Humble beginnings

• 10% mobilization draw: no cash flow, limited capital.

S500 federally funded Flood mitigation project.

LIDAR study (aerial elevation view of the land of Peguis) identified 486+ housing units that are located in reserve flood prone zone. These units need to be addressed in the form of relocating, being diked or replaced.

Mold abatement of 50 units

• 21 local members trained in mold abatement through Pinchin Environmental.• Housing units abated

before rebuilding.• Phase 1 project came

next with the replacement of 9 units.

Diking

• C.P installed numerous dikes for those families that refused to be relocated from their land.

Manitoba Hydro Pilot Project

• Trained local workers in geothermal installs• Peguis First Nation is proud to begin the process of

training 15 local band members to participate in the Geothermal Trades Training Program. This program is a community partnership involving Peguis Band, C.P. Construction L.P, Peguis Training & Employment, Public Works, and also Peguis Housing.

Geothermal MOU signed with Manitoba Hydro, Aki Energy, Province of Manitoba, Peguis.

Peguis Multi-plex • A $17 million state of the

art Multi-plex facility was recognized, upon completion, as the most energy efficient recreation complex in Manitoba. • C.P was the main

subcontractor under the General Contractor, NDL Construction.

• C.P constructed 90% of the Multi-plex (with the capacity internally to address – for the most part – all trades). • C.P also addresses all the infrastructure internally: roads, fields, etc.

• C.P entered into a pilot project with Manitoba Hydro to install solar panels to solely heat hot water tanks. • 20 units installed and 3

monitors installed. • Awaiting results of

savings per install.

• Install of a commercial Geothermal in City of Winnipeg at 1075 Portage Ave. 2 million dollar project. • God’s River First Nation to construct 3 lodges in the spring of 2016.• Little Saskatchewan First Nation relocation of 120 residential units,

with Architecture 49.• RCMP detachment in Peguis – $5 million.• S500 to address 486+ units within the Peguis flood zone. • MOU signed with the Province of Manitoba, AKI, Manitoba Hydro, to

install 500 more PAYS units.

• Assiniboia Downs • In 2013, Peguis purchased lands at Assiniboia Downs just beyond the

perimeter of the City of Winnipeg with the vision to construct a hotel/conference facility along with a casino.

• Kapyong Barracks • Peguis is a major player in Canada when it comes to Treaty 1 negotiations

respecting the sale and potential development of Kapyong Barracks in the city of Winnipeg.

• Stuart Olson – The forks in Winnipeg.
