Let’s give thanks as we gather again for worship together. Wednesday, June 3, 7pm Sundays in June, 10am on the North Lawn @ Grace Outdoor Worship Plan We’re excited to gather in person on Wednesday evening. It’s been many weeks since we’ve had the opportunity to be together in person like this, and we are so very grateful. On the following page, we’ve outlined our plan, and for the following Sundays, we hope to continue in this way with possibly a few minor changes. Be sure to read any updates to our plan online or in an email after Wednesday. As we are well aware, there are various views and comfort levels in our community and church family as to gathering together. Our neighbors will be watching to see if we care about them, and we want as many of our congregation as possible to have a sense of safety in being in a large group. So, if you come, please maintain the social distancing guidelines of at least 6 feet between you (or your family) and others. Also, even though we are going to be outdoors, please consider wearing a mask, at least as you transition to and from your spot on the lawn. Again, we want to communicate to one another and our neighbors that we are part of the Lawrence community and we care about each other.

Outdoor Worship Plan

We’re excited to gather in person on Wednesday evening.

Worship from your car. Park to walk… …and find a seat on the lawn.

Here’s the plan. Before arriving, decide where you’ll sit (car or lawn).

A few other considerations…• If you think it unwise for you to attend, please feel the freedom to join via livestream from home.

• Restrooms will be available, but we ask that you do your best not to need them. Parents must accompany children to the Family Restroom. Other restrooms should be used by one person at a time. Enter and exit via the opened front door of the sanctuary lobby or the opened door near the playground.

• Bulletins will be published on the website and via email. If you prefer a printed copy, we ask you to print at home. (If that’s impossible, let your usher know and we can help.)

• We’ll have a Welcome Desk should you need First Aid or help with other questions or concerns.

• Jenny will email parents with other details for families. The playground will not be available.

• Please pray with us for this time.

If you choose to worship from your car, please enter the parking lot from the north entrance, Huntington Drive. Parking attendants will direct you to your parking space. We’ll park every other space to distance appropriately, and ask that you remain in or around your car for the service.

After the service, please leave via the same Huntington Drive exit.

Ushers will direct you to a circle for your family unit. Your family may need two circles, and that’s just fine. Should you need a spot closer to the front for hearing or closer to the back for restroom access, just let the usher know. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. The circles will help maintain distancing, so please don’t wander more than necessary. After the service, ushers will dismiss each circle.

If you choose to sit on the lawn, please enter the parking lot through the south entrance on Calvin Drive, where parking attendants will direct you. You’ll then walk along the sidewalk to the lawn. Please maintain appropriate social distancing. Also, note that both children and cars will be in that lot simultaneously, so hold children’s hands and drive carefully. After the service, please leave via the same Calvin Drive exit.
