Check to make sure the PathScan Enabler IV plugged in, ported to the BOCK-LOCI-003 computer, and on. Tissue slide holder works with US standard glass slides, 1.1 mm thick, 1.3 inches in length and No. 1 coverslips. Insert the tissue glass slide into the slot with the cover slip side up, frosted label to the right . Follow arrows and illustrations on the frame of each slot. For correct scan results, always turn the slide with the top of the image facing the back of the PathScan Enabler IV. Insert the tissue slide holder into the PathScan Enabler IV through dust cover. The tissue slide holder can be inserted from either side and will index at the notches around the frame on its side rails. Allow about 40 cm of space on both sides of the instrument. This instrument uses QuickScan software on BOCK-LOCI-003, which opens automatically when you push the QuickScan button on the instrument, but can also be opened in Windows Startup. Once the QuickScan button is pushed, the software automatically previews the inserted slide. Minor changes can be made to the position of the holder, and a preview of the scan can be recollected by clicking “Preview.” Click "Album" icon to obtain a Tinal, high-resolution image. This image automatically saves to the desktop. Tissue glass slides should be collected in 24-bit Color. Images should be saved to Tlash drive. LOCI PathScan Enabler IV Quick Start
