify them as

the lights of the world.

THE AFFAIR IS ADVANCING YOU INTO A GLORIOUS MARRIAGE: BY

During the most turbulent times of your life, there has been a significant thing

which seemed to intervene: enabling you to make it through. Surely, you can

recall going through some situations where even now as you are reading these

words. You are not able to explain how you made it through. You and I have

had many affairs.....No ! No ! Not with a man or a woman.....stay focused ! It

is the affairs with the cares of this world. The hurt, pain especially heartache

(many have broken hearts ), and sickness. How long long are you going to

have these affairs with your personal issues ? When are you going to see from

Abba Father's perspective ? The affairs has come to advance you into a

glorious marriage ? With whom ? I am so glad you asked ! For thirty five

years, I have been having an affair with unforgiveness. Unforgiveness had a

stronghold on me ! Yet, I was still praying to Yahweh (God) and had the

audacity to expect Him to answer my prayers. Divinely He

intervened.....snatched me from the burning hell which was closing in on me.

The affair has advanced me into a glorious marriage....reminding me of being

on the brink. On the brink, in the dark night of despair....darkness quickly

over shadowing the day. On the brink of giving up. I discover a new strength

springing up from within.....bringing joy of new found vision, it is blurred yet

getting clearer.....I see it. On the brink, I see You Oh Lord.....I feel Your love

and compassion. Yes, on the brink I experience Your transforming power

lifting me to my place of destiny....On the brink...

Then my heart released forgiveness and received Jehovah's Rapha healing

balm. Now my passion for Him is rekindled.....Spending the whole night upon

my bed, talking with Him and then just before the breaking of dawn arising to

spend hours in His word and in prayer. Lately though, I have not been

keeping my appointments with Him. Slumbering upon my bed, and at intervals

pausing to reach out to Him. Talking with Him, then falling helplessly back to

sleep. Even my rising to go to Him in prayer has not been consistent. There is

a feeling of being disconnected without His warm embracing presence.

Rekindled passion is emerging...For thereis a tugging and a pulling....drawing

me to that place of prayer intensifying my adoration of Him. Rekindled

passion is now unfolded and I am regaining strength and courage....Renewing

my thinking, putting on the mind of Christ. There is a strong thirsting for His

presence, and a hunger for His word. Rekindled passion is drawing me to

arise even at midnight just to get into His presence where there is joy beyond

measure, and pleasures are at His right hand which cannot be compared...

The affair has advanced into a glorious marriage, for I now have renewed my

covenant with Him, who calls me by my name ! What about you ? What are

you having an affair with ? It may not be with unforgiveness....Ask yourself

this question " What are you having an affair with ? Do not allow whatever

you are having an affair with to cause you to go to hell. Instead allow the

affair to advance you into a glorious marriage with your heavenly

Father.....but first, you must repent ! Read these words Jesus spoke from

Revelation 3:19-22 Verse (19) " As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.

Therefore be zealous and repent. " Verse (20) " Behold I stand at the door

and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him

and dine with him, and he with me. " Verse (21) " To him who overcomes I

will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with

My Father on His throne. " Verse (22) " He who has an ear, let him hear

what the Spirit says to the churches. " Make a decision to allow the affair to

advance you into a glorious marriage with Abba Father. Renew your covenant

with Him today !

In John chapter 17: 6-18, Jesus made it clear that there are two types of

people in the world: those who are His and those who reject His redemptive

assignment. He prayed to the Father to preserve His own from the evil which

rules the world:

God has ordained that His children will live fulfilled lives on earth with

potentials to affect their communities.

Jeremiah 29:11

As John 10:10 above shows, , Jesus came to take away all constraints that are

contrary to the well being of saints. Back of all the constraints is the great

enemy of man: Satan who in himself and through other agencies and

circumstances engineers situations that seek to steal, kill and destroy what

God ordained for His saints!

At the Cross of Calvary, Jesus completed the work of redemption and

triumphantly declared, as recorded in John 19:30: "It is finished”. The work

of redemption is complete and nothing can be added or subtracted to it! All

who maintain their salvation in Christ Jesus till their last breath are assured

of their state of bliss with God in the future phase of the Kingdom and in

eternity.

However, the blessings procured at Calvary Cross for living the abundant life

in this present phase of the Kingdom can be enjoyed or missed! A saint who

walks in darkness of ignorance concerning who he or she is in Christ will

suffer needlessly. A saint who is too busy to study the Word, meditate on it and

apply it in everyday life will live an empty life filled with the spirit of struggle

and lack. The saint who does not take time to understand the nature of

opposition and constraints to well being on this side of eternity will live an

empty, defeated life.

The Kingdom gospel and the post-denominational era

Spiritual warfare: an explanation. A Christian will succeed or fail; enjoy the

glorious liberty of son ship or struggle with various constraints to the degree

of understanding of the nature of factors which seek to constrain or even

destroy the blessings which are ours by inheritance. Beyond understanding of

those factors, the saint needs to boldly stand upon the Word of God and

enforce the ordinance of Calvary in what is called spiritual warfare. Spiritual

warfare is not an activity exclusively reserved for a few super stars in the

Kingdom. It is not an activity seeped in secret codes! It is the lifestyle of

spiritual alertness and militancy to stand upon the written and revealed Word

and insisting that Satan and all powers of darkness give way for the purpose

of the King to be fulfilled in all circumstances. In prayer, we call upon God to

do the things we deem needful for our well being. In spiritual warfare, we

decree the stated word and will of God and see its enforcement as sons of God

and co-heirs with Jesus Christ.

Faith, But Yet Weary! : BY CATHERIN SKINNER

Though my faith is strong and I believe in what God has spoken to me, I still

get weary from the attacks of the enemy. Although I am under attack, my faith

still hold strong as I wait on the Lord for I know that my Redeemer lives

within me.

2 Peter 1:3 that as we grow in our knowledge of God, through his divine

power he gives us everything we need for life and godliness. Jesus relied on

the Word of God alone to overcome obstacles, including the devil. God's Word

is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), useful for correcting us when we are

wrong and teaching us what is right (2 Timothy 3:16). It is so important that

we carry God's Word in our hearts through memorization, and meditation to

be ready to face any problem, every difficulty, and whatsoever challenge that

life can send our way.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,

with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which

transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ

Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in

spirit. Psalm 34:18

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace ... 1 Corinthians 14:33We

are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of

HEALTHY ADVICE: DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH: ADDED BY

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every

morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish

below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious

diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found

successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following

diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess

solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the

digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by

the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot

soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks:

· Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the

By their fruits we shall know them who claim to speak & preach, work wonders in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There is so much wrong in the world of religion this day; especially with witches, wizards, magicians and all sorts of satanic servants wearing the purple robe and claiming to be carrying the authority of god.

I was opportune to attend and listen to some of these MOderN days’ MONey raisers receNtly whO eNticed the crOwd with fake promises, some sorts of miracles, threat and self praise. I happen to pick up a few unique points from these services and I want you to add them to your watch list of suspicious and need to be carefully scrutinized prophets.

How can you claimed to be a servant of God with a message

from Him and on Sunday morning you climb the pulpit once and

boast about your achievements for about fifteen minutes,

read one short verse, talk about what you observed about

your countrymen weakness to a multilingual congregation

(nepotism) for another hour and close with raising funds;

using different methods of self boast about your powers

over nature? What are the motives of such preachers? You

who are invited as a guest Preacher and do not know what

your congregation does for a living; yet you take envelopes

and claim it is been collected to make them prosper and be

bless in all they do. What if their work is against the ethics

of God and man? Who will prosper them; God or Satan? Some

of them even go as far as threatening the congregation

with death if the envelopes are not return. So what was you

mission all about; the souls of these souls or their money?

The Church of God has detolirated so much that everything

in it has change drastically. The pulpit from which God voice

is to be heard is now a podium for all sorts of evils.

It is a pity what the house of God has turn to these days. One

of the horrors I watch during these last few days which

reawaken my hatred for Servants of God who uses the

pulpit to vent out their hurt feeling , get revenge for

incidents that arose in everyday life or preach about

others in order to make themselves popular in the eyes of

the congregation was the accusation of a woman of an

undefined act publicly which was not proven publicly. If you

are man enough to heard the spirit tell you to accuse

someone publicly ; you should be man enough to back up your

accusations publicly and not leave suspicions and doubts

about someone who will carry a mark of your act for life.

The publicity stunts of over zealots miracle workers (if

they actually are ) is usually immature because they have

no sound background in studying the scriptures and can not

back their actions with the scriptures.. How cowardly and

foolish this act really is and I hate it with a passion. The

pulpit is all about attacking, exposing and trying to remedy

sin in the lives of the people in order that it may bring about

a positive change. There is a big gap/difference between the

pulpit and the podium where social and political speeches

are delivered. if there is aN issue that yOu caN’t deal with iN

door by yourself; call others to help you handle it.

At one of these programs I witness to my horror a Pastor

wife been disgrace in front of not only her congregation but

the combine congregations , Muslims, atheist, of the entire

city.

Before a jammed packed church with people downstairs and

out side watching by television; this woman was called up

aNd asKed if she was a PastOr’s wife. wheN she affirMed that

she was; this fellow begin to accuse her of some nameless

evil. Now is it wrong to expose evil? No it is not but there is a

how, when, where, and sometimes why. This fellow had

earlier visited this woman congregation about four days

before this incident; had interacted with the particular

Pastor in question through out; from the day of his arrival,

had been introduced to this woman before this time. Now tell

me miracles workers if something was wrong in the life of

this PastOr wife why didN’t he called theM iN Private at

their church when he visited, in the office where he

interacted with him daily and enlighten them ; because

after disgracing the woman on the stage he did nothing to

expose the demon or whatever it was, get it out or heal her

of it ;if it was real but benefited by increasing his

popularity with one final goal, which was to raise funds

from a stunned congregation.. What kind of fruits are these

for a servant of God I wondered? Surely they are not listed

among the fruits Servants of God should bear; because we

all knew the end result was increasing their popularity so

that he could raise money.

What really annoyed me was the Pastors around (mostly

birds of the same feathers) really applauded this action. I

cried within me when I heard this fellow say: "Come and take

an envelope and get a miracle from God; for I have sacrifice

for you.

Take the envelope and rub it on my head or put on my coat

for I am sacrificing it for you. "And Pastors who should know

better came and took the envelopes and rub it on the fellow

head after putting a hundred or two hundred dollars into it.

Then I question myself about what these guys or ladies

really preach in the churches if they could accept that a

man sacrifice for them to get breakthroughs or prosper?

They were all carried away by two incidents called

Miracles iN Our days ; yet i caN’t BOldly called it that fOr

the Preacher himself said we should give him the glory and

not God. He could handle that issue with God later.

Therefore it was something else been done by magical or

tricky means and not a miracle of God and for me they were

very questionable. Why use the pulpit of God for such acts?

In fact regardless of how popular one is; from which

geographical location he/she comes from; and by what

contrary spirits he/she uses to draw the public attention;

real ambassadors of Jesus Christ should be really to

expose them with the intention of helping them. For even if

they claim to be super rich; we can punch holes in their

claims from their very statements and actions.

My problem is not how much he gains from these stunts but

how many are following these so-called miracle workers

and losing on earth their substances and the souls to the

devil. These poor dumb sheep souls believe in the signs,

tricks and or miracles that they are out there performing. I

am aware that they are not preaching because they want

to serve God, but because they want to gain materially.

I want them to know that the path they have chosen to gain

popularity is not honorable and it is never too late to study

the ethics of what it takes to preach the Word of God to

others. I am not in any way judging them; neither am I

condemning them as a person ; for in certain cases I even

admired the way they can get the crowd attention, but I

hate that which I see ruining a talented person that could

be honorably use for the glory of God whom they claimed to

represent. Their methods could be refined and they could be

even more popular if they studied the Word of God in order

to know where to apply what and why, when and how to

apply it that one will be able to get even more powerful

results instead & approval from God. Believe it or not if

your aim is material wealth; you will still get it.

There was a statement made by one of these fellows that

blessings is riches and to be bless means to be materially

rich. I can tell you that this is the blackest lie on the face

of mother earth. I personally know interact and pray daily

with many, who do not starve, have a roof over their heads

and are comfortable in the material world but there is a

thorn in their flesh that makes them wish that God could

exchange their lives with even the poorest if it could

correct that situation and bring peace and happiness to

their lives. You could have all the money, cars, popularity,

etc and not a single child or carrying a sickness which seems

incurable and a lot of other things that makes a man feel

incomplete. Do you know that Abraham felt incomplete until

he could boast of a child?

Yet he was one of the most bless man upon the face of the

earth that ever walked its surface. Real blessings from

God come as a complete package and there are no question

asked when it comes because everything God does is unique. I

did not say rich men are not blessed; but that blessing is far

more than material gain.

The Bible cautions us to be wise and test every spirit. Satan is not a weakling but a powerful counterfeiter and he is working more furiously in those places claimed for God. I dON’t KNOw aBOut yOur cOMMuNity But iN My sataN has the upper hand in the lives of those claiming to represent God. 99.9 are working for him with their eyes open 24/7 and are aware that they are serving him; even those they appear to be representatives of the children of light and claim to carry the royal mantle of anointing. There are a lot of people out there who are confuse about the differences between a pulpit and a podium and use both for the same purpose interchangeably. Know today that there is a vast difference between the two and this should be one of your most vital lessons that a servant of God should learn. Lack of knowledge about the differences causes one to do a lot of unnecessary and abominable acts on the pulpit. The pulpit is usually sanctified & consecrated for the use of delivering messages from the highest God to the people and petitions from the people to the Highest God. The podium on the Other haNd dOesN’t have tO Be cONsecrated aNd iN MOst cases 99.9 percent of the time lies, broken promises, deception or methods of exploitation are meant to come from them. Stop using the pulpit to pull popularity stunts, revenge what you think is your hurt feelings, oppress, suppress or depress. Your campaign speeches should be from the podium.

Stop placing your personal agenda above the message of God. Again remember that the podium is use for lies, manipulations, exploitations, personal agendas but the pulpit should be only for the truth and the edification of God Word & Kingdom. So many beautiful well decorated glass podiums are in our Churches today that can only fit in auditoriums for organizations. Know the difference that you may be able to properly note the difference between a pulpit and a podium and that will enable you to invite the right sort of speakers for the type you have within those four walls. Be Bless and remember that Moses did wonders and so did the magicians of Pharaoh; but if you carefully noted the wonder of Moses overcame the wonders of the magicians. Test every Spirit for we serve a unique God and He is only one!

FULLY CONCENTRATE ON THE DIVINE WORK OF GOD. IN 2008 WITH A CONSTANT HARVEST AND

GROWTH; HE OPENED ANOTHER BRANCH TO THE CHURCH IN OAKAM WHICH IS HEADED BY

PASTOR AFAM MOSES.
