This testing facility is composed of a dedicated unit for oxygen
adiabatic compression test; this test can be applied to fittings,
valves, pressure reducer, gauges, and flexible hoses; the test
qualifies the validity of the equipment subject to testing for
oxygen use at a given pressure

The equipment design allows to carry out the tests according to
the following Rules: EN ISO 10524-2:2006 6.2.7 Pressure regulators
for use with medical gas. The rule is specifically dedicated to
test ignition resistance of pressure regulators.EN ISO 10297:2006
6.14 Transportable gas cylinder – Cylinder valves – Specification
and type testing.
O2 shock test management system
The equipment is completely followed by a management program,
installed on a dedicated test station, that allows to acquire
signals coming from the instruments, and to drive the
pressurization and depressurization. Test parameters can also be
changed so as to configure the machine to different standards.The
software manages the steps of the adiabatic test in full safety,
with sequential checks on the test parameters and sensor data.The
data acquisition stage is crucial for the success of the test since
it allows to display both the curve of the cycle of impact, and the
correct temperature of the pre-heating oxygen; the program also
automatically issues a report for immediate reading of the test
data.

As a result of the tests, a complete photographic report
covering the inspection of the tested equipment is issued. Customer
surveyors can attend the tests together with a third part (RINA,
DNV, Lloyd’s, etc).
