Once installed Purple provides user data and demographics, collected via the social media authentication. It also gives venues powerful marketing tools, designed to monetize the WiFi service while improving the customer experience in venue.

By adding Purple to the Xirrus solution, customers get access to the Purple Portal where they can see a range of detailed customer reports to gain real insights into customer behaviour. To improve loyalty, boost sales, and to engage more with customers, the information collected can be used to form highly targeted email campaigns, either using the in-built tools, or by exporting the data via the API.

The social media authentication methods, not only allows the venue to collect demographic data, it also allows them to increase their social reach and to gain more Likes and Follows as users login to the guest WiFi.

Case Study: London Borough of Brent
