Fireworks and fire-crackers are prohibited in state parks.

Pets must be on a maximum six-foot leash.

Off-highway vehicle (OHV) riding is permitted only in designated areas.

Discharge of weapons or dangerous devices are prohibited unless: The weapon or device is being used for

the legal pursuit of wildlife; authorized by a Special Use Permit or an authorized event; used in accordance with the Concealed Weapons Act; or used by authorized law enforcement officers in the performance of their official duties.

A special use permit is required from Utah State Parks for most special events, and commercial or professional filming.

Take responsibility for your children. Make sure they always hike, bike, swim, or boat with a partner or a group at all times.

Park quiet hours: 10 p.m. -7 a.m.

Maximum speed limit within parks is 15 mph.

Use sanitary disposal stations for dumping/draining all water from your RV or camper.

We want you to have a safe and enjoyable visit. Start by reviewing these safety regulations and park pass details. If you have questions or concerns, use the contact information below to reach a park office or staff person to help you.

Most state parks are fee areas. Please support parks by paying fees, which provide for care, protection and enhancement of state parks.

Camp and park only in designated areas.

Campfires allowed in specified areas only. No gathering firewood.

It’s unlawful to remove, alter, or destroy plants, animals, or other natural features.
