After the initial meeting we carried out some preliminary research based around palm trees, paradise and tranquillity, to visually represent the ethos of the Oasis Project. This research then informed the design angle for the first draft of logos.
At the initial meeting we also had discussions on possible words associated with the project and colour palette options.

The initial logo made a feature of the ‘O’ of Oasis, a visual play on a place/service that is going to be an body of tranquillity. A place of escapism for the services clientele. The original colour palette feature a hot orange to lift spirits, however the final logo seen on the right hand side introduces the cool calm minty green already featured through out the chaplaincy.
