1 Safe Respectful Learners Term 3 Week 3 Newsletter 4 August 2020 Public School Here we are - Educaon Week 2020! Although a very different way to celebrate students learning, the 2020 celebraons has a very appropriate theme “Learning Together”, something we have all been doing since March. This week we have many virtual experiences for you to watch. Acvies for the week will include:- Learning with the Team from Moriarty, building skills and fitness Reading together - primary and infants students peer reading and wring Recognion of our Term 2 and 3 leaders and our new SRC members via zoom Plus a visit to the Wambangalang Environmental Centre to build our new primary leaders skills Looking forward to sharing these magic moments with you on our Facebook page and website. Let's Learn Together 2020! Drop Off and Pick Up Thank you to all our families who are using the drop off area at the front of the school. It is a drop and kiss area. Parents and carers are asked not to leave their car when they use that area. Definitely no parking in the bus bay or staff car park morning or aﬅernoon. Police have been issuing infringement noces daily. These rules are made to keep everyone safe during busy drop off and pick up me. Athlec Carnival for Primary - Tabloid Sports Day for Infants On Thursday 13th August we will be holding our Primary athlecs carnival at Barden Park, while the Infants students will be enjoying a day of tabloid sports on the back oval at school. Notes have been sent home. Unfortunately there are no parents able to aend in line with the new COVID regulaons. We are holding this carnival to ensure out Year 6 students have some opportunity to display their skills on the athlecs arena. School Championships will sll count towards the end of year Awards night. There is no further representave opportunies this year for students. All representave carnivals have been cancelled for 2020. Drop Off and Pick Up

Thank you to all our families who are using the drop off area at the front of the school. It is a drop and kiss area.
