of August 2008Were invited by PP Jon Zuecher as Swiss Consulate Bali and Rotary Club of Bali Nusa Dua. Weenjoyed the night with other 500 guest at Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel in Tuban. As part of fund-

raising activities, we sold 400 lotteries. The money we raised was Rp.1,000,000 and will be used for

our social projects, such as baby-turtle conservation program and visit to orphanage house.

Dinner & Meeting with TCEC Bali

Sunday, 3 August 2008It was small and fun meeting with Turtle Conservation and Education Center Bali to improve our

knowledge of turtle. It is started with briefing and finished with nice dinner. This beautiful animalbecomes the symbol of our logo. It sits in the middle of Nusa Duas Gate.

2nd Garage Sale

Sunday, 10 August 2008It was a bright afternoon in Lapangan Renon Bali on 4 pm. The second-hand goods were donated by

Mr Jose Calle from The Bale Nusa Dua. We sold 30 pieces face towel, 38 pool towels and 45 pieces

bath towels. We succeed to raise Rp.925,000.

We will use this money for our project Buka Puasa Bersama in an orphanage house at Yayasan

La-Royba Tabanan on 14 September 2008.

Join Project with All Rotaractors in BaliSunday, 17 August 2008We had to driving to Karang Asem, which is 2hours from Denpasar, together with Rotaractors from

Club of Bali Denpasar, Kuta, Seminyak and Nusa Dua. We were celebrating this special day with 31orphanage children at Yayasan Yasa Kerthi. We gave some donation and the main purpose was

sharing happy moment and playing with them to bring courage and heroism spirit.

We left early as our turtles were waiting to be released. It was a bit sad as we missed the games.

Conservation Program Lets Save The

Turtle

Sunday, 17 August 2008In celebrating Indonesian Independence Day, Rotaract Club of Bali Nusa Dua had Turtle

Conservation Program entitled Lets Save The Turtle at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa Nusa Dua.

Why should it be the turtle? Recently the turtle are getting less and nearly extinct. There are many

problems encountered, such as global warming, predators, the habit for killing the turtle for food or

souvenirs and the most prominent thing is society's consciousness not to throw any rubbish to theocean is diminish. We wanted to be part of turtle conservation by releasing 47 turtles to the ocean.
