The Pac-12 posted has posted a winning re-cord outside league for 30 consecutive sea-sons . . . The Pac-12 recorded a 37-9 record in non-conference action last season, post-ing the most wins ever outside of conference play. Since 1934, only one other season wit-nessed the Conference capture more than 29 wins in non-league play - 2002 (32-15) when the league played an eight game conference schedule, allowing an additional 10 non-con-ference games to be played.

PAC-12 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE: Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA

DEFENSE: Peter Kalambayi, LB, Stanford

SPECIAL TEAMS: Ishmael Adams, DB, UCLA

SAN FRANCISCO - Quarterback Brett Hundley of UCLA, linebacker Peter Kalambayi of STANFORD and defensive back Ishmael Adams of UCLA have been named offensive, defensive and special teams Pac-12 Players of the Week in football.

Hundley, a junior from Chandler, Ariz., threw for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth to lead UCLA to a 62-27 win at No. 15 Arizona State last week. The four scoring passes tied Hundley’s personal best and two of his scoring tosses went for 80 yards to Jordan Payton and Eldridge Massington. The touchdowns made him the first UCLA player to ever complete two passes of at least 80 yards in one game. Hundley connected on 18-of-23 attempts for 355 yards. Hundley’s 427 yards of total offense were the fifth-most in school history and extended his own school record to 13 games with 300 yards of total offense. He also became the first UCLA player in school history to have three career games with 400 yards total offense, moving past Cade McNown who had two.

Kalambayi, a sophomore from Tulsa, Okla., became the first Stanford player to record three sacks in a game since 2011, (Shayne Skov) to help the Cardinal defeat Washington 20-13. Kalambayi accounted for 35 negative yards on tackles for loss. He finished the game with six total tackles (five solo). Kalambayi leads a Stanford defense that ranks first in the nation in total defense, surrendering only 198.0 ypg, and is first in the nation in scoring, only giving up 6.5 ppg. The Cardinal have allowed opponents into the red zone only three times this season.

Adams, a junior from Woodland Hills, Calif., earned honors as the special teams Player of the Week for the second time this season after returning a kick 100 yards for a touchdown to push UCLA to victory over Arizona State, 62-27. It was UCLA’s first kickoff return for a score since 2007 (Matthew Slater). Adams also had kick returns of 25 yards, 44 yards, and 20 yards to go along with his 100-yarder. His total of 201 kick return yards is just short of the single-game school record total of 206 (Terrance Austin, 2008). Adams also returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown to put UCLA ahead 27-17 with two seconds remaining in the half.

He had punts of 44, 59, 52, 57, 44, 41 and 65 yards and held All-America return man Ty Montgomery to one return for just two yards. He had three punts downed inside the 20 and none went into the endzone. Montgomery after the game: “He was the best punter I’ve seen. He was putting the ball all over the field. I think most of his punts were over 50 yards. It was incredible and frustrating as a punt returner.”

PAC-12 BOWL ARRANGEMENTS - 2014-15

The Pac-12 is in the first year of a six-year agreement with seven bowl partners that should provide the Conference with a competitive post-season bowl experience. The lineup is led by the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual, which is the destination for the Pac-12 champion. In addition to the Rose Bowl, Pac-12 bowl partners include the Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, the National University Holiday Bowl in San Diego, the San Francisco Bowl, the Hyundai Sun Bowl in El Paso, the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl, and the Cactus Bowl in Tempe. In 2014-15, the Rose Bowl Game is slotted as one of the College Football Playoff semifinal games. If no Pac-12 team was in the top four of the College Football Playoff poll following the 2014 season it would not have a team in the Rose Bowl. The displaced Pac-12 Champion and any other Pac-12 team ranked high enough would fill a berth in the other four bowls (Orange, Atlanta, Fiesta and Cotton Bowls). When the Rose Bowl does not host a semifinal game, the Pac-12 champion would play in the Rose Bowl unless it was ranked in the top four and would play in one of the semifinal games. The Pac-12 would back-fill the Rose Bowl game if the Pac-12 champion was in the top four and playing in one of the semifinal games.

Bylaw 17.9.5.2) shall not be included. 6. Coin toss.

Multiple-Team Ties.In the event of a tie for a division championship between more than two teams, the following procedure shall be used to eliminate all but two tied teams, at which point the two-team tie-breaking procedure shall be used.
