Abstract
Atomic energy Producing heat from reaction producing steam using heat running turbine by flowing steam generator
Possibility in Bangladesh
Ruppur Nuclear Reactor founded by PG in 1963
50% finished On 24 June 2007, Bangladesh's
government announced building a nuclear power plant to meet electricity shortages.
Two major concerns
Cost Energy
Necessity of NPP for Bangladesh
Huge load Low production Limited gas reserve
Advantages
Greenhouse effect friendly Huge production from small fuel Reliable Small waste Not so expensive compared to power
from coal
Disadvantages
Radiation Explosion High Capital cost

BANGLADESH – RUSSIADhaka, Moscow reach nuclear power plant deal
The new facility will be located in Rooppur, 210 kilometers northwest of the capital. The 1,000-megawatt plant will cost US$ 2 billion and will start up in 2014. Existing power plants have become obsolete, unable to cope with chronic shortages, forcing the government to choose nuclear power.
Highlights
Though started before France , we still don’t have any power plant
62 and conditionally more 19 percentages people support this
We will have out first nuclear plant by 2015
