Welcome to this edition of the Tradewinds Newsletter A huge ldquoThank Yourdquo to my staff and

everyone who participated in the activities during National Senior Center Month OASIS had 11

unique activities planned throughout the month of September in addition to the 40 or so

regularly scheduled programs and classes I donrsquot know how they do it but the staff Irsquom

fortunate to work with always makes it look easy It isnrsquot easy though so I take my hat off to

them and to the people that participate Your smiles and laughter at these events keep us going

Speaking of OASIS staff it is my absolute pleasure to introduce Mrs Mary Tawzer as our new

Programs Coordinator She has been with us since September 13th as Julie Posada had to step

down unexpectedly Mary hit the ground running as they say and has some exciting events and

trips in the works Shersquos looking forward to meeting everyone

Last month I told you how wersquove been working to get OASIS Members more discounts at

locally owned businesses in the area I told you about Jackrsquos Restaurant Entourage Salon

and Anytime Fitness This month Irsquod like to let you know that Old Town Market is renewing

These meals are made primarily from scratch Fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables are served to ensure that we influence good eating habits and provide the best nutrition possible The only canned fruits and vegetables used are pineapple mandarin oranges and tomato sauce The breads and pastas are whole grain and the rice we use is brown We are dedicated to providing healthy and good tasting foods to our clients We have quarterly menu conferences at which we take comments from our clients and use them to make improvements to the seasonal cycles If you have any input comments compliments or suggestions please give them to your staff contact so that they can bring the information to us at the next menu conference Thank you Enjoy

Welcome to this edition of the Tradewinds Newsletter A huge ldquoThank Yourdquo to my staff and

everyone who participated in the activities during National Senior Center Month OASIS had 11

unique activities planned throughout the month of September in addition to the 40 or so

regularly scheduled programs and classes I donrsquot know how they do it but the staff Irsquom

fortunate to work with always makes it look easy It isnrsquot easy though so I take my hat off to

them and to the people that participate Your smiles and laughter at these events keep us going

Speaking of OASIS staff it is my absolute pleasure to introduce Mrs Mary Tawzer as our new

Programs Coordinator She has been with us since September 13th as Julie Posada had to step

down unexpectedly Mary hit the ground running as they say and has some exciting events and

trips in the works Shersquos looking forward to meeting everyone

Last month I told you how wersquove been working to get OASIS Members more discounts at

locally owned businesses in the area I told you about Jackrsquos Restaurant Entourage Salon

and Anytime Fitness This month Irsquod like to let you know that Old Town Market is renewing

These meals are made primarily from scratch Fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables are served to ensure that we influence good eating habits and provide the best nutrition possible The only canned fruits and vegetables used are pineapple mandarin oranges and tomato sauce The breads and pastas are whole grain and the rice we use is brown We are dedicated to providing healthy and good tasting foods to our clients We have quarterly menu conferences at which we take comments from our clients and use them to make improvements to the seasonal cycles If you have any input comments compliments or suggestions please give them to your staff contact so that they can bring the information to us at the next menu conference Thank you Enjoy
