‘Elements of Time

Barjis London presents AW15/16 ready to wear and scarves collection, “Elements of

Time”.

This season Barjis’s woman undertake a memorable walk down the canal in London

that has been affected by time, weather and nature. The collection then embraces

her journey experience and the hint of rust, pealing paint and decay that come into

sight is being transformed in to this collection through quirky chic prints.

Barjis’s signature style of contemporary elegance with a quirky twist is very much

obvious in this ready to wear and scarves collection. The ready to wear collection

includes prints inspired by the urban decay in London environment. The colour

palette is a mixture of navy blue, cream, plum with an hint of yellow, and orange with

an added spark of teal blue. The pieces includes printed cotton midi and maxi skirts,

viscose cotton trousers coordinated with printed single breasted jackets, box pleat

top that comes with prints on the long cuffs and shirt with lace over layering cuffs and

collars, and single breasted long coats teamed up with wide leg trousers. The printed

button up shirtdresses made out of crepe silk and printed cotton long sleeves

dresses surely gives an elegant touch to the collection, while the cotton shirts with

printed long cuffs deliver the mixture of classy, edgy and quirky look. The scarves

collection comprises elegant prints with an added burst of vibrant colour and

available in two sizes. All the scarves designs are initially hand painted and the

scarves are made out of silk blended with cashmere, modal, or cotton.
