• Charity Open Access Fund (Wellcome Trust, Arthritis Research UK, Breast Cancer
Campaign, the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research)
• Wellcome Trust monographs and book chapters
• Chief Scientist’s Office Scotland and some others do provide some funds - but many do not.
• European FP7 completed awards - open access publications
• No general University funds

DON’T AGREE TO PAY WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING WITH US!
Some enquiries but none eligible so far – not fully open access journals, or projects are still running
Identify Relevant Papers from Incoming Mail
What does the Open Access service do?
• Check funder requirements • Check the publisher copyright policy
• Advise author on open access options
• Pay the open access cost from money provided by funders if appropriate
• Deposit Accepted Final Manuscript into Repository
