Blue Day
Quilting
• There will be a meeting on 9/23 for current members of the quilting/sewing club in room
#421.
PKMS Math Club
• All 6th graders are welcome to apply to join the PKMS Math Club. Get your application
from your Math teacher and turn them in to Ms. Dronet in room 614 by next Friday (the 25th). Don’t worry 7th and 8th graders, if space permits, you’ll be invited to join too!
Band Orchestra and Guitar
There will be a music store here at school on Thursday evening from 6-8pm! Everything you
need for your music classes will be conveniently brought to the music classrooms.
If you need an instrument, book, or accessories, plan to come school this Thursday
evening with your parents!
Dance Team
• Dance team tryouts today after school until 4:30 in the cafeteria. In order to try-out you must have a physical and concussion training on file with Mrs. Harigan. Check the list at lunch, if you do not see your name do not stay after school. Bring your forms to Mrs. Harigan during lunch, do not wait until after school to turn in paperwork.
Nature Bridge for 7th Graders
• Any completed paperwork can be turned in to Ms. Mattia only in Room #421 during the morning walk or during your lunch. Space is limited to the first 50 students with COMPLETED paper work only! There
is only 1 slot left for the Nature Bridge camping trip. After that slot is filled there will be a waiting list in
the event any signed up cannot go. Remember there is a mandatory meeting on 9/23 at 6:00 p.m. in the library for parents and students going on the trip.
Orchestra, Guitar, and Band students:
• The rental fair will be today September 17, from 6-8pm in the orchestra room! Don't forget, this is your opportunity to get your books, instrument, and accessories you'll need for your music classes this year!
• Anyone interested in participating in Parkside's Musical performance should attend the first meeting of the Parkside Players, this week Thursday, after school, in Mrs. Livingston's room.
