2015 ACTIVITY SCHEDULEMAYMOTHER’S DERBY DAYS WEEKEND MAY 8-9-10 WAKE UP THE BEARS Bring mom camping this weekend for some extra special “Pamper Mom Time” where you can give mom a manicure. Moms, come to the store for your special Mother’s Day gift. What would Derby Days be without a Horse Race? Pick out your favorite name and let’s go to the track. Enjoy the evening at the annual wine and cheese tasting party with fun music from “Timeless Tunes” with DJ Jammin’ Jimmy. Don’t forget, this is the weekend to bring your noise makers, because we are waking up THE BEARS.

JR. RANGER WEEKEND MAY 15-16-17 Ranger Cody is in need of some new Jr. Rangers. He will teach ways to help recycle items and keep our earth green. Enjoy fun activities like planting flowers and learning about our trees around the park. Bring an old book to share in our kids’ book walk. Create a recycle craft or enjoy tie-dying a shirt. This is the first flea market weekend of the season.

FUN IN THE SUN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKENDMAY 22-23-24-25

YOGI BEAR™, CINDY BEAR™ AND BOO BOO™ are ready to kick the summer into high gear with lots of fun-filled activities. Begin your weekend with a family movie at Yogi Bear’s Theater. Let’s get the summer started with canoe races and pool games. Try your skill at basketball, volleyball, bags, or horseshoes. Check out the CRAFT SHOW and BIG CASH BINGO. Enjoy wagon rides and our Jellystone Express train rides. Listen to the music by “MOONSHINE ALIBI” and “HIGH ROLLERS.” Catholic Mass and gospel concerts begin

this weekend. This week gospel concert features “HOOSIER HARMONY.”

KEEP CALM AND CAMP ON MAY 29-30-31 Take the time to enjoy Camping!! It was a long winter without your friends, so wander the park and share your stories. Head to the Café and grab some coffee. Let the kids make a craft or take a train ride around the park. The adults might want to play some Bingo. If you haven’t seen enough of your fellow campers during the day, head over to the new community fire pit down by Yogi Bear’s Theater. There we will enjoy some s’mores with friends!! Live Gospel music by “THE HARVEYS.”

JUNEZOOFARI WEEKEND JUNE 5-6-7

Enjoy a safari trip through the Jellystone Park™ Jungle. The kids will start their day hunting for their breakfast. We will continue the safari trip as we hunt for bananas, safari animals and jungle eggs. Take a ride on the Yogi Bear™ Express through the jungle. Take the time to enjoy a visit with Mark from Mark’s Ark’s with some of his amazing special

guests from places far away. Adults can enjoy a few adventures, as well, with a safari golf cart hunt, bingo and more. Live music by “SUM OF 3.”

OUR 5TH ANNUAL CAR SHOW WEEKEND JUNE 12-13-14 Yogi Bear™ can’t wait to “REV” up his engine and show off his wheels. Bring your cars for our 5th annual car show. Race your remote control racers and matchbox cars. Enjoy crafts, a bubble blowing contest, bingo, golf cart games, face painting & name that song. Bring your bobby socks and poodle skirts and leather jackets for a “sox hopping” good time at the Sock Hop Dance. Music at our car show and sock hop will be hosted by “THE MCCOYS.” Live Gospel music by “SISTERS X TWO.”

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND JUNE 19-20-21 The air is filled with the lip smacking aroma of BBQ ribs. With a small entry fee (which covers the cost of the ribs), try using your own special

recipe and beat our current champion. Let’s get the weekend started with a fun Blinky Parade followed by crafts, golf cart games, sack races, bag

tournaments, fishing contest, and bingo. As evening comes, head to the beach for a bonfire and music with “Timeless Tunes” with DJ Jammin’ Jimmy. Sunday morning Catholic Mass and Live Gospel music by “THE JUBLILEES.” It’s Flea Market Weekend.

PRINCESS & SUPERHERO’S BIRTHDAY WEEKENDJUNE 26-27-28Yogi Bear™ & Boo Boo™ wanted a Superhero’s Themed Party and Cindy Bear™ wanted Princesses, so we’re doing both. Bring your little superhero and your pretty princesses to a fun-filled weekend. Make your own birthday card and gift for them at our arts and crafts. The whole family will enjoy birthday cake and a special visit with the bears. Other activities include wagon rides, birthday bingo, face painting, and scavenger hunts. During the evening, head to the ball field as fellow campers sing their hearts out doing some Karaoke with DJ Dan. Join us Sunday morning for Catholic Mass and morning worship with the “THE SHANE BROTHERS.”

JULYINDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION JULY 2-3-4-5 Independence Day is a time for Family, Parades and Fireworks. Decorate your golf carts or create

a festive float for our annual parade Saturday afternoon. The ball field is the place to be on Saturday evening to enjoy live music from “SIMPLE CRUSH” followed by our annual SPECTACULAR Fireworks show. Enjoy food from the Café, Chuck Wagon or Dad’s Elephant Ears. Find time to go to the craft show, BIG CASH BINGO,

arts and crafts, golf cart games and so much more. Sunday morning begins with Catholic Mass followed by our worship service by “THE KING’S FOUR.”

A BEAR-Y-MERRY CHRISTMAS JULY 10-11-12 Decorate your lot, trailer and golf cart for cash prizes and awards. Santa and Yogi Bear™ will be here for pictures. Enjoy Saturday morning breakfast with Yogi Bear™ and Santa. We’ll have a candy cane hunt, a candy kiss relay, snowball fights, and fun on the snow slide. Come for our $5.00 gift exchange for the kids and Christmas bingo. The Christmas Light Parade will be Saturday evening. Join us for Sunday Mass and worship service along with gospel music by “THE DOTSONS.”

MARDI GRAS JULY 17-18-19 Collect some beads, wear your masks, and deck your golf cart and bikes for our Mardi Gras Parade. Purple, Green and Gold will be everywhere this weekend. Come celebrate this fun weekend with a parade led by King Yogi Bear™, Queen Cindy Bear™ and Jester Boo Boo™. In addition to the parade, you may want to take the time to enjoy other activities such as bingo, a scavenger hunt, bag toss, sand castle building and crafts. Follow the music to the ball field for live music from “MULLIGAN ISLAND.” Sunday morning has Catholic Mass followed by the worship music of “ONE ACCORD.” This is Flea Market weekend.

ISLAND DREAM WEEKEND JULY 24-25-26 For those that love the beach, this is your weekend. Bring your craziest sunglasses, light-up necklaces, and hats as we light up the beach. Join the hairy chest contest and the best hula dance contest. Along with hula hoop fun, join the Jellystone Park™ Beach Picture Contest. Gather your family to build the best sand creature. Enjoy other activities such as beach

blanket bingo, pineapple bowling, arts and crafts, wagon rides and more. Save some energy for our beach party Saturday night with music by “IT’S 5:00 SOMEWHERE.” Sunday morning Catholic Mass will be followed by our worship service and music from “THE NORTHMEN.”

AUGUSTSPOOKTACULAR HOWL-O-WEEN 1 JULY 31, AUGUST 1-2This weekend is for the campers who love to be scared or the kids who just want to get treats. Pack your costumes and candy. The kids will enjoy Trick or Treating throughout the park. Afterwards, they can enter their fabulous costumes in the costume contest. Cash prizes for best decorated lots. And

for those who just want to be scared, be prepared as you work your way through the Haunted Trails. Along with fears and scares, we will take the time to enjoy some “not so scary” activities like bingo, arts and crafts, ghost toss, golf cart games and more. Sunday morning Catholic Mass

followed by gospel service featuring “BRAD LUZADDER.”

SPLASHTASTIC FUN AUGUST 7-8-9 Let the SPLASH fun begin with a weekend filled with plenty of WET activities. Head on down to the beach for crazy beach relays and tug of war, then to the pool for some fun poolside games and entertainment. Hop on the wagon as it wanders into water world. Enjoy some not-so-wet activities such as bingo, arts and crafts, golf cart games and much more. Sunday morning begins with Catholic Mass and worship services and gospel music by “THE FRAZIERS.”

SILLY “SDRAWKCAB” BLOOPERS AUGUST 14-15-16 Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™ are trying to drive Cindy Bear™ silly. They have decided to make things sdrawkcab (backwards). You may want to join in the fun by dressing backwards. Kids will enjoy a backwards relay race and parents can challenge each other on their backwards driving skills. WATCH OUT!! Come out to the ball field for live music by “LITTLE ORPHAN ANDY.” Sunday morning mass will be followed by gospel music by “THE SHANE BROTHERS.”

KIDS REVENGE AUGUST 21-22-23 Kids today are much more technology savvy than their parents…or are they? Watch as the kids challenge their parents at modern day fun. Kids are pretty good at video games and technology, but see how they compare to their parents. Compete with a texting contest, a picture scavenger hunt, video game challenge and more. It is only fair to turn the tables and let’s see how the kids hold up to the parents specialties. Parents challenge their kids at Rubik Cube, jump rope and good old fashion pool table skills. Join the family game show with Jammin’ Jimmy. Come worship with our Catholic Mass and Gospel Concert featuring “ADORATION.” This is our Flea market weekend.

RETRO WEEKEND AUGUST 28-29-30 Ready for a groovy weekend? This is a weekend to reflect on the days past. Whether you wore Poodle Skirts from the 50’s, Bell bottoms from the 60’s, Tie- Dye from the 70’s or big hair from the 80’s, bring you best Era outfit for a fun dress competition. We’ll travel through the years enjoying fun activities from each decade like checkers, twister, Mother May I, Red Light Green Light, soccer and much more. Plan to dress up from your era and spend the night dancing with music provided by “THE MCCOYS.” Sunday morning Mass will be followed with worship and gospel music by “HIS WAY II.”

SEPTEMBERLABOR DAY SEPTEMBER 4-5-6-7 Summer is winding down. Our annual Labor Day carnival with face painting, carnival games and inflatables is always fun for the entire family. Live music by the bands; “BERNIE GLIM COUNTRY ROADS” and “MOONSHINE ALIBI.” Big jackpot bingo, fun sports events and more. Sunday morning Mass will be followed with worship and gospel music from “SISTERS X TWO.”

SPOOKTACULAR HOWL-O-WEEN 2 SEPTEMBER 11-12-13 Halloween is double fun at Jellystone Park™. Put on your favorite costume and bring your candy for a fun afternoon of “Trunk” or “Treat”. Decorate your golf cart and join in the fun with our costume contest. Ride the Haunted Trails. Enjoy arts and crafts, bingo and the Mummy Wrap……Hunt for the great Pumpkin…..

FABULOUS FALL FEST SEPTEMBER 18-19-20 With fall approaching, Yogi’s getting Sleepy. Enjoy the last weekend with Yogi Bear™ and friends before they take a long winters nap. Take a photo with Yogi Bear™ and the kids in the Pumpkin Patch. Kids will enjoy finding and decorating pumpkins. Fall is a great time of the year for a caramel apple, apple cider and, of course, CHILI. Make your best pot of chili for the Chili Cook-off. This will also be the final weekend for activities, so come and enjoy it with your fellow campers.

PARK RULES1. All alcoholic beverages, if consumed, MUST remain on your campsite. No alco holic beverages will be allowed in the pavilions or any other build ings.2. Please be considerate of other campers. Noise has no bound aries. Quiet time in the park is from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Fri-day and Saturday nights are 12:00 midnight until 8:00 a.m. Foul, loud ob-noxious language or any behavior of this type shall not be permitted. Anyone creating a dis turbance will be asked to leave the park and may be subject to legal prosecution.3. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian in the park with them at all times. All persons under the age of 18 shall be on a campsite with adult supervision at 11:00 p.m. or 1/2 hour after the last scheduled activ-ity has ended.4. Jellystone Park™ requires at least one person in a rental party to be 21 years old.5. Proper clothing needs to be worn at all times.6. Pets must be attended to and under control at all times by a responsible per-son. All pets must also be kept quiet. Owners will be responsible for any fines given to loud, disturbing animals. Any pets, other than service animals, will not

All dogs must have current rabies vaccina tion tags displayed. Exotic, vicious or dangerous pets and animals are not permitted in the park.7. Swimming pools are for registered guests only. No lifeguards are on duty and all swimmers swim at their own risk. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Loud and obnoxious behavior will not be permitted. Proper swimming attire must be worn at all times. NO CUT-OFFS. Absolutely no diving, running or rough play will be allowed. Food, alcohol or other drinks are not permitted in the pool area. Do not play with safety equipment. Report any unsafe condition to the ranger station immediately. Smoking is prohibited.8. Place garbage in plastic bags and deposit them in the dumpsters located throughout the park. Do not place lawn waste, tree branches or any appliances in or near the dumpsters. Please do not put any hot coals or any burning items in the dumpsters.9. Overnight guests are not permitted to bring or operate any unli censed mo-torized vehicles in the park including golf carts. Privately owned golf carts, other than by property owners are not permitted in the park. Only golf carts

authorized in writing by Yogi Bear™’s Jellystone Park™ are permitted to be oper-ated on park property by overnight guests. Member vehicles must dis play year-ly permits and lot numbers on both front and rear of at least 2 inches in height. Children under 14 may not operate any motorized vehicle without an adult seated next to them. Children age 14 or an individual without a valid drivers license may operate a vehicle only with a park issued permit obtained from the office. Vehicles may carry only the number of persons to which the vehi cle was designed for, and all persons must be seated at all times while it is in motion. Lights, both front and rear, and of proper intensity must be operating after dark. All 3 or 4 wheeled ATV’s, go-karts, crotch or pocket rockets, amphibious vehicles and similar type vehicles, vehicles with seats lower than 20 inches to the ground are prohibited. Noisy, and/or other vehicles creating a nui sance, or vehicles deemed unsafe shall also be prohibited. Due to insurance regulations, all skateboards, rollerblades and 2 wheeled scooters are prohibited from the park. Failure to abide by the reg ulations may result in driving privileges being suspended and/or a citation and fine being issued. Any operator of a motorized vehicle in excess of a 50cc motor is required to have a state issued operators license with a motorcycle endorsement as required by the State of Indiana.10. The openly carrying of firearms other than by law enforcement personnel is prohibited in the park.
