Liverpool Business School (LBS)Talks for programmes within the Business School will be held in the Redmonds Building, which is located nearto the Art and Design Academy. Student helpers will be around to direct you. LBS have devised a programmewhich includes a general talk covering all Business programmes every hour. The group will then be split for theprogramme specific sessions and visitors will be shown to breakout rooms for the opportunity to meet academicstaff and find out more detailed course information.

The Joe H Makin Drama Centre is a 10 minute walk from the Art and DesignAcademy. Walking toursIf you would prefer to walk to a university building for your faculty talk or tour, StudentHelpers are on hand to direct you. Pick up a map from an Information Point.
Coach toursCoaches will run regularly throughout the day, transporting you to teaching buildings withinIM Marsh and City Campus. The Coach Park is located on Mount Pleasant, where StudentHelpers and university staff will be waiting to assist you.
Coaches will also take visitors back to the Art and Design Academy, should you wish to returnto the ADA at any point. Please arrive at the Coach Park at least 30 minutes before your talkor tour is due to start to allow for travel time.

disability, finance and welfareStudent Advice and WellbeingVisit the Student Advice and Wellbeing stand in RB036 in the RedmondsBuilding, close to the Art and Design Academy. Staff can give expert advice onall aspects of student funding, including eligibility, how to apply and how youwill be supported whilst you are studying. They can discuss with you yourStudent Loan application, tuition fees and any grants you may be able to applyfor. They can also advise you about additional financial support such as theDisabled Students Allowance, help with childcare costs and scholarships. Theteam also give advice about benefits and how they will be affected by anystudent income you may receive.

ParkingWhilst there is no onsite parking at the Art and Design Academy, there are plenty of car parkingoptions in the immediate area. The closest multi-storey car park is located on Mount Pleasant(see map.)

The Art and Design Academy is situated adjacent to the Metropolitan Cathedral and can beaccessed from Great Orford Street, off Mount Pleasant.
DirectionsRoad – from the M62 at the end of the motorway continue straight ahead onto Edge Lane(A5080 then A5047) and follow the signs for Liverpool City Centre and the MetropolitanCathedral. Postcode for satellite navigation is L3 5RD.
