Thank you for being a member of the collectors club, and thank you to all of you who has sent me pictures and contributed to the competition with nice stories about the club troll.

I hope you will find this magazine interesting, and that you are having a good time reading it, because a lot of this magazine is made by you yourself - and please continue with that!

Since the last magazine was printed a lot of things has happened with the Ny Form Trolls. And even if we have had some production problems this summer, we are now presenting four new trolls on the market. You will find a picture of them on page four. Our new designer, Signe, is very creative and enthusiastic, and new models are seeing the light of day in her workroom this autumn too. Probably several of them will be to find in your troll shop during the first months of next year. I think we soon have trolls you will look forward to see and hopefully have in your collection! We are working with a new club troll, and a new club pack will of course be released next year too, and we do our best to make it interesting for you. I hope we succeed with that!

Ein großes Dankeschön an alle, die Mitglieder im Klub der Trollsammler sind! Und vielen Dank auch an diejenigen von Euch, die Bilder eingesendet und mit ihren netten Geschichten an unserem Wettbewerb teilgenommen haben.

Ich hoffe, Euch gefällt die vorliegende Ausgabe des Magazins und Ihr habt Freude beim Lesen. Schließlich seid Ihr es, die das Magazin zum großen Teil mitgestalten. – Macht schön weiter so!

Seit der letzten Ausgabe hat sich in Sachen Ny Form Trolle einiges getan. Trotz Produktionsproblemen im Sommer können wir Euch heute vier neue Trolle präsentieren, die auf Seite 4 abgebildet sind.

Unsere neue Designerin Signe ist äußerst kreativ und voller Tatendrang: Im Herbst werden in ihrem Arbeitszimmer mehrere neue Modelle das Tageslicht erblicken. Wahrscheinlich werden sie Anfang nächsten Jahres im Handel erhältlich sein. Ich hoffe, Ihr freut Euch auf unsere neuen Trolle und werdet sie in Eure Sammlung aufnehmen!Außerdem arbeiten wir derzeit an einem neuen Klubtroll und natürlich wird im nächsten Jahr auch ein neues Klub-Angebot erhältlich sein. Wir tun unser Bestes, das Angebot so attraktiv wie möglich zu gestalten. Hoffentlich gelingt uns das!

Grazie per aver scelto di far parte del “collectors club”, e grazie a tutti voi che mi avete inviato le vostre foto e avete contribuito al concorso con simpatiche storie sul club troll.Spero che troverete questo magazine interessante, e che passerete qualche momento piacevole leggendolo, perché gran parte dei contenuti vengono da voi stessi, e per favore continuate così!Da quando abbiamo stampato l’ultima copia del magazine sono successe tante cose ai Ny Form Trolls Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con la produzione quest’estate, ma ciononostante stiamo presentando sul mercato i nuovi modelli. Troverete le loro foto a pagina quattro.La nostra nuova disegnatrice, Signe, è molto creativa ed entusiasta: anche quest’autunno nuovi modelli vedranno la luce nel suo laboratorio, e li troverete nei negozi di vostra fiducia nei primi mesi del prossimo anno. Presto avremo da mostrarvi altri troll che vi piacerà vedere e magari avere nella vostra collezione!Stiamo lavorando al prossimo club troll: la nuova confezione sarà rilasciata l’anno prossimo, e stiamo facendo del nostro meglio per renderla interessante per voi. Ny Form trolls at the

MACEF fair

Maria Teresa and her sisters Paola (Popi), Cristina (Cris), Matilde (Mati) always do a good job decorating the trolls, as this picture also shows.

Twice a year there is a huge fair outside Milano in Italy. Our distributor, Secot, is always represented here, and this year they had a really large blistering plaster!

They had moved the Giant troll inside the fair hall, and there he stood, smiling and inviting interested people inside to take a better look at all the trolls that Secot had displayed in their stand. The Giant troll came to the MACEF Fair to work for a few days, after a long summer holiday period. He stayed for more than one month in one of the most beautiful places in Italy, the Dolomites. In a little village on these unique mountains he was a guest of Luca Weber, who found for him a very quiet place in front of the Weber Shop in Moena (Val di Fassa).Thousands of tourists visiting this very nice area stopped to look at him and take a picture with their family.The Giant Troll was very popular also at the fair: all the visitors wanted to take a picture with him. At the photo the Giant has got company from Matilde, one of the sisters of Maria Teresa Perego at Secot. Matilde (Mati for her friends) helps Maria Teresa at the company: she’s in charge of the warehouse but she likes very much to help in finding new ideas to promote the Trolls and their magic stories.

I troll Ny Form al MACEF di MilanoDue volte all’anno si tiene, presso la fiera di Milano, il MACEF, fiera degli articoli per la casa e dell’oggettistica da regalo. Il nostro distributore per l’Italia, la SE.CO.T., partecipa a tutte le edizioni, e quest’anno ha avuto veramente una bella idea! Hanno portato il Troll Gigante fin dentro la fiera, e lì è rimasto per tutta la durata del salone, sorridendo e invitando I visitatori interessati a entrare nello stand per vedere meglio I troll, esposti nello stand. Il Troll Gigante è arrivato al MACEF per fare qualche giorno di lavoro, dopo aver fatto un lungo periodo di vacanza. Ha soggiornato per più di un mese in uno dei più bei posti d’Italia, le Dolomiti. In un paesino di queste montagne uniche al mondo, è stato ospite di Luca Weber, che ha trovato per lui un tranquillo posticino di fronte al suo negozio (il Weber Shop di Moena, in Val di Fassa).Migliaia di turisti in vacanza nella zona si sono fermati a guardarlo e a fare una foto con lui e con i propri cari.Il Troll Gigante ha avuto molto successo anche in fiera: tutti i visitatori hanno voluto fare una foto con lui. Nella foto che vedete il Gigante è in compagnia di Matilde, una delle sorelle di Maria Teresa Perego, titolare della Secot. Matilde (Mati per gli amici) aiuta Maria Teresa in azienda: si occupa del magazzino, ma le piace molto anche aiutare a trovare nuove idée per far conoscere I Troll e le loro magiche storie.

Ny Form Trolle auf der MACEF-MesseZweimal im Jahr findet eine große Messe außerhalb von Mailand (Italien) statt. Unser Vertreiber, Secot, nimmt regelmäßig an dieser Messe teil, und in diesem Jahr konnten sie wirklich mit einer besonderen Attraktion aufwarten! Sie hatten den Riesentroll in der Messehalle aufgebaut, und dort stand er also, lächelte und lud interessierte Besucher ein, sich die anderen Trolle am Secot-Stand genauer anzusehen. Nach einem langen Sommerurlaub war der Riesentroll zur MACEF-Messe gereist, um dort für einige Tage zu arbeiten. Über einen Monat lang hatte er sich in den Dolomiten, einer der schönsten Gegenden Italiens, aufgehalten. In dieser einzigartigen Berglandschaft war er in einem kleinen Ort der Gast von Luca Weber gewesen, der ihm einen sehr ruhigen Platz vor dem Eingang seines Geschäftes in Moena (Val di Fassa) anbieten konnte.Tausende von Touristen, die in dieser wunderschönen Gegend Urlaub machen, hielten vor dem Geschäft an, um den Troll zu bewundern und ihn zusammen mit ihrer Familie zu fotografieren. Auch auf der Messe war der Riesentroll sehr beliebt: viele Besucher wollten sich mit ihm ablichten lassen.Auf dem Foto könnt Ihr den Riesentroll in Gesellschaft von Matilde sehen, eine der Schwestern von Maria Teresa Perego, die bei Secot arbeitet. Matilde (ihre Freunde nennen sie Mati) hilft Maria Teresa in der Firma: Eigentlich ist sie fürs Lager verantwortlich, doch sie hilft auch sehr gerne bei der Entwicklung von neuen Werbeideen für die Trolle und ihre magischen Geschichten.

Essence– our distributor in The Netherlands

In October we had the pleasure to have Marion Helsloot from Essence on a visit at Brødrene Flaarønning AS. She was here to visit her troll supplier, and we used the chance to ask her about her thoughts of the Ny Form Trolls.

What kind of a company is Essence and where in The Netherlands do we find you?Essence was established in 1998 as a wholesale dealer, and their specialty is fantasy figures. The company is located 20 minutes from Amsterdam.– We are distributors to stores in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.

How did you find out about these trolls?– A request from a fantasy shop in Belgium asking for trolls made the beginning for Essences work with the Ny Form trolls

What makes the Ny Form trolls special to you?– They bring us good luck.

What do you think make these trolls more popular than all the imitations on the market? – That is the high quality, and the fact that every troll is unique.

How is the interest for trolls in the BeNeLux countries these days?– Increasing every day!

Are there any arrangements or activities around trolls in The BeNeLux-countries next year, as far as you know?– Yes, you have the troll weekend at ‘T oude schuurtje, in Belgium, at the end of March/beginning of April next year. That is a troll market.

Who is your favorite troll?– That is no 294! (You can see him on the previous side)

Marion showed us this very interesting Magazine from The Netherlands. Here you can read a lot about elfs and other fantasy figurines. In this number there was also something about trolls. Very good!

The Roosen familyThey are from Hoogvliet close to Rotterdam in The Netherlands. They have about 20 to 25 Ny Form trolls and they are all standing in a showcase.The first troll, no. 272, they found in Copenhagen. They have also in there collection the troll no. 276. Further they have bought trolls across whole Netherlands.

Here are their thoughts about nyform trolls:– They have nice structure– The other troll looks like clay

What they would like in the future is: – More information to find about the Ny Form trolls, and that troll shops have more different Ny Form trolls, bigger collection.

The first weekend in April, this year, there was a Troll Weekend at ‘T Oude Schuurtje in Hamont in Belgium. Joop Cleijne was there, both to visit his friend Stefan Boonen who is the man behind this

arrangement, and to feel the atmosphere among the trolls and the collectors. As the enthusiastic collector he is, Joop has spoken to a lot

of collectors this weekend, and here is his report.

Leonas favourite - no. 109

The Smeets familyThey comes from Dilsenstokem in BelgiumLeona, the daughter, and her mother collect Ny Form trolls, but they also collect trolls like Grimberger, Fosse and Pixie. The mother also likes hand made dolls.They likes Ny Form Trolls very much, and Leonas favourite is no. 109 and no. 266. She has finally bought the no. 266 and some other Ny Form trolls to bring home. They have eight Ny Form trolls.What they like to have is an exchange market, and they have looked their eye’s out at the display by het oude schuurtje!

Troll weekendNel primo fine settimana di Aprile di quest’anno si è tenuto il Troll Weekend a ‘T Oude Schuurtje (Hamont) in Belgio. Joop Cleijne è stata lì, per visitare il suo amico Stefan Boonen – organizzatore dell’evento, e per immergersi nell’atmosfera di questa manifestazione, fatta per I troll e per I loro amici. Essendo un’appassionata collezio-nista, Joop non ha perso l’occasione per scambiare opinioni ed idee con gli altri collezionisti presenti, e ha riassunto per noi le sue “interviste”.

La famiglia RoosenVengono da Hoogvliet, a due passi da Rotterdam, in Olanda. Hanno più di 20 troll Ny Form trolls, che hanno sistemato in una vetrina. Il loro primo troll, il no. 272, l’hanno trovato a Copenhagen. Nella loro collezione c’è anche il troll no. 276. Gli altri troll della collezione li hanno comperati un po’ in giro per l’Olanda. Si sono appassionati ai troll Ny Form perché sono molto ben fatti, diversamente dalle imitazioni, che sembrano fatte di creta. Vorrebbero che in futuro fosse possibile avere più informazioni sui troll della Ny Form e trovare collezioni ancora più grandi di troll Ny Form nei negozi, con un numero maggiore di modelli tra cui scegliere.

La famiglia SmeetsSono originari di Dilsenstokem, Belgio. Leona e sua madre collezio-nano Ny Form troll, ma anche altri troll come i Grimberger, Fosse e i Pixie. Alla mamma piacciono anche le bambole fatte a mano. Leona e sua mamma amano molto i troll; quelli che Leona preferisce sono il n°109 e il n° 266. E per sua grande gioia Leona è riuscita a comprare proprio il n° 266 e a portarlo a casa insieme ad altri troll. In tutto hanno otto Ny Form troll a casa. Leona e sua mamma vorrebbero tanto avere un posto dove scambiare i troll con altri appassionati e quando hanno visto l’esposizione di Het Oude Schuurtje non riuscivano a credere ai loro occhi!

Troll weekendAm ersten Wochenende im April dieses Jahres hat in ‘T Oude Schuurtje in Hamont (Belgien) ein Troll-Wochenende stattgefunden. Joop Cleijne ist hingefahren, um seinen Freund Stefan Boonen, den Organisator der Veranstaltung, zu besuchen, und auch, um die besondere Atmosphäre einzufangen, die sich zwischen Trollen und Sammler entwickelt. Da Joop ein begeisterter Sammler ist, hat er an diesem Wochenende mit vielen Gleichgesinnten gesprochen. Hier kommt sein Bericht:

Familie RoosenDie Roosens kommen aus Hoogvliet in der Nähe von Rotterdam in Holland. Sie besitzen ungefähr 20 bis 25 Ny Form Trolle, die in einer Vitrine stehen. Ihren ersten Troll, Nr. 272, fanden sie in Kopenhagen. Außerdem enthält ihre Sammlung auch Troll Nr. 276. Sie haben ihre Trolle über ganz Holland verstreut gekauft.Hier kommt ihre Meinung zu den Ny Form Trollen: Sie haben eine schöne Struktur, die Trolle anderer Hersteller sehen aus, als wären sie aus Ton.Ihr Wunsch für die Zukunft: Mehr Informationen über die Ny Form Trolle und eine größere Auswahl an Ny Form Trollen in den Geschäften, sodass sie ihre Sammlung erweitern können.

Familie SmeetsFamilie Smeets kommt aus Dilsenstokem in Belgien.Tochter Leona und ihre Mutter sammeln Ny Form Trolle, aber sie besitzen auch Trolle von Grimberger, Fosse und Pixie. Außerdem mag die Mutter handgemachte Puppen. Die Ny Form Trolle bereiten ihnen viel Freude und Leonas Lieblingstrolle sind Nr. 109 und Nr. 266, die sie nach langer Zeit des Wartens jetzt endlich erstehen konnte und nun bei sich zu Hause hat. Insgesamt hat Familie Smeets acht Ny Form Trolle. Sie haben sich am Schaufenster von ‘Het Oude Schuurtje schon die Augen aus dem Kopf gestarrt und wünschen sich deshalb eine Tauschbörse!

The Ceulenmans familyThey comes from Lint in Belgium.The first troll was bought in 1993 in Norway during a holiday. That was how they discovered the Ny Form trolls, but not until last year they did really start to collect.

They have now 20 Ny Form trolls in their collection, and they say that the Ny Form troll is the only one for them. The most beautiful troll is 211 they think, and when they talk about trolls they are full of passion. In the future they will like to see that the magazine has more info like how you can make a display for your trolls, like a do it yourself book (they want to make something, but must do the right way).

They think to have an exchange market sounds good, and something more together with the clubtroll, postcards are their favourite but not to commercial.

Saskia Vermuntfrom Ijmuiden, The Netherlandsis collecting Ny Form trolls and have now 40 troll, and one of them is the clubtroll 2006.She is very proud to talk about her trolls. Even when she cleans them she talks with them. They are staying in her living room, in a showcase, and she change it with the seasons. At Easter she put in eggs, and when it is Christmas she put in some snow.What she likes better with Ny Form trolls than others is that the colour look nicer and that they look more real, like they are living! She also likes that there is a special troll made only for collectors.She likes the idea of an exchange market.Her first troll is the no. 128 troll. She is full of passion when she talk about her trolls!

Saskia VermutDa Ljmuiden, Paesi BassiColleziona troll Ny Form e ha attualmente 40 troll, tra cui il troll club 2006. E’ molto orgogliosa di loro. Quando li pulisce parla anche con loro. Custodisce i troll nel salone in una vetrina e in base alla stagione cambia l’ambientazione. A Pasqua mette delle uova e quando è Natale mette un po’ di neve.Preferisce i troll Ny Form rispetto agli altri, perché trova che abbiano un colore più bello e che sembrino più reali, quasi vivi!Le piace molto anche il fatto che ci sia un troll speciale per i collezionisti. Le piace l’idea di un mercato per scambiare i troll.Il primo troll che ha comprato è il n°128. Dovreste sentirla, quando parla dei suoi troll, è piena di passione!

La famiglia CeulenmansAbitano a Lint, Belgio.Hanno comprato il loro primo troll nel 1993, durante una vacanza in Norvegia. E’ in quella occasione che hanno scoperto i Ny Form troll, ma fino all’anno scorso non avevano ancora iniziato a collezionarli. Adesso hanno 20 Ny Form troll e non vogliono altri troll che non siamo Ny Form. Il troll per loro più bello è il 211 e quando parlano dei troll lo fanno con tanta passione. Vorrebbero che in futuro il troll magazine avesse più informazioni per i collezionisti su come ambientare i troll, ad esempio come fare un espositore oppure istruzioni per il fai da te. Hanno tanta voglia di fare qualcosa, ma vogliono farlo nel modo giusto. Pensano che il mercato per lo scambio fra collezionisti sia una buona idea, magari focalizzata sul clubtroll, sulle cartoline, etc, purché non abbia un taglio troppo commerciale.

Joop Cleijne, qui tra due troll è probabilmente la più appassionata fra i nostri collezionisti: quando il suo amico Stefan Boonen ha organizzato un Troll Weekend a Hamount, in Belgio, questa prima-vera, ha colto l’occasione per chiedere agli altri collezionisti cosa pensano dei troll. Joop, grazie per aver condiviso il weekend con noi!

Saskia Vermunt aus Ijmuiden, Hollandsammelt Ny Form Trolle und besitzt bereits 40 Stück; einer von ihnen ist der diesjährige Klubtroll. Saskia ist sehr stolz auf ihre Trolle und redet ständig mit ihnen, sogar wenn sie sie putzt. Die Trolle stehen in einer Vitrine im Wohnzimmer, die je nach Jahreszeit geschmückt wird. Zu Ostern legt sie Eier hinein und zu Weihnachten Schnee. Sie findet Ny Form Trolle besser als andere, da ihre Farben schöner sind und sie echter, ja fast lebendig, aussehen! Außerdem mag sie die Idee, dass es einen besonderen Troll nur für Sammler gibt und dass eine Tauschbörse eingerichtet werden soll. Ihr erster Troll war Nr. 128. Auch Saskia spricht sehr leidenschaftlich von ihren Trollen!

Familie CeulenmansDie Ceulemans kommen aus Lint in Belgien.Ihren ersten Troll kauften sie 1993 während eines Ferienaufenthaltes in Norwegen. Damals entdeckten sie die Ny Form Trolle, doch erst im letzten Jahr haben sie ernsthaft zu sammeln begonnen. Heute besteht ihre Sammlung aus 20 Ny Form Trollen. Die Ceulemans behaupten, dass die Ny Form Trolle die einzig wahren Trolle sind und reden mit großer Leidenschaft von ihnen. Modell Nr. 211 halten sie für das schönste.Von unserem Magazin wünschen sie sich in Zukunft mehr Information darüber, wie man zum Beispiel eine Troll-Ausstellung gestalten kann, vielleicht in Form eines Do-it-yourself-Buches (wenn schon, dann möchten sie es richtig machen).Eine Tauschbörse für Klubtrolle, Postkarten und ähnliches halten sie ebenfalls für eine gute Idee, allerdings sollte sie nicht zu kommerziell sein.

Ich glaube, Joop Cleijne, hier zwischen zwei Trollen, ist unser eifrigster Sammler, und weil sein Freund, Stefan Boonen, diesen Frühling das Troll-Wochenende in Hamont (Belgien) arrangiert hatte, nutzte er die Gelegenheit, einige Sammler zu ihren Trollen zu befragen. Ludy Teunissen from Weert, The Netherlands– 12 years ago our parents gave us the Ny Form troll no. 124 as a gift from Norway, and eight years ago we started to collect trolls ourselves.We have also been in Norway and bought trolls there.

Ludy is the collector, and she can choose between the trolls. – They are all beautiful, she say. She likes no. 261 and 262. They have roughly 100 to 120 Ny Form trolls, and prefer Ny Form more than other trolls. Other trolls are to smooth and the red colour often to bright. The Ny Form trolls have a very nice face impression.– We would have liked to have a troll shop like one we have visited in Norway in The Netherlands too, and we also could like to see that more was done with the trolls in the Netherlands, but not to commercial.

Family Heymans from Heel, The NetherlandsWe likes Ny Form trolls a lot. We have about 50 to 55 trolls.We also have all the clubtrolls and we have collected trolls for ten years now. The first one we got as a gift, and that is how we got to know the trolls and started to collect them. We like no. 071, the troll in the horn, best. We don’t like female trolls. But he is also saying that the troll from two and three years ago where more beautiful than now. He says the troll are starting to look more like Fosse trolls, so he thinks that the old designers should return to Ny Form and that the trollsofnorway site should update more often.

In 2004 they had four Ny Form Trolls, and at the troll weekend they have managed to collect 55 trolls!!The son and his girlfriend are most active and his favourite troll is the club troll 2004. His girlfriend like no. 251 and 267 best.They think the trolls have a personal character and are very nice to look at. They also like the club items a lot.

Siamo stati anche noi in Norvegia e ne abbiamo comprati li. Ludy è in realtà la collezionista, dice sempre che non riesce a scegliere perché sono tutti belli! Le piacciono soprattutto il n° 261 e il n° 262. H quasi tutti i troll Ny Form dal n°100 al n°120 e preferisce i Ny Form a tutti gli altri. Gli altri troll sono troppo lisci e spesso hanno un colore rossastro. I troll Ny Form invece hanno un’espressione proprio carina!- Ci piacerebbe che anche nel nostro paese ci fossero negozi di troll come quelli che abbiamo visto in Norvegia. Si può dire che sono state fatte tante cose riguardo ai troll nei Paesi Bassi, ma non pubblicità.

Il nostro troll preferito è il n° 071, quello nel corno. Non ci piacciono molto i troll femmina e riteniamo che i troll di due, tre anni fa erano più belli di quelli di adesso. Assomigliano sempre di più ai troll della Fosse. Dovrebbe tornare il vecchio designer alla Ny Form e bisognerebbe avere un ricambio di modelli più frequente.

Ludy Teunissen aus Weert, Holland– Vor 12 Jahren haben unsere Eltern uns den Ny Form Troll Nr. 124 als Geschenk aus Norwegen mitgebracht, und vor acht Jahren haben wir angefangen, Trolle zu sammeln. Wir waren auch schon in Norwegen und haben dort Trolle gekauft. Ludy ist die Sammlerin in der Familie und es ist ihre Aufgabe, die Trolle auszusuchen. – Sie sind wunderschön, sagt sie. Besonders gerne mag sie Nr. 261 und 262. Zusammen haben sie ungefähr 100 bis 120 Ny Form Trolle, die sie den Trollen anderer Hersteller vorziehen, da diese zu glatt sind und ihre rote Farbe oft zu hell leuchtet. Die Ny Form Trolle haben einen schönen Gesichtsausdruck. – Wir hätten gerne so ein Troll-Geschäft in Holland, wie wir es in Norwegen gesehen haben. Außerdem wünschen wir uns mehr Trollveranstaltungen, die allerdings nicht zu kommerziell sein sollten.

The Van Kralingen family from Zoetermeer, The NetherlandsThe family has collected Ny Form trolls for 16 years, and now they have displayed their trolls in a showcase in their home. There they have painted a wall with a landscape and hanged up som shelves in front. They have 45 Ny Form trolls in their collection, and also a couple of Fossetrolls. But they like Ny Form best! Their first troll was no. 122. They went mad about the trolls when they was on a holiday in Norway. Now they buy trolls both when they are in Norway, and of course in the Netherlands. They have almost all the clubtrolls, but they are missing the clubtroll from ‘97.What they like to see in the future is: More attention to the trolls like a local magazine and more organized activities around the trolls.

The Freihoff family from Brussels in Bel-giumThey have collected Ny Form trolls for many, many years and they are now the lucky owners of 86 trolls. The first troll they got was a gift and they felt in love with them straight away. After that they have bought trolls in London, at a Christmas market in Germany and in a shop in Mechelen in Belgium. There is no troll shop in Brussels anymore, they say. They have all the clubtrolls. They are not so found of the troll with 3 or 2 heads, but they do like the troll with a flower and the family troll. They have also been in the magazine, and they won no 204 as price.

This is what they say about the trolls: They are beautiful from ugliness!What she like’s to see in the future is: A local magazine, more troll weekends and an exchange market.

Hanno 45 Ny Form troll nella loro collezione e anche due Fossetroll. Ma dicono che i Ny Form sono i migliori! Il loro primo troll è stato il n° 122. Quando sono andati in Norvegia sono diventati matti! Adesso comprano i troll sia quando vanno in Norvegia, sia nei Paesi Bassi. Hanno quasi tutti i troll club, ma non hanno quello del 1997. Vorrebbero che in futuro venisse data più attenzione al magazine locale e che venissero organizzate più attività intorno ai troll.

La famiglia Freihoff da Brussels, BelgioHanno collezionato troll per tanti, tanti anni e adesso possiedono ben 86 troll. Il primo troll è stato loro regalato e subito si sono innamorati di lui! Hanno comprato troll a Londra, in un mercatino di natale in Germania e in un negozio a Mechelen in Belgio. Non ci sono ancora negozi a Bruxelles, dicono. Hanno tutti i troll club. Non amano molto i troll con due o tre teste, ma trovano molto carini i troll con un fiore e le famiglie. Sono apparsi sul magazine e hanno vinto il n°204.Questo è ciò che dicono dei troll: Sono belli per la loro bruttezza! In futuro speriamo di avere un magazine locale, più troll weekend e un mercato per lo scambio.

When I look up the picture for this number they do not look alike. Mine looks like no. 139 but he has short hair and a beard.

Hi BarbaraI know that from time to time the Ny Form fabric has used the number of an old troll on a new troll. I beleive that is what has happened here, and that the picture you found is of a recent troll than yours, but with the same number.

Alter TrollIch besitze einen Ny Form Troll mit Originaletikett – dort steht, dass er die Artikelnummer 137 hat. Vor über 15 Jahren habe ich den Troll als Geschenk erhalten. Wenn ich mir heute die Bilder für diese Nummer ansehe, stelle ich keinerlei Ähnlichkeiten fest. Meiner gleicht dem Troll Nr. 139, allerdings hat er kürzeres Haar und einen Bart.

Vecchio TrollHo un troll Ny Form con il suo cartellino originale – dice che è il n° 137. Mi è stato regalato più di 15 anni fa. Quando guardo la foto sul catalogo, però, non mi sembra corrisponda al numero 137, ma che assomigli di più al 139, ma con i capelli corti e la barba.

Ciao Barbara,so che nel corso del tempo la Ny Form ha usato numeri di vecchi troll per modelli nuovi. Credo che sia quello che è successo nel tuo caso e che la foto che tu hai trovato sia di modelli più recenti del tuo, ma con lo stesso numero.

Hi Marit,I am very happy that you wrote to me because now I know that my beautiful family of Troll will be published in “our” magazine. I received My first Troll, no. 18, as a present from Mara, my wife, around 10 years ago and from that day our family is increased more and more ... Every year my collection has 2 - 3 new friends that bring more and more joy in our little house. They love to sleep with us in our bedroom but I think that very soon I will be obliged to build for them a special little room. Today, as you have seen from the pictures, I have 35 Trolls and soon the new Club Troll 2006 will join them, (in fact I am a little concerned, due to the small number of Trolls available, 1200 pieces. Let’s hope I will succeed in finding one of them !!!!!

Since I’m such an avid lover of Trolls, I had to write and tell you my exciting news. I have a friend that makes custom made jewelry.

She made me a sterling ring with a troll on it, sitting at a tea table! (I belong to a tea guild as well). The table is made out of a porcelein chip from a broken tea creamer at one of our functions. It is one-of-a-kind that I will treasure always and it demonstrates fantastic workmanship! Now I can have a “troll” with me at all times. When you look at the ring, you can see her large nose immediately and she has a big open smile. She is wearing a large Victorian style hat. (That’s because our Ladies Tea Guild dress in Victorian style clothing at our meetings.) The Troll has her arms outstretched holding a piece of the porcelein that broke at one of our meetings. On the ring you can see her long legs and tail on the back of her. She even has boobs that rest on the porcelein! This is the best gift I have ever received! Now I need to give her a name!

Siccome sono un’appassionata dei Troll devo scrivervi e raccontarvi questa eccitante notizia. Ho un amico che fa gioielli. Ha fatto per me un anello con sopra un vero e proprio troll, seduto su un tavolino da tè! (sono anche socia di un “tea club”). Il tavolino è fatto con un pezzo di porcellana, che ha preso da una tazzina rotta . E’ un esemplare unico e dimostra che fantastico artista sia! Adesso posso avere un troll con me tutto il tempo. Se guardate l’anello, potete vedere il suo grosso naso e un gran sorriso. Indossa un largo cappello stile vittoriano (questo perchè le ragazze del mio circolo del tè indossano vestiti in stile vittoriano agli incontri). Il Troll ha le braccia distese, che tengono un pezzo di porcellana che si è rotto durante i nostri incontri. Sull’anello potete vedere le sue lunghe gambe e la coda dietro di lei. Questo è il più bel regalo che abbia mai ricevuto. Adesso devo solo darle un nome!

Da ich eine sehr leidenschaftliche Trollliebhaberin bin, musste ich unbedingt schreiben, um Euch von meinen aufregenden Neuigkeiten zu erzählen. Ich habe eine Freundin, die Schmuck nach Maß herstellt. Sie hat für mich einen silbernen Ring, der eine Trollfrau an einem Teetisch darstellt, angefertigt. (Ich bin übrigens auch Mitglied in einem Teeklub). Der Tisch ist aus einem Stückchen Porzellan hergestellt, das von einer zerbrochenen Teekanne stammt. Der Ring ist ein Einzelstück, das ich sehr zu schätzen weiß und das außerdem fantastisches handwerkliches Können demonstriert! Ab jetzt habe ich jederzeit einen „Troll“ bei mir. Wenn man den Ring betrachtet, sieht man sofort die große Nase und das offenes Lächeln der Trollfrau. Sie trägt einen großen Hut im viktorianischen Stil. (Weil auch wir bei den Treffen unseres Frauen-Teeklubs Kleidung in diesem Stil tragen). Am ausgestreckten Arm hält sie ein Stückchen des Porzellans, das bei einem unserer Treffen zerbrochen ist. Am Ring kann man ihre langen Beine und den Schwanz am Hinterteil sehen. Sogar Brüste hat die Trollfrau; sie ruhen auf dem Porzellan. Dies ist das beste Geschenk, das ich jemals erhalten habe! Jetzt fehlt der Trollfrau nur noch ein Name!

Hallo Marit,Ich bin sehr froh, dass Du mir geschrieben hast. Jetzt weiß ich, dass meine wunderbare Trollfamilie in „unserem“ Magazin veröffentlicht wird.Meinen ersten Troll, Nr. 18, habe ich vor ungefähr zehn Jahren als Geschenk von meiner Frau Mara erhalten und seitdem ist unsere Familie stetig größer geworden…Jedes Jahr kommen zwei bis drei neue Freunde zu meiner Sammlung hinzu und bringen mehr und mehr Freude in unser kleines Haus.Die Trolle schlafen liebend gerne in unserem Schlafzimmer, aber ich glaube, wir müssen bald ein eigenes kleines Zimmer für sie anbauen.Wie Du auf den Bildern sehen kannst, habe ich derzeit 35 Trolle und schon sehr bald wird der neue Klubtroll 2006 bei uns einziehen. Ich bin allerdings ein bisschen beunruhigt, da nur eine geringe Anzahl dieser Trolle vorrätig ist, nur 1200 Stück. Hoffentlich, kann ich einen von ihnen ergattern!!! I was there with friends to visit people of Sagene Janitsjarkorps, who played that year in Kerkrade at the WMC, that means World Music Contest.Later I visited Norway more for holidays

and in 1994 we went with 7 friends to the North Cape.So I have now about 40 trolls and hope to get still some more.The trolls bring me happyness and when I am down they always make me feel better when I look at them.Here are some pictures of me and my friends.

Hello, I am Nicolle Slegers from Malden in The Netherlands. I am 11 years old and have collected Ny Form trolls for about a year. It started with a lecture I did at school about the Ny Form Trolls. I have already five trolls and they stand on a shelf in my bedroom. Now and then I talk with them. My dad put up the shelf and the cardboard, but I have decorated it myself

with flowers, trees, trunk and some moss.These are my trolls: no. 52, no. 54, no. 114, no. 115 and no. 709. Now I have a nice idea for you. A pendant to hang on the mobile phone formed as a little troll.

Hallo, ich bin Nicolle Slegers aus Malden in Holland. Ich bin elf Jahre alt und sammle seit ungefähr einem Jahr Ny Form Trolle. Hallo Marit!Ich lebe im Süden von Holland, in Heerlen, ungefähr zehn Kilometer von der deutschen Grenze entfernt.Meinen ersten Troll habe ich 1978 gekauft, als ich zum ersten Mal in Oslo war. Successivamente sono venuto in vacanza in Norvegia e l’ho potuta visitare meglio e nel 1994 sono andato con 7 amici a Capo Nord. Adesso ho 40 troll e spero di averne sempre di più. Heavy and intricate bass and drums, shim-meringly beautiful songs and a devil-may-care fiddle cloaked by folk music melody, says a journalist describing the Norwegian band Lumsk and their new CD “TROLL”. He further describes them as follows:

A brutish folk music monster on the verge of making a breakthrough—as there is little doubt that the material they offer on “Troll” has the potential to give the band their well-deserved breakthrough, not just nationally but internationally.

“Troll” is the second album from the Trondheim-based band Lumsk, but is Harstad singer Stine Mari Langstrand’s recording debut with the group. The contrast which Langstrand manages to create between her angelic shimmering song and the tough, heavy metal bass and drums—not to mention Siv Lena Laugtug’s fiddle—is well on the way to being a trademark for the band. So it’s a bit of a mystery as to why they move away from this formula on a couple of the songs. But if you don’t get hung up on this, Troll contains a number of emphatically powerful tracks such as “Nøkken”, “Dunker”, “Trolltind”, “Allvis” and “Byttingen” —perhaps more a folk music symphony than just a collection of good songs.

Arrangements including a choir, strings and winds are also ingeniously woven into the production, neither disturbing when present nor missed when absent. A successful seasoning which raises the production level and strengthens its dynamic aspect.

Those who’ve seen Lumsk live know that this is an ensemble which makes sparks fly. On “Troll” they’ve taken a step in the direction of an expression which is more complete and idiosyncratic, apparently without having in mind an audience in one camp or another.

Highly ambitious, the musicians of Lumsk are also extremely technically skilled one and all—managing to create music which is at once both heavy, progressive, dynamic and shimmeringly beautiful.
