The RSU #16 Medication Policy is available to review in the Nurse’s Office. However, many students are coming to school medicated for fevers. I thought I would go over the School Policy more clearly. If your child has a temperature of 100 or greater when they wake up, please DO NOT give them medicine and send them to school. This causes other children to catch whatever virus they have and get sick. The School Policy is : 24 hrs FEVER FREE WITHOUT MEDICINE.
If your child vomits 24 hrs prior to school, please DO NOT send them. School Policy is: Children CAN NOT come to school for 24 HOURS AFTER THEY LAST VOMITED. Thank You all for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Wildlife Warriors Fundraiser!
Dear PCS Parents/Guardians and Children,
The 5th Grade GaTE ELA is launching a school-wide
fundraiser to help the many animals devastated by the
current Australian fires. These fires have destroyed many
animals’ habitats, and many of their lives have been lost.
The money raised in the fundraiser will be donated to the
Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, the Wildlife Warriors.
Announcements will be made and posters will be hung up around the school,
promoting the fundraiser and Australia’s animals.
The Wildlife Warrior Fundraiser will take place for one week - One Week only on the
week we return from the break, from February 24-28.
Student Wildlife Warriors will be in the lobby every morning from 8:30-9:00 collecting
donations. Each person that donates will get a sticker, and will sign the “I’m A Wildlife
Warrior!” poster. At the end of the week we will pull out a name, and that person will
get a stuffed kangaroo and koala. All money donated will be collected at the end of
the week, and sent to the Australian Wildlife Hospital. We all need to become Wildlife
Warriors together as a community! Sincerely, 5th Grade GaTE ELA

So far, activities have included Glow in the Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice Explosion, and Spy Training. In week one, students used glow sticks to create shapes and repeating patterns. Week 2 consisted of dice addition and human bingo. In week 3, students broke codes to find a treasure. These kids are making mischief and memories!
