LO NDINI UM ECLIPSE EQUINOX Logo 3 (LONDINIUM): Our final logo was; Londinium was the roman name for London, as Londoners we thought it would be appropriate to use a logo that captures part us and credit the location that influenced our film. London being one of the biggest cities in the world will make the name easily recognisable and have connotations of power and wealth as suggested by Julius Caesar inspired olive leaf wreath. Furthermore, this in addition to the font and origins of the name LO NDINI UM Logo 1 (EQUINOX): Suggested by Ryan an ‘Equinox’ is when day is as long as night. We thought this was interesting as it could be a strong symbol of a production company motto to make the audiences’ escape into films feel as real as possible as symbolised by night when one sleeps and dreams being on equal terms with day; This is the type of feel we attempted to create in our film opening. We also believed the name sounded professional and due to its Logo 2 (ECLIPSE): Eclipse to us was a word that represented the feel of ignoring daily life for intense focus on the unusual, yet very much believable. Which is the type of escapism we hoped our film would provide, therefore this was agreed as an appropriate logo name. The logo shows an eclipse. Logo 3 (LONDINIUM):

Our final logo was; Londinium was the roman name for London, as Londoners we thought it would be appropriate to use a logo that captures part us and credit the location that influenced our film. London being one of the biggest cities in the world will make the name easily recognisable and have connotations of power and wealth as suggested by Julius Caesar inspired olive leaf wreath. Furthermore, this in addition to the font and origins of the name creates an authentic feel. This is our group’s favourite due to the unique, simple and professional appearance of the logo. LO NDINI UM

Logo 1 (EQUINOX):

Suggested by Ryan an ‘Equinox’ is when day is as long as night. We thought this was interesting as it could be a strong symbol of a production company motto to make the audiences’ escape into films feel as real as possible as symbolised by night when one sleeps and dreams being on equal terms with day; This is the type of feel we attempted to create in our film opening. We also believed the name sounded professional and due to its meaning we could create a professional logo. The yellow/gold colour of the font was inspired by the universal logo, which is partly what the logo is based on. The blue fade effect was added on to make the font slightly blend with the image.

Logo 2 (ECLIPSE):

Eclipse to us was a word that represented the feel of ignoring daily life for intense focus on the unusual, yet very much believable. Which is the type of escapism we hoped our film would provide, therefore this was agreed as an appropriate logo name. The logo shows an eclipse. The font is red as it stands out against the image and is a powerful colour. The font being split horizontally was an accident, but we actually preferred the look as it is unique and is representative of a sense of half reality.
