10 Guiding Principles for a Sustainable Lake Erie WatershedTo attain a living equilibrium between a strong, diversified economy and a healthy Lake Erie ecosystem, activities in the Ohio Lake Erie watershed should:

Recommended Widths for Riparian Setbacks

• A minimum of 300 feet on either side of all watercourses draining an area greater than 300 square miles.
