-Personification is when you give feelings and characteristics of living things to non-living things.

Examples:“The couch sat gloomily in the middle of the living room.”“The leaves danced in the breeze under the moonlight.”“The computer greeted the tech nerds with a happy buzz.”“I saw the sweater in the store, and it shouted ‘Buy Me!’”“The stingray talked to the ocean floor.”
