More than a million individuals across the world suf-fers from chronic renal insufficiency, which means that their renal function will never again become normal and they need renal replacement therapy.

DialysisForum, the new dialysis treatment centre of the North Estonia Medical Centre´s Department of Dialysis and Nephrology in downtown Tallinn, offers quality haemodialysis for people visiting Tallinn and requiring dialysis treatment.

DialysisForum is equipped with new Fresenius 5008 dialysis machines and full capacity water treatment system, which enable both haemodialysis (HD) as well as online haemodiafiltration (HDF) to be carried out. All used consumables are single-use. Dialysis is carried out by experienced and highly qualified per-sonnel.

Forum Centre

The new dialysis treatment centre opened in 2009 offers a friendly, pleasant and comfortable environment in addition to top-level treatment.

The price of one haemodialysis procedure is 232 EUR.

The treatment for European Union citizens travelling to other European Union countries and who have a European Health Insurance Card, will be paid by their home-country´s health insurance. Patients must have an identity document and the Health Insurance Card.

The North Estonia Medical Centre is the biggest hospital offering specialised medical treatment in Northern Estonia. About 400,000 patients visit the hospital each year and more than 3600 people – doctors, nurses, caregivers – work with them.

We use comprehensive medical knowledge and treatment methods, high-tech diagnostics and medical appliances and effective medicines for the high quality and safe treatment of patients.

We give planned and emergency treatment in the Department of Dialysis and Nephrology of the Medical Centre. The department has 17 beds for investigation and treatment of people suffering from renal diseases. We also carry out renal replacement therapy – haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and the treatment of patients with renal graft.We do about 6000 dialyses annually.

DialysisForum is situated in the heart of the beautiful Hanseatic town of Tallinn, right next to the Old Town and shopping malls. There is a wide choice of hotels of different price brackets nearby. Connections with Tallinn’s ports and airport are good.
