Press Release - for Immediate Release 1 CHINA TELECOM WON BOARD SEAT OF WIRELESS BROADBAND ALLIANCE China Telecom and WBA will strengthen WiFi deployment and applications in industries (Hong Kong, 11 June 2015) – China Telecom, The world’s largest fixedline and wireline broadband operator with 141 million Access lines in service & 108 million wireline broadband subscribers respectively, is announcing its success of bidding board member of WBA, Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), the WiFi industry organization to secure global deployment of user experience friendly WiFi service and its application to other industry sectors.
