President’s Dinner. February A premium annual event where the new President is inducted each year, the Chamber Volunteer of the Year is honoured, Lifetime Members can be inducted and an inspirational business speaker enlightens the audience.

Annual Golf Tournament, June Members and their guests love our Friday afternoon tournament – it’s nine holes and followed by a social event where other members and spouses join in. There are lots of opportunities to strut your stuff – with a golf club or event sponsorship.

Business Excellence Awards, October Our annual Business Excellence Awards celebrates the best of the best in the greater Summerside business community. The program includes a gala evening at the Harbourfront Theatre, including an invitation-only pre-reception and an elegant after-party. Building upon past success, this year’s event in October will be bigger and better and promises to be a memorable evening.

President’s Christmas Reception, December This well attended event attracts many of our members who do not regularly attend other events throughout the year. Held at the Quality Inn, it provides an opportunity to catch up with old friends and network with new business acquaintances, all in the spirit of holiday goodwill. This event also offers supporter sponsorship opportunities.

Breakfasts & Lunches Chamber/Rotary Joint Luncheon (July) A premium annual event each summer during Lobster Carnival, this luncheon bring members of the Chamber together with the Summerside Rotary Club members for a lobster lunch.

AGM Luncheon (February) Held in January to review the past year’s accomplishments and plans for the coming year, this event attracts a large crowd.

Small Business Week Breakfast (October) Our Small Business Week breakfast is held on the Monday of Small Business Week each year and normally attracts a sell-out crowd.

Provincial Budget Breakfast (March/April) On the morning following the release of the provincial budget, the Finance Minister comes to Summerside to talk about the implications for business – good and bad.

Federal Budget (when possible) When schedules allow, our federal MP will visit to enlighten us on budget decisions and how they will affect our area.

Membership Luncheons A variety of other luncheons throughout the year feature topical speakers and the opportunity to network with business colleagues.

Mixers Held at a variety of member premises, our mixers attract a mixed crowd who come out to network and catch up on business news.

Business Success Forum This full day event held during Small Business Week features a series of professional presentations on a variety of topics as Chamber members pass on their knowledge to other members in a comfortable and interactive environment

may also be invited to bring greetings on behalf of his/her company. • Gold sponsors may display banners near the podium or another prominent location. Gold, Silver
