And this project was undertaken to promote and update the presence in social networks of

Blogthinkbig.com, a Telefónica initiative to bring technology closer to society.

It was aimed to keep the image of the company and to use the latest trends in graphic design.

It is a long term project since the designed covers will be updated periodically on Facebook and Twitter.

The project was developed for Fundación Adecco and Ericsson in the intership

Talentum Startups long-track of Telefónica.

The first project goal was to improve accessibility in the classroom for the

people with disabilities. A mobile application called Breaking Sound Barriers was

proposed, an inclusive and innovative solution interesting for all students since it

records everything that happens before, during and after a class in your device.

Both the teacher and the student only need to log in to the session created for the

class, once this is done, what happens on the board as well as the teacher’s voice

converted into text are shown on the student’s tablet or smartphone. The possibili-

ties of taking notes, asking questions and taking screenshots

during class are also available. The app also has a repository that keeps record of all

the events and a forum to discuss relevant issues.

the intership Talentum Startups long-track of Telefónica S.A.

Page 11: Portfolio_Marina Lopez Hernando

The proposal was aimed to improve the employability of

people with disabilities.

To achieve this aim a website that guides them in the job

search process was proposed. Through interactive acti-

vities one can learn and get succeed in finding employ-

ment.

Our website also automatically generates the necessary

custom documents such as the CV or cover letter.

With the help of a mobile app developed for Android

Lollipop, the interviews are planned by means of notifica-

tions, tips and GPS-guided route to the interview location.

An important part of the project is the adaptability, i.e.

the website possesses different advantages and configu-

ration forms. So it could be adapted to the needs of each

person with disability.

Comunicados is a early startup specialized care and service to the deaf people. Through a website they enable the communication with these

people who have different needs. So the design must be simple and intuitive. It must be adapted to people of all ages and transmitting

values of responsibility, professionality and closeness.

This project was developed as a project of the course User-Product Interaction at the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in

which an application was carried out to the retailer Sensualove.

Following the graphics of the brand and performing a work breakdown, a final prototype was developed and tested by

real users.

AEGEE-Zaragoza is one of the largest locals with over 150 members.

As an active member, in addition to being participant and organizer, I have worked in several events as graphic

designer, some of them locally and others internationally focused. In each case, I have developed a complete

graphical image, including logo, personal identifications, resources to social media, web and mobile apps,

brochures, promotional posters, diplomas, etc...

How might we make low-income urban areas safer and more empowering for

women and girls?

This challenge, proposed by Open IDEO, was the topic of my thesis of my degree

Industrial Desing Engineering and Product Development. At first, I created the brand

SUMA IDEAS which represents a urban space where women develop their social

skills and feel safe in the city, enhances the empowerment of women in low-income

urban areas, such as El Gancho neighborhood in Zaragoza.

A product line of urban furniture that meets the needs of women is designed.

For maintenance and promotion this proposal. There will be a series of creative workshops with women and their chil-

dren where glass bottles are recycled, painted and accompany with a card where each women write the dream of their

life and it becomes the bottle into a single object. These bottles will be sold throughout the city in order to raise funds

and finance the project.

In the workshop these women and their children were very active. They learned basic techniques of

creativity and it was used to design street furniture, which we see to the right, adapted to them.

It is an overall design process:

• Proposed methodology: Design Thinking + Product Engineering Methodology.

• Product design.

• Development graphic image.

• Service Design.
