We are so happy to announce that Mrs. Carolyn Stamm is our 2018

-2019 Three Oaks Vol-

unteer of the Year!

Mrs. Stamm is a truly

positive, giving person

and Three Oaks is so

thankful for all of her

volunteer efforts! Mrs.

Stamm is a retired Vir-

ginia Beach educator, so

she understands how

hard teachers work and

always finds time to

lend a hand. She consist-

ently assists her grand-

son’s 2nd grade teacher,

Mrs. Strack, with different activities that benefit the entire class. She

reads one-on-one each week with students, cheering them on and

making them feel successful. This has truly helped with their pro-

gress and achievement. Mrs. Stamm volunteers for every class party

and event, including running a Pumpkin Science station at Hallow-

een. She even works from home to help Mrs. Strack with organizing

everything from monthly book orders to reading conference fold-

ers. Three Oaks is also thankful for Mrs. Stamm’s help filing Tuesday

folders each week, along with volunteering to help at our Book Fair

and Country Fair.

We congratulate Mrs. Stamm and the next time you see her in the

classroom, hallway or cafeteria, we encourage you to thank her for

all that she does to help our school!
