Dear Middle School Parents,
It has been a busy me this week with students throughout middle school
preparing nal projects and assessments. From wring, solving problems,
demonstrang skills, and presentaons, students have been engaged at high
levels to show evidence of their learning and to reect on their year.
Grade 8 will complete their Advocang for Change on Thursday next
week with their summit and creaon of their manifesto for change. It has
been encouraging for students to have received replies to leers wrien to
various ocials based on the area they have been researching and sup-
porng. This include issues of urbanizaon and resource use to child
rights. The AFC day will be followed by a service learning day on Fri-
day culminang in the Moving on Ceremony Wednesday June 3 at 4:00
p.m. in the Fine Arts Theater.
Our nal day for students in grades 5, 6 and 7 is Thursday June 4 with dismis-
sal at 12:00. We have a modied schedule for the day with some grade level
acvies and a nal assembly from11:30 - 12:00. Students will receive their
Salinlahi yearbook in the nal week of school. Semester 2 report cards will
be available via the parent portal on Friday June 6 - a separate email will be
sent with instrucons for
how to access.

IDs for the New School Year
Parent IDs
The previously issued black and white parent IDs willconnue to be valid for the new school year. The old
parent IDs (burgundy) issued before 2013 are no
longer valid and must be replaced. Standard parent
cards will be issued free of charge. Parents may,
however, elect to apply for a smartcard ID which will
be usable with the cashless payment system intro-
duced into the school for SY 2013-14. There will be a
fee of P250.00 for a smartcard.
Applicaons for parent IDs can be processed through
the Security Oce.
Student IDs
All students will be issued with new ID cards at the
beginning of the new school year. The cards will be
compable with the cashless payment system. There
will be no need for returning students to visit the Se-
curity Oce as we will be ulizing the photographs
taken for the yearbooks.
School Passes
School passes issued to parent’s employees and rep-
resentaves need to be replaced for next school
year. As of August 31, 2015 (Monday) the dark
green bordered passes will be invalid.
The security oce is now accepng applicaons for
new school passes, however the cards will not be
available for collecon before July 1, 2015. These
passes will not be compable with the cashless pay-
ment system.
Each family will be given two free school pass-
es. Addional school passes may be obtained aerpaying a processing fee of Php100.00 each to the
Cashier’s Oce.
Car Sckers for the New School Year
The car sckers for school year 2015/2016 will be
available from the security oce beginning July 1,
2015.
For vehicles already displaying an exisng scker,
parents should submit a completed renewal form
with a copy of a current LTO ocial receipt. For new
vehicles, parents are reminded that a copy of the ve-
hicle’s cercate of registraon and a current ocial
receipt need to be submied with the applicaon.
Applicaons for vehicles registered with companies
or other instuons should be supported by a leer
of assignment.
Each ISM family will be issued one vehicle scker free
of charge. Any addional sckers will be issued fol-
lowing payment of P100 to the cashier’s oce.
I would like to thank all members of the ISM commu-

helping us maintain ISM as a safe and secure environ-
ment for our children.

The pracce schedule for HS season 4 is posted on noce
boards and on the ATAC blog. Season 4 runs from Apr
13th to June 3 and is an opportunity for some 'o season'
training opportunies for the HS teams in readiness fornext SY. Not all sports are catered for however quite a
few of the coaches are keen to get started and see the
students geng involved and prepared. Current gr. 8's
who will be freshman next SY are welcome to join. All HS
athletes intending to tryout for teams are encouraged to
aend during 4th season however training is not com-
pulsory and cannot be mandated by coaches.
Well done to our ISM Judo team members who took part
in the ISM Judo invitaonal last Saturday along with
thanks to ISM Judo Coach Freddie for pung together a
successful meet. Ocial results will be posted as soon asthey are received from the meet organizers. Also a big
thanks to Coach Holly and the Sailsh coaching team for
running a great aquathon last Saturday morning. It was a
hot morning but the competors gave it their all. Results
can be found on the Sailsh blog.

Saturday Community Tennis for semester 2 is ongoing.

nal day forSaturday community tennis is May 30th.
Please note the pracce mes for the following ATACprograms: ATAC all year round teams- 3:15-4:30. Sailsh/
Gymnascs and all HS seasonal teams now conclude
pracce at 4:50pm each day. MS seasonal teams 3:10-
4:45pm. The last bus is now 4:55pm and all aer school
programs will conclude by 4:50pm in order to try and
clear the campus prior to 5pm due to the ever increasing
trac concerns in our area.

Bearcat Den: Drop by our fantasc spirit store. There is
an end of year sale on at the moment and a range of new
products and items to purchase including items from our
service partners. Bearcat Den hours of operaon-7am-
4pm Mon-Fri.
The ATAC game schedule pdf which is updated regularly
by Triz Gonzalez (ATAC Athlecs Coordinator) gives themost up to date informaon on where/when and who
our Bearcat teams will be playing throughout the school
year. Access to the game schedule is via the ISM parent
portal. Use this link to access the parent portal, log in
with your user name/password and look for the ATAC
Game Schedule tab. Remember to refresh the page when
the pdf schedule appears so you view the most current
schedule.

Important informaon on Re-Enrollment for SY 2015-16
Dear Parents:
We will begin on-line Re-enrollment for school year 2015-16 on Monday, March 16. As before, parents will have to log into PowerSchool in order to
do this. Below are instrucons to help. If you are not sure of your PowerSchool log-in or need support, please contact your school oce.
Please note that you must complete re-enrollment by May 22nd at the latest. PowerSchool will close on that date unl the start of the new school
year. We have over 500 students on our waitlist, and we will assume that your children are leaving if you have not completed the re-enrollment pro-
cess.
Step 1: Log-in to PowerSchool
Step 2: Look for the Re-enrollment Clearance icon on the le hand panel.
Click on the icon.
Step 3: Create your Re-enrollment Clearance Form. You will receive an email nocaon verifying that you have been successful updang your child’s
record.
Students entering Grade 6 will be required to
download and complete the Physical Examinaon Form
(including ECG results) which should be submied to
the ISM Health Clinic
Students entering Grade 7 will be required to
download and sign the Drug Policy Form which should
be submied to the MS Oce.
Step 4: Tuion and Fees: Please sele your accounts
through our Cashier’s Oce.
You must sele your accounts for SY14-15 and pay the
rst quota of tuion fees for SY15-16 to receive your
Final Clearance Nocaon for your child to aend class
on August 6, 2015.
Re-enrollment must be complete in order to receive a
student’s Class Schedule.
Class Schedule distribuon dates are as follows:
August 03, 2015: Grade 5 and 6
August 04, 2015: Grade 7 and 8

Leaving ISM?
Please be reminded that parents are obliged to ocially inform the School in wring through a WITH-
DRAWAL NOTIFICATION FORM if their children will not be returning in August for School Year 2015-
16. Families are encouraged to submit the Withdrawal Nocaon Form, stang the student's nal
date of aendance, immediately. Forms must be submied on or before May 8. Failure to submit the
form by that date may lead to a deducon of US$1,000 from the Facilies Upgrade Deposit (FUD), in
compensaon for having held a space for your child, prevenng the School from oering that space
to another candidate.
The Withdrawal Nocaon Form can be obtained from the Admissions Oce or directly from the
ISM website under Admission > Re-Enrollment & Withdrawal > Withdrawals
