SHUTTER SPEED

• Shutter speeds are in a series which appear on a camera like this:

• 15, 30, 60,125, 250, 500• These speeds are doubled or

cut in half with each step

RECORDING MOTION

• A slow shutter speed will cause a trace image, using shutter speed of 1/60 or slower.

RECORDING MOTION• A faster speed will freeze motion,

using a shutter speed of 1/250 or faster.

RECORDING MOTION

Panning:1. Meter for shutter speed 1/30, 1/60,

or 1/1252. Move with the subject3. First aim at & focus on the

subject4. Take the picture while you are

moving with the subject.
