With our range of turning machines including DMG-Mori,

Doosan and Hardinge, we have the capability and flexibility to respond quickly to your turning

requirements.

We can turn a wide range of materials including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Exotics and Engineering Plastics. The

addition of auto bar feed technology enhances

productivity and efficiency.

volume production.

We use Agie Charmilles Wire EDM technology.

Agie Charmilles machines allow for faster cutting

and accuracy maintaining the

mechanical and metallurgical properties of

cut surfaces.

We can provide totally submerged wire cutting

for parts up to 240mm high. If you have

components part-machined and require wire EDM, then we can

undertake this operation for you.

No matter what your requirements, we have the milling technology at Cougar RED to deliver outstanding results. From 1-off to mid-volume production, our sub-contract CNC milling services can effectively meet your needs. Our skilled workforce takes pride in providing first-class 3, 4 and fully simultaneous 5-axis milling, applying high-end technology from DMG Mori and Hardinge to ensure quality is unsurpassed even with the most demanding complex parts.

QQUUAALLIITTYY CCOONNTTRROOLL

To achieve the highest level of accuracy, we use a Mitutoyo Euro Apex Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The precision air bearing CMM is fully automated and linked to the latest version of pc-dmis Pro, CMM software. Combined with a Renishaw automatic probe and probe changing dock, we can work to resolution of 0.001 through XYZ scales. Our UKAS certified calibration sphere ensures accuracy. Work pieces are easily navigated with precision joystick control across a large granite table.

We are able to undertake all your marking requirements. Our

services include cosmetic/aesthetic marking or part traceability data marking

for total product control.

Our marking machine is renown for accuracy and marking

clarity. The addition of rotary marking allows full 360˚marking

of components.

Annealing can also be achieved; a process that marks

anodised coatings without penetrating into the substrate

material.

This service is of particular benefit to sectors including

historic motorsport and historic aircraft. A number of

software applications are used for developing

customer solutions.

We are able to provide reverse engineering services

working from an existing component and machining

clones, or modeling and machining a solution where

no original component or drawing exists.
